Now in China, the Ministry of Education (教育部) pays much attention to AI education for primary and middle school students. Why does it push this kind of education?
AI is everywhere in our daily life. It helps us a lot. We can set alarms with our voice or translate words quickly on apps. AI can also finish boring hard work like sorting lots of data (整理大量数据). Then people have more time to do creative work.
To help students get ready for the future, schools make clear AI study plans for different grades. Primary students learn easy AI skills. Junior high students learn how AI works, such as why smart speakers can understand our words, and use AI to work out problems. Senior high students can even make small AI inventions, like robots watering plants by themselves.
The government (政府) also takes useful steps. It opens an online AI area on the national smart education platform for fun learning. Last year, 184 schools became pilot schools to try new AI teaching ways. Their good ideas will go to other schools later.
Besides, many universities and tech companies open their AI labs to students. Last month, students from Beijing No.4 Middle School visited Tencent’s AI lab and watched how AI tells different people’s faces.
With all these efforts, Chinese students will certainly get well ready for the AI future.
3. What can’t students do in AI classes at school?
A. Create AI problems. B. Learn simple AI skills. C. Study how AI works.
4. What does the underlined word “pilot” in Paragraph 4 mean?

When spring comes and days become longer, lots of people find their feelings start to change. Warm wind, pretty flowers and nice sunshine make us full of energy. But why does this happen? How does sunshine affect our moods?
Many studies show that sunlight, temperature and humidity (湿度) can all affect our mental (心理的) health. One of the most important influences is sunlight, which plays a key role in controlling (控制) our body clock, the natural 24-hour cycles that affect sleep, energy and mood.
More sunshine means our brains make fewer sleepy chemicals (化学物质) and more happy ones. That’s why spring and summer bring us better moods. However, when there's not enough sunlight in winter, many people start feeling worse. They have low energy, feel sad or hopeless, and have difficulty in focusing. The good news is when days get longer in spring, these feelings often get better.
Here are easy ways to enjoy spring sunshine fully: First, stay outside. Go hiking or grow plants. Sunshine creates Vitamin D for our bones and mood. Second, take exercise often. Sports make happy chemicals in our bodies, and outdoor exercise works better with sunshine. Third, slow down to enjoy nature. Listen to birds or feel warm sunlight, and just focus on beautiful things around you. Fourth, keep a regular life: Get up early and sleep when the sun goes down. Staying up late is bad for health.
In a word, the arrival of spring and the longer sunlight hours give us a natural treatment for winter blues. Weather, especially sunlight, surely affects mood and mental health. So as the season changes, go outside, feel the sun on your skin, and let the energy lift your mood. Remember: spending time in nature can make you happier and healthier.
7. What can we get from sunshine to keep our bones healthy?
A. Happy chemicals. B. Vitamin D. C. Sleepy chemicals.
8. What may people experience if they don’t have enough sunlight in winter?
A. Being more focused. B. Feeling angry easily. C. Feeling more hopeless.
9. According to the passage, to have a good mood, we can ________.
A. stay in a gym and do more physical activities
B. visit museums to learn about creative works of art
C. have a picnic or ride bicycles in the park on a nice day
10. What is the writer’s main purpose in writing this passage?
A. To study when and why people are in a blue mood.
B. To encourage people to enjoy sunshine and fresh air.
C. To explain why and how weather affects our moods.

第一节 简答
阅读下面短文,根据短文内容回答问题。
In recent years, spring and autumn holidays have become a hot topic across China. These holidays are about 2 to 3 days long. Some provinces and cities start to try this new holiday rule.
The two short breaks usually come in mild spring and comfortable autumn, when the weather is pleasant for outdoor activities. During the holidays, students can turn their knowledge into life skills in many ways. For example, they can get close to nature, take part in cultural activities such as visiting museums and do volunteer work (志愿活动). Instead of staying indoors with textbooks all day, these experiences help them open their eyes to the real world and use what they have learned in daily life.
For most people, the holidays bring some other good news. With staggered (错峰的) holidays, there is no need to get caught in heavy traffic or crowded (拥挤的) tourist sights during long vacations. Families usually have short trips or simple daily activities together. The comfortable trips make the holiday a truly enjoyable experience for the whole family.
However, the policy (政策) still faces some problems. Working parents have the biggest challenge (挑战): they have no time to look after their kids on holidays. To solve this problem, schools hold many fun activities like hand-making (手工制作) and reading for students. Neighborhoods also give more after-school plans. Different places can make holiday plans to meet their own needs.
All in all, spring and autumn holidays are a meaningful step in education reform (改革). They show that schools and society care more about students' physical and mental health as well as their all-round (全面的) development.
