pleasure(快乐、愉悦)符合语境;advice(建议)、help(帮助)、wealth(财富)均与“演奏音乐给家人带来的感受”不匹配。
shine(发光、闪耀)符合语境;smile(微笑)、spin(旋转)、speak(说话)均无法体现“因自豪而神采飞扬”的状态。
Although(虽然)引导让步状语从句,符合逻辑;If(如果)、Whether(是否)、Because(因为)均不符合转折逻辑。
手指受伤会直接影响演奏的能力,ability(能力)符合语境;courage(勇气)、confidence(信心)、energy(精力)均不是手指受伤直接影响的核心要素。
unwilling(不愿意的)贴合“找借口推脱”的状态。
Finally(最后、最终)符合“多次恳求后才同意”的逻辑。
realizing(意识到)符合语境。
strength(力量)可以体现父亲的品质。
treasure(珍视、珍藏) 贴合“珍贵礼物”的情感。
giving(给予、付出)符合全文主旨。

Do you believe one person can sing two pitches (音调) at the same time? This is Khoomei (呼麦), or Mongolian throat singing, a special art form of the Mongolian ethnic group (蒙古族).
A Khoomei singer uses his or her voice in a special way to produce two or more pitches at the same time. The singer creates a low, deep sound from the throat as the base. At the same time, the singer changes the shape of the mouth and where the tongue is, a high whistle-like sound comes out on top. The distance between the low and high sounds can be as wide as six octaves (八度)!
Khoomei dates back to about 2,300 years ago. At that time, ancient people hunted and lived as nomads (牧民) on the grassland. They heard the sounds of nature—waterfalls, wind, and animals. They believed that by imitating the sounds, they could connect with nature and the universe. This was the beginning of Khoomei.
Khoomei became popular during the 13th century on the Mongolian grassland. In the 20th century, it almost disappeared in some places. But since the 1980s, people in Inner Mongolia have worked hard to bring it back. Today, more young musicians are mixing Khoomei with modern music, and it is winning fans all over the world.
In 2009, UNESCO added it to the list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity Khoomei is more than just singing. It is a window into the Mongolian people’s spirit and reflects their love for nature.
