When it comes to helping develop village education (教育), the first thing most people think of is to give away things like books, clothes and money. However, Hou Changliang doesn’t think so. He uses a saying to show his opinion, “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.”
In 2017, he began to volunteer to teach at Xiangyang Primary School in Yunnan.

When it comes to helping develop village education (教育), the first thing most people think of is to give away things like books, clothes and money. However, Hou Changliang doesn’t think so.
