Animals are our good friends. We want to talk with animals. It was difficult before, but AI can help us now.
Karen Bakker, a teacher in Canada, thinks that AI will make people closer to animals and plants in the future. “AI helps people talk with bats and bees,” Bakker says. How does it work?
When bats talk with each other, people first record their sounds. Then they input (输入) the sounds into a computer. Finally they use AI to find out what the bats say. People cannot hear these sounds with their ears. But AI can understand these sounds. It can also help people speak back to bats.
People also find an interesting thing: When baby bats learn to “speak”, mother bats often lower their voices.
As for bees, people use a computer to watch them and study their language. They even make a “robot bee.” The “robot bee” can talk with bees and it can live well with them.

D. AI will make people know more about animals in the future.

All over the world, people are worried about obesity (肥胖). Fast food is an important reason for this result. Fast food is quick and delicious, but eating fast food too often can cause many health problems, such as obesity and heart problems.
Fast food like hamburger and chips usually has a lot of fat, sugar and salt. And these may make us gain weight quickly. All fast food has one thing in common. It is usually high in calories (卡路里) but low in nutrients (营养). This means that even though we may feel full after eating fast food, our bodies may not get the important nutrients we need.
It is very important to cook by ourselves because it is healthy and we can have fun cooking. But cooking is not easy for some people. Although some food like vegetable salad is healthy and easy to make, there are always people who can’t cook and eat in restaurants. Now many places begin to serve healthy and delicious food.

C. To describe the history of fast food.
D. To teach people how to cook healthy food.

In our daily lives, good communication skills are very important. They help us make friends, get along with classmates, and work well with others. Here are some useful tips to improve your communication skills.
Remember others’ names. When you meet someone new, try to remember his name. You can repeat the name in your mind or connect him to something. For example, if you meet a boy named Tom wearing a black cap, think “Tom in a black cap”. Remembering their names shows you care.
Find suitable topics. Start with simple things like the weather, “It’s rainy. Do you like the rain?” or sports, “Did you see the football match? The winning goal was great!” News or a funny joke can also work.
Be a good listener. When someone talks, put away your phone, look at them, and nod sometimes. This shows you are interested and makes them feel respected. People will like talking to you if you listen well.
Keep smiling. A warm smile can make communication easier. When you meet someone especially for the first time, smiling sincerely shows you are friendly and helps break the ice.
Be honest. Honesty is a key to good relationships. Always tell the truth. If you don’t know something, just say so. No one likes a dishonest person.
Keep your promise. If you promise to meet a friend, please be on time. If you need to change plans, tell them early. People will trust you more.
By following these tips, you can improve your communication skills and build better relationships with the people around you.
