阅读理解 A (2026·辽宁锦州模拟) Defeating Daniil Medvedev in New York on Sunday, Djokovic, one of the greatest tennis player, bagging 24 Grand Slam (大满贯) singles titles, equalized the record held by Australian Margaret Court, the same number of singles titles in the all-time count. With the victory, Djokovic became the oldest US Open men’s singles champion in the Open Era. In total, he has 10 Australian Opens, seven Wimbledons, four US Opens and three Roland Garros titles, making him the only man to win all four majors at least three times. “When I realized that, I started to dream new dreams and set new goals. I never imagined that I would be here talking about 24 Slams,” he said afterwards. Djokovic reached all finals in the Grand Slams in 2023, and the only loss was at Wimbledon, when Carlos Alcaraz of Spain, 20, brought home the champion after an intense battle lasting four hours and 43 minutes. Djokovic, at 36, shows few signs of losing physical edge. He stays healthy, keeps exceptional skills and always desires to win more. Capturing his first Grand Slam in 2008, Djokovic bagged half of his 24 major titles after he turned 30. “One of the biggest lessons I have learned probably mentally throughout my career is that even if you find a formula (方案) that works, it’s not a guarantee, and actually most likely it’s not going to work the next year, so I keep reinventing myself and always trying to find better ways to win,” said Djokovic. For Djokovic, who always gets tough when the going gets tough, 24 is just a number that he can go beyond. “I’ll continue to prioritize Grand Slams as my most important tournaments and where I want to play the best tennis. That will stay the same in the next season, or I don’t know how many more seasons I have in my legs,” he added, “So, let’s see.” 1. What does the underlined word “equalized” in the first paragraph probably mean? A. Set. B. Broke. C. Levelled. D. Approached. 2. What can we know about Djokovic according to the passage? A. He won 12 Grand Slams in his thirties. B. He won all the finals in the Grand Slams in 2023. C. He attached the same importance to all the matches. D He is the oldest men’s singles champion in the open era. 3. What seems the “secret” of Djokovic’s great achievement? A. Losing physical edge. B. Attending more Grand Slams. C. Following a good formula. D. Finding flexible and proper strategies. 4. Which of the following can best describe Djokovic? A. Confident and emotional. B. Ambitious and devoted. C. Aggressive and stubborn. D. Enthusiastic and generous. B (2025·1月八省联考) Want to learn a new language or get A’s in college exams? Previous studies have shown that exercise can help stimulate the areas of the brain that convert (转换) new information into long-term memory. A new study has taken this information one step further and found the best time when exercise can help maximize learning. Building upon past research that found exercise releases biochemicals that improve mental function, scientists at Radboud University and the University of Edinburgh conducted a study to determine when exercise was most beneficial to learning. Participants — 72 healthy male and female adults — were first asked to perform a computer test that challenged their visual and spatial learning. After the test, all of the subjects watched nature documentaries, but two-thirds of them also exercised. Half of the exercisers did circuit training on an exercise bike for 35 minutes immediately after the test. The other half did the same exercise but not until four hours after they had been tested. Two days later, all of the participants returned to the lab for a recall test, and they were connected to MRI (磁共振成像) machines to assess their brain activity. The participants who exercised four hours after taking the computer test were able to recall what they had learned most accurately. Their brainwaves also showed more consistent levels of activity, indicating that their brains were less taxed to remember what they had learned. According to this research, the best time to exercise to improve learning is four hours after studying. But why? That’s one question the researchers have yet to answer. Another question left unanswered is the level of exercise that might best improve learning. I’ve run enough marathons to prove the fact that my brain is anything but sharp during or after a tough workout. But the researchers noted that light workouts might not give the brain enough of a biochemical boost to improve learning. 5. What did the new study aim to explore? A. When exercise is best for learning. B. What biochemicals are good for health. C. How brainwaves should be measured. D. Which area of the brain is the most active. 6. What were all the participants asked to do during the experiment? A. Train on bicycles. B. Do mathematics exercises. C. Play computer games. D. Watch films about nature. 7. Why did the participants return to the lab two days later? A. To do a medical examination. B. To have their memory tested. C. To get their workouts recorded. D. To finish their previous tasks. 8. What might the author’s marathon running prove? A. The findings of the study are reliable. B. Long-distance runners are often smart. C. Studies on the marathon are not enough. D. Hard exercise may not sharpen the brain. Ⅱ. 七选五 (2026·海淀·二模) Stuffed animals, or plush toys, are a cherished part of childhood for many. Yet their appeal extends far beyond the early years. C 2. A 3. D 4. 根据划线单词前的“Defeating Daniil Medvedev in New York on Sunday, Djokovic, one of the greatest tennis player, bagging 24 Grand Slam (大满贯) singles titles(周日,德约科维奇在纽约击败了丹尼尔·梅德韦杰夫,这位最伟大的网球运动员之一,获得了24个大满贯单打冠军)”可知,德约科维奇是最伟大的网球运动员之一,获得了24个大满贯,结合下文中的“the record held by Australian Margaret Court, the same number of singles titles in the all-time count.(澳大利亚人玛格丽特·考特保持的记录,在历史上获得单打冠军的次数相同。)” 根据第四段中的“Capturing his first Grand Slam in 2008, Djokovic bagged half of his 24 major titles after he turned 30.(2008年,德约科维奇获得了他的第一个大满贯,在他30岁之后,他获得了24个大满贯中的一半。)” 故选A项。 根据倒数第二段中的““One of the biggest lessons I have learned probably mentally throughout my career is that even if you find a formula (方案) that works, it’s not a guarantee, and actually most likely it’s not going to work the next year, so I keep reinventing myself and always trying to find better ways to win,” said Djokovic.(德约科维奇说:“在我的整个职业生涯中,我学到的最重要的一课可能是,即使你找到了一个有效的方案,也不能保证它是有效的,实际上很可能明年它也不会有效,所以我不断地改造自己,总是试图找到更好的方法来赢得比赛。”)” 根据尾段中的““I’ll continue to prioritize Grand Slams as my most important tournaments and where I want to play the best tennis. That will stay the same in the next season, or I don’t know how many more seasons I have in my legs,” he added, “So, let’s see.”(“我将继续把大满贯作为我最重要的比赛,我想在那里打出最好的网球。 5. A 6. D 7. B 8. For children, these soft, huggable toys often serve as a source of emotional security. The act of cuddling a stuffed animal can provide reassurance and a sense of calm.(毛绒玩具如此受人喜爱的主要原因之一是它们提供的安慰。 【11题详解】 根据上文“Besides, stuffed animals often become loyal companions, offering emotional support.(此外,毛绒玩具经常成为忠实的伙伴,提供情感支持)”以及后文“The attachment they develop to their stuffed animals is not just a passing phase. This kind of play helps children understand complex emotions like love, concern, and responsibility. This allows them to build emotional intelligence from an early age.(孩子们可能会以他们看到的成年人照顾他们的方式“照顾”他们的玩具,培养同理心和养育技能。 【13题详解】 根据前文“Beyond emotional comfort, stuffed animals have been used as tools in therapy. In child psychology, therapists often incorporate stuffed animals to help children express their emotions, fears, and wishes in a non-threatening way. 在儿童心理学中,治疗师经常使用毛绒动物玩具来帮助孩子们以一种不具威胁性的方式表达他们的情绪、恐惧和愿望)”可知,第五段从儿童治疗转向成年人受益,G选项“成年人也能从毛绒玩具的治疗方面获益”衔接后文研究结论,后文“Many find comfort in hugging or holding a plush toy as a way to alleviate stress, anxiety, or even physical pain. A growing body of research suggests hugging a stuffed animal can reduce stress hormones, and trigger the release of oxytocin, which promotes feelings of well-being and relaxation.(许多人认为拥抱或抱着毛绒玩具是缓解压力、焦虑甚至身体疼痛的一种方式。 14. but##yet 15.
