Ⅰ.阅读理解
When kids go into primary school, they are ready for more responsibility. This is the time for parents to teach them about daily life, and help them take control over their daily life.Parents and children might sit down together and make a list of everything that needs to be done to get out of the house in the morning, or get ready for bed at night.
Together, they should figure out how long each activity takes, and when the best time to do them is.Some kids might want to get their backpacks ready and pick out their clothes the night before;maybe others do so in the morning.
It's also wise to create a firm schedule for their homework. When do children do their homework? How long do they need to do it? Where do they do it? Where does the homework go once it is done? Figure them out all before, and stick to the schedule as much as possible.
Spira suggests that parents should print out these task lists, and then, step by step, hand over the execution (执行) of these tasks to the children.Children might even check them off with a dry marker to erase (擦掉) them each morning or evening, as they move through their lists.
Also, make sure the rooms in which these tasks take place are fixed with easytoread clocks.Time management is an important part of learning organisation, but it can't be done if kids don't know what time it is.

A.Parents help kids to control their daily life.
B.Parents do everything for their kids in life.

A.Parents should be examples to kids.
B.Parents should help kids to do everything.

Ⅲ.读后续写
Jenny, who was the only child in her home, had a quarrel with her mother that afternoon and she ran out of the house angrily. She couldn't help weeping sorrowfully when she thought of the scolding from her mother.Having wandered aimlessly in the street for hours, she felt a little hungry and wished for something to eat, but it was not even possible for her, since she had nothing with her.She stood beside a stand (货摊) for a while, watching the middleaged seller busy doing his business. However, with no money in hand, she sighed and had to leave.
The seller behind the stand noticed the young girl and asked, “Hey, girl, you want to have the noodles?”
“Oh, yes...but I don't have any money on me...” she replied.
“That's nothing.I'll treat you today,” said the man, “Come in.”
The seller brought her a bowl of noodles, whose smell was so attractive. As she was eating, Jenny cried silently.
“What is it?” asked the man kindly.
“Nothing, actually.I was just touched by your kindness!” said Jenny as she wiped her tears, “Even a stranger in the street will give me a bowl of noodles, while my mother scolded me for very small things. She showed no care for me.She is so merciless compared with a stranger!”
Hearing the words, the seller smiled, “Girl, do you really think so? I only gave you a bowl of noodles and you thanked me a lot.But it is your mother who has raised you since you were a baby. Can you number the times she cooked for you? Have you expressed your gratitude to her?”
Jenny sat there, speechless and numb with shock, she remembered her mother's familiar face.“Why did I not think of that? A bowl of noodles from a stranger made me feel indebted, but I have never thanked my mom for what she has done for me.”
On the way home, Jenny made up her mind to make an apology to her mother for her rudeness as soon as she arrived home.
