人教选择性必修第三册 Unit 2 HEALTHY LIFESTYLE (健康的生活方式) 阅读理解 [2024·全国甲卷,阅读C篇] The Saint Lukas train doesn􀆳t accept passengers—it accepts only the sick. The Saint Lukas is one of five government-sponsored medical trains that travel to remote towns in central and eastern Russia. Each stop lasts an average of two days, and during that time the doctors and nurses on board provide rural(乡村的) populations with basic medical care, X-ray scans and prescriptions. “People started queuing to make an appointment early in the morning,” says Emile Ducke, a German photographer who travelled with the staff of the Saint Lukas for a two-week trip in November through the vast regions(区域) of Krasnoyarsk and Khakassia. Russia􀆳s public health care service has been in serious need of modernization. The government has struggled to come up with measures to address the problem, particularly in the poorer, rural areas east of the Volga River, including arranging doctor􀆳s appointments by video chat and expanding financial aid programmes to motivate doctors to practise medicine in remote parts of the country like Krasnoyarsk. The annual arrival of the Saint Lukas is another attempt to improve the situation. For 10 months every year, the train stops at about eight stations over two weeks, before returning to the regional capital to refuel and restock (补给). Then it starts all over again the next month. Most stations wait about a year between visits. Doctors see up to 150 patients every day. The train􀆳s equipment allows for basic checkups. “I was very impressed by the doctors and their assistants working and living in such little space but still staying focused and very concerned,” says Ducke. “They were the best chance for many rural people to get the treatment they want.” ( )28.How is the Saint Lukas different from other trains? A.It runs across countries. B.It reserves seats for the seniors. C.It functions as a hospital. D.It travels along a river. ( )29.What can we infer from Paragraph 3 about Krasnoyarsk? A.It is heavily populated. B.It offers training for doctors. C.It is a modern city. D.It needs medical aid. ( )30.How long can the Saint Lukas work with one supply? A.About a year. B.About ten months. C.About two months. D.About two weeks. ( )31.What is Ducke􀆳s attitude towards the Saint Lukas􀆳 services? A.Appreciative. B.Doubtful. C.Ambiguous. D.Cautious. 根据文章第一段“The Saint Lukas train doesn􀆳t accept passengers—it accepts only the sick. The Saint Lukas is one of five government-sponsored medical trains that travel to remote towns in central and eastern Russia. Each stop lasts an average of two days, and during that time the doctors and nurses on board provide rural(乡村的)populations with basic medical care, X-ray scans and prescriptions.” 根据第三段“Russia􀆳s public health care service has been in serious need of modernization. The government has struggled to come up with measures to address the problem, particularly in the poorer, rural areas east of the Volga River, including arranging doctor􀆳s appointments by video chat and expanding financial aid programmes to motivate doctors to practise medicine in remote parts of the country like Krasnoyarsk.” 根据第四段“For 10 months every year, the train stops at about eight stations over two weeks, before returning to the regional capital to refuel and restock (补给).” 根据最后一段的“‘I was very impressed by the doctors and their assistants working and living in such little space but still staying focused and very concerned,’ says Ducke. ‘They were the best chance for many rural people to get the treatment they want.’” [2023·浙江1月考,阅读B篇] Live with roommates? Have friends and family around you? The chances are that if you􀆳re looking to live a more sustainable lifestyle, not everyone around you will be ready to jump on that bandwagon.  I experienced this when I started switching to a zero waste lifestyle five years ago, as I was living with my parents, and I continue to experience this with my husband, as he is not completely zero waste like me. I􀆳ve learned a few things along the way though, which I hope you􀆳ll find encouraging if you􀆳re doing your best to figure out how you can make the change in a not-always-supportive household. Zero waste was a radical lifestyle movement a few years back. I remember showing my parents a video of Bea Johnson, sharing how cool I thought it would be to buy groceries with jars, and have so little trash! A few days later, I came back with my first jars of zero waste groceries, and my dad commented on how silly it was for me to carry jars everywhere. It came off as a bit discouraging. Yet as the months of reducing waste continued, I did what I could that was within my own reach. I had my own bedroom, so I worked on removing things I didn􀆳t need. Since I had my own toiletries (洗漱用品), I was able to start personalising my routine to be more sustainable. I also offered to cook every so often, so I portioned out a bit of the cupboard for my own zero waste groceries. Perhaps your household won􀆳t entirely make the switch, but you may have some control over your own personal spaces to make the changes you desire. As you make your lifestyle changes, you may find yourself wanting to speak up for yourself if others comment on what you􀆳re doing, which can turn itself into a whole household debate. If you have individuals who are not on board, your words probably won􀆳t do much and can often leave you feeling more discouraged. So here is my advice: lead by action. ( )24.What do the underlined words “jump on that bandwagon” mean in the first paragraph? A.Share an apartment with you. B.Join you in what you􀆳re doing. C.Transform your way of living. D.Help you to make the decision. ( )25.What was the attitude of the author􀆳s father towards buying groceries with jars? A.He disapproved of it. B.He was favourable to it. C.He was tolerant of it. D.He didn􀆳t care about it. ( )26.What can we infer about the author? A.She is quite good at cooking. B.She respects others􀆳 privacy. C.She enjoys being a housewife. D.She is a determined person. ( )27.What is the text mainly about? A.How to get on well with other family members. B.How to have one􀆳s own personal space at home. C.How to live a zero waste lifestyle in a household. D.How to control the budget when buying groceries. 根据画线部分前文“The chances are that if you􀆳re looking to live a more sustainable lifestyle, not everyone around you will be ready to…”及第二段中的“I􀆳ve learned a few things along the way though, which I hope you􀆳ll find encouraging if you􀆳re doing your best to figure out how you can make the change in a not-always-supportive household.” 由此推知,画线词组jump on that bandwagon与B项“Join you in what you􀆳re doing.”(加入你正在做的事情。) 根据第三段中的“A few days later, I came back with my first jars of zero waste groceries, and my dad commented on how silly it was for me to carry jars everywhere. It came off as a bit discouraging.” 故选A。 根据第四段中的“Yet as the months of reducing waste continued, I did what I could that was within my own reach.” 及“Perhaps your household won􀆳t entirely make the switch, but you may have some control over your own personal spaces to make the changes you desire.”(也许你的家庭不会完全改变,但你可以控制自己的个人空间,做出你想要的改变。) 根据第一段中的“The chances are that if you􀆳re looking to live a more sustainable lifestyle, not everyone around you will be ready to jump on that bandwagon.”(如果你想过一种更可持续的生活方式,可能不是你周围的每个人都准备好加入其中。)及第二段中的“I􀆳ve learned a few things along the way though, which I hope you􀆳ll find encouraging if you􀆳re doing your best to figure out how you can make the change in a not-always-supportive household.”(不过在这个过程中,我学到了一些东西,我希望如果你正在尽最大努力想办法在一个不总是支持你的家庭中做出改变,你会感到鼓舞。) 阅读七选五 [2019·全国卷I] Is fresh air really good for you? We all grew up hearing people tell us to “go out and get some fresh air”. 36 According to recent studies, the answer is a big YES,if the air quality in your camping area is good.   37 If the air you’re breathing is clean—which it would be if you’re away from the smog of cities—then the air is filled with life-giving,energizing oxygen. If you exercise out of doors, your body will learn to breathe more deeply, allowing even more oxygen to get to your muscles(肌肉) and your brain.  Recently, people have begun studying the connection between the natural world and healing(治愈). 38 In these places patients can go to be near nature during their recovery. It turns out that just looking at green, growing things can reduce stress, lower blood pressure, and put people into a better mood(情绪).Greenery is good for us. Hospital patients who see tree branches out their window are likely to recover at a faster rate than patients who see buildings or sky instead. 39 It gives us a great feeling of peace.   40 While the sun’s rays can age and harm our skin, they also give us beneficial Vitamin D. To make sure you get enough Vitamin D—but still protect your skin—put on sunscreen right as you head outside. It takes sunscreen about fifteen minutes to start working, and that’s plenty of time for your skin to absorb a day’s worth of Vitamin D.  A. Fresh air cleans our lungs. B. So what are you waiting for? C. Being in nature refreshes us. D. Another side benefit of getting fresh air is sunlight. E.But is fresh air really as good for you as your mother always said? F.Just as importantly, we tend to associate fresh air with health care. G.All across the country, recovery centres have begun building Healing Gardens. 36.E 根据下一句中“…the answer is a big YES…” 空前的“…people tell us to ‘go out and get some fresh air’.”和选项中的“…your mother always said?” 根据空后“If the air you’re breathing is clean—which it would be if you’re away from the smog of cities…” 40.D 由下文中提到的“…the sun’s rays…give us beneficial Vitamin D.”可知,该段介绍的是阳光的好处。 In a study of 33 years of trends in Body Mass Index(体重指数) across 200 countries, the scientists found that people worldwide are getting heavier 56. that most of the rise is due to gains in BMI in rural areas.  BMI is an internationally recognized measurement tool 57. gives an indication of whether someone is a healthy weight. It is calculated by dividing a 58. (person) weight in kg by their height in metres squared, and a BMI of between 19 and 25 59. (consider) healthy.  The study found that between 1985 and 2017, average rural BMI increased 60. 2.1 in women and men. In cities, however, the gain 61. (be) 1.3 in women and 1.6 in men. The researchers described “striking changes” in the geography of BMI. In 1985, urban men and women in more than three quarters of the countries 62. (study) had higher BMIs than men and women in rural areas. But 30 years later, the BMI difference between urban and rural people in many countries had narrowed 63. (sharp).  This may be due to some disadvantages for people 64. (live) in the countryside, including 65. (low) levels of income and education, higher costs of healthy foods, and fewer sports facilities. 57.that/which 考查定语从句。根据语法结构知,空处引导定语从句,先行词是an internationally recognized measurement tool,空处在从句作主语,故填关系代词that/which。 Dear Jim, __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Yours, Li Hua 【答案】 Dear Jim, Hearing that you are planning a club activity with the theme of “Green Beijing” and need my help, I am writing to offer you my suggestions. I think you can carry out this activity in an interactive and experiential manner, which means students can participate and have a better understanding of “Green Beijing” through getting involved in different activities by themselves. You can showcase garbage classification on site, plant trees and publicize sharing economy, which will all fit into the theme of “Green Beijing”. Hopefully, you will get some inspiration from my suggestions. Wish you success. 词汇积累 建议:suggestion→tip 提供:offer→provide 开展:carry out→conduct 主题:theme→topic 2. Hearing that you are planning a club activity with the theme of “Green Beijing” and need my d help, I am writing to offer you my suggestions. Since you are planning a club activity with the theme of “Green Beijing” and need my help, I am writing to offer you my suggestions. 【点睛】[高分句型1] Hearing that you are planning a club activity with the theme of “Green Beijing” and need my help, I am writing to offer you my suggestions. (运用了that引导宾语从句) [高分句型2] I think you can carry out this activity in an interactive and experiential manner, which means students can participate and have a better understanding of “Green Beijing” through getting involved in different activities by themselves.
