Have you ever been troubled by a loud noise while studying for a big exam? That’s exactly what happened to some students at Shenzhen Bao’an Middle School. A bird called the koel (噪鹃) was singing loudly outside their windows, day and night. As gaokao was coming soon, a stressed student wrote a letter to the head teacher.
