Last spring, my family drove to Zibo, Shandong. Everyone was talking about "Zibo barbecue" online, so we decided to try it ourselves.
When we got there on Friday evening, the streets were already full of people. We waited for about forty minutes before we found a seat in a small restaurant. The boss was very friendly. He taught us the right way to eat Zibo barbecue — wrap (裹) the meat with a pancake (煎饼), add some onions and sauce. It smelled so good that I ate three pancakes!
The next day, we visited the Haiyue Dragon Palace and took many photos. On Sunday morning, we went to the local market and bought some local specialties (特产) for our neighbors.
It was a short trip, but we felt the warmth of the city. I think that's why Zibo became popular — not just for the food, but for the kind people.

Hangzhou is famous for Longjing tea. If you visit the China National Tea Museum there, you can learn a lot about tea culture.
The museum is at the foot of Shuangfeng Mountain, not far from West Lake. It has several halls. In the History Hall, you can see old teapots and tea sets from different dynasties (朝代). Some of them are hundreds of years old.
In the Tasting Hall, visitors can sit around a big table and drink tea served by staff in traditional clothes. The tea master will show you how to smell the tea, take a sip (小口喝), and enjoy the aftertaste (回味).
Outside, there is a small tea garden. Visitors can pick tea leaves in spring and try frying (炒) them by hand. It usually takes years to be a good tea maker, but trying it for once is fun!
Many school groups come here for study tours. It's a perfect place to slow down and feel the beauty of Chinese tradition.
