五、知识精讲
1. be 动词的选用(口诀)
我(I)用 am;你(you)、我们(we)、他们(they)及复数名词用 are;他 / 她 / 它(he / she / it)及单数名词用 is。

2. 四种基本句式
肯定句 主语 + be + 其余。例:He is from the US.
否定句 be + not(isn't / aren't;am not 无缩写)。例:I'm not twelve.
一般疑问句 be 提前。例:Are you Peter? — Yes, I am. / No, I'm not.
特殊疑问句 疑问词 + be + 主语…?例:Where is Mr Smith from?
易错 简略回答须写全:Yes, I am.(不可 Yes, I'm.)
3. 主谓一致
并列主语用 are Emma and Ella are twins. Tom and I are in the band.
单数名词用 is Lin Hai's favourite colour is green. Lisa's pet cat is cute.
