Our school encourages us to do volunteer work. Last Saturday, my classmates and I went to the community nursing home.
We helped clean the rooms and pick up rubbish first. Then we told stories and chatted with the elderly, we also do some cooking for them.Time flew by quickly while we stayed together.They felt warm and grateful,saying we brought them a wonderful day.
I think it’s a meaningful activity. It created a small circle of goodwill, and I’m glad to offer my hand whenever people are in need.
