Do you know Meerkats (猫鼬)? They are small. Their bodies are about 29cm long. They mainly live in the dry areas in Africa, with enemies everywhere. So how do Meerkats stay alive in such a challenging environment?
Well, they have developed many skills: They’re good at hunting; they can see enemies from far away. But the most important thing is that they live and work together as a team.
Meerkats live underground in groups. Everyone has a role to play. Usually, one Meerkat watches for enemies, and the others are responsible (负责的) for tasks like looking after the baby Meerkats and looking for food. When danger comes, the guard Meerkat will make a loud warning sound so that all the others can run and hide. Sometimes, if there is a direct fight, Meerkats will work together to drive away the enemies.
Meerkats show the importance of teamwork. It is the key to their safety and survival (生存) in the wild. They show us that together we are stronger. For humans, teams are groups of people with different skills. They work toward a common goal. When everyone in a team uses their own strengths, the team can achieve more.

In the Western world, Chinese takeout (外卖) is a popular kind of food. Delivered to your house in small square boxes, it comes with rice and delicious cookies. It is a great choice if you feel lazy and don’t want to cook or go out to eat.

In the United States, among Chinese food, people love eating hotpot and roujiamo best. In Russia, hundreds of tanghulu can be sold in just a few hours. Latiao is even appearing in overseas classrooms. A lot of these foods are similar to Western foods. This may explain why they make foreigners focus on them. For example, roujiamo is similar to hamburgers. Youtiao is kind of like the churro (西班牙油条), a snack that is popular in Spain. And tanghulu is similar to candy apples, which are loved by children in the UK.
Chinese people who live abroad introduced most of these foods. Some of them are new, like Latiao. Some of them have been popular in foreign countries for many years.

In the Western world, Chinese takeout (外卖) is a popular kind of food. Delivered to your house in small square boxes, it comes with rice and delicious cookies. It is a great choice if you feel lazy and don’t want to cook or go out to eat.
But this kind of Chinese food isn’t authentic (地道的). In fact, it is very different from real Chinese food. Now over the years, real Chinese dishes have become more popular in foreign countries as well.
“Some of these dishes were familiar to us, while others were new and mysterious. But one thing is for sure: We had a lot of fun eating them.” Jack from London says.
66.What can Jack do if he doesn’t want to do some cooking?
A.Read cooking books. B.Order Chinese takeout.

67.What do Americans like eating best?

69.What’s the text mainly about?

C.Foreign views of Chinese foods. D.Foreigners’ favorite food.
