The name “Jiuzhaigou” means “the valley of nine Tibetan villages”. There are nine traditional Tibetan villages in the valley, and the local people live in harmony with nature. The most amazing part of Jiuzhaigou is its lakes. The water of the lakes is in different colours, like blue, green, turquoise and even red. The colours change with the light and the season, which makes the lakes look like precious gemstones. The reason for the colourful water is the special minerals (矿物质) and algae (藻类) in the lake bed, which shows the sunlight in different ways.

A good book is like a good friend. It can accompany us through difficult times and bring us joy and wisdom. But how to choose a good book that suits us? Many people feel confused when they are faced with a large number of books in the library or bookstore.
The first thing to consider is your own interest. If you are interested in science, you can choose science books or science fiction novels. If you like stories, you can read storybooks or novels. Choosing a book that you are interested in will make reading more enjoyable and help you stick to it. If you choose a book that you don’t like, you will easily get bored and give up halfway.
Another important factor is the difficulty of the book. For students, it is not a good idea to choose books that are too difficult or too easy. Books that are too difficult will make you feel frustrated, while books that are too easy will not help you improve. You can choose books that are a little challenging but still understandable. You can also ask your teachers or parents for advice. They have more experience and can recommend suitable books for you.

Choosing a good book is the first step to enjoying reading. Once you find a book that suits you, you will find that reading is a wonderful experience. It can open your mind and enrich your life. So take your time to choose a good book and start your reading journey today.
