写作
One possible version:
Should We Order Takeaway Food at School?
In recent years, takeaway food is very popular in China. Some people are used to having delicious foods delivered directly to their dinner table. This surely saves them much trouble, as they don’t have to spend time cooking a meal for themselves.
But as high school students, should we order takeaway food online at school? Personally, I don’t think it right to do so. Firstly, it’s known to all that takeaway food is usually delivered in plastic containers. Countless plastic bags and boxes will cause white pollution to our school. Secondly, there can be health risks involved in the takeaway food.
So in my view, takeaway food must be banned from entering school, so that we can have a good environment and better health.

100 Things We’ve Lost to the Internet 的书。
根据题目找主旨定位到文章第一段中“A book like that for me was released this week. It’s called 100 Things We’ve Lost to the Internet, written by editor Pamela Paul(这周出版了一本类似的书。这是编辑帕梅拉·保罗所著的《我们被网络遗忘的100件事》)”可知本书由Pamela Paul 所写,名叫 100 Things We’ve Lost to the Internet 故选A。

根据第一段“At the 2025 Asian Winter Games, a robotic dog was autonomously inspecting the surroundings to identify potential danger and ensure safety. This remarkable application is a vivid example of what Embodied AI (具身智能) is(在2025年亚洲冬季运动会上,一只机器狗正在自主巡查周边环境,以识别潜在危险并确保安全。这一出色的应用生动地展示了何为具身人工智能(Embodied AI)。)”可知,作者提到2025年亚冬会的机器狗是为了介绍具身人工智能及其应用。故选B。

This model is supported by different learning approaches, which use sensors and policy-based methods to determine routes, while active inference imitates the human brain’s operation.(具身人工智能(Embodied AI)的核心在于其针对运行环境而设计的世界模型。 可知,第二段是讲的它的工作原理;根据第三段“Despite its potential, Embodied AI still has a winding road to go.(尽管具有潜力,嵌入式人工智能仍有一条曲折的道路要走。)”可知,第三段讲的是它面临的挑战;根据第四段“Nevertheless, the future of Embodied AI is promising.(然而,具身人工智能的未来是有希望的。)”
36.上文“I grew up in Sichuan, but I only learned to cook surprisingly late in life, after moving to Germany when I began missing the taste of home. My first adult kitchen was in a small shared flat in Berlin — Mitte. Out of necessity, I turned to Xiachufang, a Chinese user-generated recipe (菜谱) app, and taught myself a handful of dishes. (我在四川长大,但我学会做饭晚得出奇,是在搬到德国后,因为开始想念家乡的味道。我第一个属于成年人的厨房在柏林米特区的一个合租小公寓里。出于需要,我转向了“下厨房”这个中国用户自创的食谱App,自学了几道菜)”讲述了作者在德国开始自学做菜的背景。B选项“Tomato and egg stir-fry was one of them. (西红柿炒蛋就是其中之一)”顺承上文,明确了“a handful of dishes”中的一道具体菜式,引出了后文将要围绕其展开的深入回忆和讨论。下文“And over the next decade, I must have made it at least fifty, if not a hundred times. (在接下来的十年里,我肯定至少做了它五十次,如果没有一百次的话)”中的“it”正是指代B选项中的“Tomato and egg stir-fry”。故选B项。
37.上文“For many Chinese immigrants, tomato and egg is the first dish we master once we leave home. (对于许多中国移民来说,西红柿炒蛋是我们离开家后掌握的第一道菜)”指出了这道菜对海外华人的普遍意义。下文“It only began appearing in Chinese kitchens in the 1940s, yet it somehow became the most “default (默认的)” of home-cooked meals. (它直到20世纪40年代才开始出现在中国厨房中,但不知怎地就成为了最“默认的”家常菜)”说明了这道菜历史相对较短但却非常普及。D选项“The surprising fact is that the dish itself is relatively young. (令人惊讶的事实是,这道菜本身的历史相对较年轻)”位于两者之间,既承接上文关于“第一道菜”的普遍性论述,又引出了下文对其历史起源的具体说明,起到了承上启下的作用。故选D项。
38.下文“Some will claim no version (版本) tops their mother’s. Others chase down hidden menu at high-end restaurants or drive across Chengdu just for the plate everyone says is “the best”. (有些人会声称没有哪个版本能胜过他们妈妈做的。另一些人则会追逐高端餐厅里的隐藏菜单,或者驱车穿越成都就为了那道大家都说是“最好的”菜)”描述了人们对这道菜的两种极端态度:一种是高度个人化的(妈妈版最好),一种是追求极致的公认“最佳”。E选项“Today, tomato and egg are both universal and deeply personal. (如今,西红柿炒蛋既普遍存在,又极具个人色彩)”位于段首,作为本段的总起句,精准地概括了下文描述的两种现象所体现出的双重特性——普遍性(到处都有)和个人性(妈妈做的无可替代)。上下文形成“总—分”结构。故选E项。
39.上文“For all its simplicity, with just tomatoes, eggs, oil, and salt, some versions do taste better than others. (尽管它很简单,只用西红柿、鸡蛋、油和盐,但有些版本确实比其他版本味道更好)”指出了简单材料下口味仍有差异。G选项“For years, I made mine with the cheapest supermarket tomatoes I could find in Germany. (多年来,我一直用我在德国能找到的最便宜的超市西红柿来做我的西红柿炒蛋)”顺承上文,以作者自身为例,说明了长期以来,他做的版本属于“others (其他版本)”之一,用的是普通便宜的食材,暗示这可能不是“taste better”的那个版本,为下文决定进行口味测试埋下伏笔。下文“This summer, though, with late-season tomatoes at their peak, I decided to test what actually makes a difference. (然而今年夏天,趁着晚季西红柿正当季,我决定测试一下到底是什么造成了差异)”中的“though”正是对G选项中长期使用便宜番茄做法的转折。故选G项。
40.上文“I cooked plate after plate, sometimes five or six times within two weeks. At one point, I threw a batch (一批) into the fridge, determined never to see tomato and egg again. (我做了一盘又一盘,有时两周内做了五六次。有一次,我把一批倒进了冰箱,决心再也不做西红柿炒蛋了)”描述了作者因反复试做而感到极度厌倦,甚至决定放弃。F选项“Yet the next day, I reheated it, paired it with steamed rice, and ate up the whole thing.

Secondly, there can be health risks involved in the takeaway food .
So in my view, takeaway food must be banned from entering school, so that we can have a good environment and better health.

Encarna Ales was taken out of school when she was just 8 years old. Now 74, the Spanish grandmother is still unable to read or write.
Ales loves to call her friends and family. Though she managed well enough, she is still unable to read people’s names in her contact book. Thankfully, she has a good grandson who developed a creative method to deal with her problem and kept it over many years.
Since Pedro Ortega was 11 years old, he has been drawing small pictures that correspond (符合) with his grandmother’s contact phone numbers. This way, she can identify the number based on its drawing, rather than its name. Ortega has been adding new drawings to his grandmother’s phone book for the last 20 years.
“Every time I’m back home, I sit down and add new drawings for her,” the 31-year-old said. “It has become something special between the two of us.”
While there may be obvious drawings to correspond with more common numbers, such as the hospital or the doctor, Ortega has even found a way to identify his grandmother’s personal connections, too.
Whenever they sit down to write down the phone number of a friend, Ales picks an object that reminds her of the person she knows, such as a sunflower. “On every page and for every number, I would draw a picture that she felt would identify the person she wanted to call,” Ortega told the news station. “It was something we thought of together,” he added. “She says something distinctive about every person and I draw it out for her. It’s a system we’ve had for twenty years.”
Ortega recently published photos of his artworks on social media where they have been shared thousands of times by people praising his work of love.
24. What is the problem with Encarna Ales?
A. She’s not really good at drawing. B. She doesn’t get along with her friends.
C. She forgets some of her friends’ names. D. She cannot read the names in the phone book.

A. He teaches her to read and write names. B. He draws pictures connected with phone numbers.
C. He guides her to draw pictures based on numbers. D. He helps her remember phone numbers.
26. Which of the following can best describe Ortega?
A. Active and hard-working. B. Smart and confident.
C. Creative and caring. D. Responsible and honest.
27. What is the best title for the text?
A. The Power of Creativity B. Grandma’s Contact Book
C. Nothing Is Impossible D. Ortega’s Gift to Grandma

Sometimes a book comes along that isn’t just “interesting” or “well done”— it’s a book where it seems like the author looked into your brain and wrote a book specifically for you. A book like that for me was released this week. It’s called 100 Things We’ve Lost to the Internet, written by editor Pamela Paul.
Paul lists 100 things we used to do that the Internet has either changed or taken over completely: writing letters, print newspapers, the joys of being bored, and not having all the knowledge in the world in your pocket.
As I’m a longtime accumulator of random knowledge, certain entries on the list—Being the Only One, Figuring Out Who That Actor is—hit me where I live; remembering detailed facts is no longer nearly as impressive when everyone has the capability to find the answer in seconds.
On and on the list goes, with every minor shift adding to the pile. What this book does so well is illustrate the growth of that pile; while any individual item might be no big deal, the collected set is significant. It’s a list of ways in which the world now is different from the world then.
Obviously, Paul isn’t saying that everything back then was better. Time marches on, after all. and it’s tough to argue against the many benefits that the Internet has brought into our lives. But that isn’t really the point. It’s not about whether it used to be better. It’s that it used to be different.
100 Things We’ve Lost to the Internet is a fun read for those of us who share some of Paul’s memories and experiences. We remember what it was like and we like to remember. The landscape has shifted, and no doubt it will shift again as technology’s advancement continues apace. This book serves as a reminder of the simple truth that when gains are made, sometimes something is lost.
28. What is the purpose of the text?
A. To review and recommend a good read. B. To comment on the effect of the Internet.
C. To argue for the viewpoint of a new book. D. To urge the readers to value what they have.
29. Which might be entries on Paul’s list?
A. Maps and Eye Contact. B. E-pay and Compact Disks.
C. Postcards and Homeschooling. D. Bad Photos and Washing Machines.
30. What does the underlined phrase “hit me where I live” in paragraph 3 mean?
A. Prove what I’m good at. B. Introduce how I grew up.
C. Describe the place I live in. D. Speak out what is on my mind.
31. What conclusion has the author drawn after reading Paul’s book?
A. Things in the past are better. B. There are no gains without pains.
C. The internet is a double-edged sword. D. Technology is constantly changing the world.
D
At the 2025 Asian Winter Games, a robotic dog was autonomously inspecting the surroundings to identify potential danger and ensure safety. This remarkable application is a vivid example of what Embodied AI (具身智能) is — a field that integrates artificial intelligence with physical systems like robots to enable real-world interaction.
The core (核心) of Embodied AI is its world model, designed for its operating environment. This model is supported by different learning approaches, which use sensors and policy-based methods to determine routes, while active inference imitates the human brain’s operation. These models continuously analyze environmental data and update the world model in time, allowing Embodied AI to develop rapidly. For instance, a robotic arm can improve its handling techniques by physically controlling objects and adjusting its actions based on feedback. This ability to learn and adapt through interaction is what sets Embodied AI apart from other forms of AI.
Despite its potential, Embodied AI still has a winding road to go. For example, safety concerns, gaps between imitation and real-world applications, and lack of standards are critical issues. Besides, given technical limits, such as not being able to climb stairs smoothly, Embodied AI also needs to learn how to transfer and apply knowledge to real-world environments.
Nevertheless, the future of Embodied AI is promising. Experts predict that the Embodied AI market could reach 86. 1 billion yuan ($12 billion) in China alone by 2030. This means robots may soon help at home, like taking care of the elderly, teaching kids, or cleaning. They could also be useful in emergencies, like rescuing people during disasters.
Dr. Siyuan Huang, head of the Beijing Institute of General Artificial Intelligence, noted, “Our work represents a vital step towards building general embodied agents. We need to further explore areas such as 3D vision-language adjustment and bridge the gap between visual-language capability and action.”
The journey has just begun, and the possibilities are endless. “Embodied AI will reshape our world, just like smartphones did.” he added.
32. Why does the author mention the robotic dog at the 2025 Asian Winter Games?
A. To describe the potential dangers of Embodied AI.
B. To introduce the topic of Embodied AI and its applications.
C. To compare the performance of robots with human athletes.
D. To emphasize the advanced technology used in sports events.
33. Which of the following is an application of Embodied AI?
A. A computer program analyzing data. B. An app providing language translation.
C. A smart machine adjusting temperature. D. A cleaning robot learning to tidy up rooms.
34. What can we learn about Embodied AI according to Dr. Siyuan Huang?
A. It needs to be improved. B. It has reached its potential.
C. It will have little impact on our lives. D. It will replace human labor in the future.
35. How is the passage organized?
①Definition ②Challenges ③Future prospects ④Working principles
A. ①—②—③—④ B. ①—④—②—③
C. ③—①—④—② D. ④—①—②—③

I grew up in Sichuan, but I only learned to cook surprisingly late in life, after moving to Germany when I began missing the taste of home. My first adult kitchen was in a small shared flat in Berlin — Mitte. Out of necessity, I turned to Xiachufang, a Chinese user-generated recipe (菜谱) app, and taught myself a handful of dishes. 36 And over the next decade, I must have made it at least fifty, if not a hundred times.
I know I’m not alone. For many Chinese immigrants, tomato and egg is the first dish we master once we leave home. 37 It only began appearing in Chinese kitchens in the 1940s, yet it somehow became the most “default (默认的)” of home-cooked meals.
38 Some will claim no version (版本) tops their mother’s. Others chase down hidden menu at high-end restaurants or drive across Chengdu just for the plate everyone says is “the best”.
For all its simplicity, with just tomatoes, eggs, oil, and salt, some versions do taste better than others. 39 This summer, though, with late-season tomatoes at their peak, I decided to test what actually makes a difference. I cooked plate after plate, sometimes five or six times within two weeks. At one point, I threw a batch (一批) into the fridge, determined never to see tomato and egg again. 40
A. They were an absolute treat.
B. Tomato and egg stir-fry was one of them.
C. The dish often pulled me back to my childhood.
D. The surprising fact is that the dish itself is relatively young.
E. Today, tomato and egg are both universal and deeply personal.
F. Yet the next day, I reheated it, paired it with steamed rice, and ate up the whole thing.
G. For years, I made mine with the cheapest supermarket tomatoes I could find in Germany.
