名词所有格表示所属关系,相当于物主代词,其后可直接接名词,意为“某人/物的···”
1) 构成:
一般地,直接在名词词尾加’s 如Tom’s, my mother’s 等;
以s结尾的复数名词则在后面加 ’ 如students’ parents’
2) 名词所有格也可以用 the +名词+of+所有者 来表示,如the name of the cat, the roof of the house
3) 名词所有格所修饰的名词,如果表示店铺,教堂,医院或某人家时,该名词可省略, 如: my aunt’s (我阿姨家) the doctor’s (诊所), at the barber’s/tailor’s/butcher’s(在理发店/裁缝店/肉铺)等
