一、比较级和最高级的构成

 

二、不规则变化（中考必背！）

 

注意：farther指"距离上更远"，further还可指"程度上更进一步"（further study进一步研究）

 

三、比较级基本句型

1. A + be + 比较级 + than + B：A比B更……

   -- Tom is taller than Mike. / This book is more interesting than that one.

2. 比较级 + than any other + 单数名词：比任何别的都……（用比较级表达最高级意义）

   -- He is taller than any other student in his class.（= He is the tallest student in his class.）

 

3. 比较级句型修饰语：much, even, still, a little, a lot, far 等可以放在比较级前加强语气。

   -- This movie is much more interesting than that one.

   -- She is even taller than her brother.

 

4. "the + 比较级，the + 比较级"：越……越……

   -- The more you read, the more you learn.

   -- The harder you work, the luckier you will be.

 

5. "比较级 + and + 比较级"：越来越……

   -- The weather is getting hotter and hotter.

   -- Our city is becoming more and more beautiful.

 

四、最高级基本句型

1. A + be + the + 最高级 + in / of / among...：A是……中最……的

   -- She is the best student in our class.

   -- This is the most beautiful city that I have ever visited.

 

2. one of + the + 最高级 + 复数名词：最……的之一

   -- The Great Wall is one of the most famous places in China.

 

3. the + 序数词 + 最高级：第……最……的

   -- The Yangtze River is the third longest river in the world.

 

五、同级比较

1. as + 原级 + as：和……一样

   -- He is as tall as his brother. / She runs as fast as me.

 

2. not as / so + 原级 + as：不如……
