The Power of Teamwork
Last term, our school held a basketball game, and I learned a valuable lesson about teamwork. Our team was not the strongest, but we practiced hard together. During the final game, we followed our plan and passed the ball to each other selflessly.
At one critical moment, I had a chance to shoot, but my position was not good. I remembered our training and passed the ball to my teammate, Li Ming, who was wide open. He scored the winning shot! Everyone cheered.
This experience taught me that teamwork is not about being a star alone. It is about trusting each other and working towards a common goal. Together, we are stronger.

根据短文内容,判断正误 (正确"T",错误"F") 。
Do you know the “Sky Net” system? It is a huge project in China, just like a big safety net for our forests and parks. Yunnan Province, known as the “Kingdom of Plants and Animals”, is using this high technology to protect its rich natural resources.
In the past, forest protectors had to walk through mountains and forests for hours to check if there was a fire or if someone was cutting down trees illegally (非法地). This work was very hard and sometimes dangerous. But now, things have changed greatly. The “Sky Net” system uses satellites (卫星) and drones (无人机) with high-tech cameras. These cameras can see the forests from high up in the sky.
The “Sky Net” can find a small campfire in a huge forest within minutes. It can also notice any changes in the greenness of the plants. If a tree is sick, its leaves change color, and the “Sky Net” will catch this information immediately. Then, it sends messages to the mobile phones of forest protectors, telling them exactly where to go to check the problem.
Thanks to this smart technology, the beautiful mountains and the rare animals like the golden monkeys in Yunnan are now under 24-hour protection. “Sky Net” truly is a pair of shining “eyes in the sky” for our Mother Nature.
21. The “Sky Net” system is a project to build a huge fishing net.
22. In the past, protecting forests in Yunnan was an easy job.
23. Drones and satellites are the key tools for the “Sky Net” system.

In the mountains of Pu'er, Yunnan, lives a young woman named Naixin. She is not a famous scientist or a star, but she is a “guardian” of a 100-year-old tea tree. Her story, which has become popular online, shows the deep connection between people and nature.
Years ago, many villagers left to find work in big cities, hoping for a better life. Naixin also went to work in a factory in Guangdong. However, she often felt lonely in the noisy city. She missed the fresh smell of the morning mist, the singing of birds, and especially the sweet taste of the tea made from her family's old tea tree.
One day, she saw a video online showing that some ancient tea trees were being cut down to make room for faster-growing plants. She felt a sharp pain in her heart. “If these trees disappear, a part of our history and culture will disappear too,” she thought. Finally, she made a big decision: she would go back to her village.
Naixin returned and started to take care of the old tea tree. She learned scientific ways to protect it from pests (害虫) without using chemicals. She also used the Internet to sell the tea. She told stories of the tree, the village, and the Dai people’s tea culture on social media. People were deeply touched by her stories and the pure taste of the tea.
Now, more young people in the village have returned to work with Naixin. They are protecting the old tea forests and building a new, green future. Naixin’s story tells us that instead of running away from home, young people can return home to create value while protecting their cultural roots.

Have you ever seen a building that can “eat” smog (雾霾)? Or a robot that can pick a fragile strawberry without crushing it? These are not scenes from a science fiction movie. They are real inventions from China, created by the new generation of “craftsmen” (工匠) who combine traditional skills with modern technology.
Take Yang Zhenyuan for example. He is a “post-95s” (95后) craftsman. He uses 3D printing to repair ancient cultural relics (文物). In the past, repairing a broken pottery figurine (陶俑) might take months. Craftsmen had to be very careful. Now, Yang uses a 3D scanner to create a digital model of the missing part. Then, a 3D printer prints it out perfectly. This new technology greatly improves the quality and speed of repairing. “Respecting tradition is important, but using modern tools is not a betrayal (背弃); it’s progress,” Yang says.
Another example is a “smart” greenhouse in Shandong. This greenhouse is equipped with sensors (传感器) and an AI system. It can automatically adjust the temperature, humidity, and even the amount of fertilizer (肥料). The vegetables grown here are healthier and use 50% less water than traditional farms.
The spirit of craftsmanship in China is changing. It no longer only means staying in a small room and doing the same task for 40 years. Today, it means solving real-world problems by using new knowledge and tools. This new generation of craftsmen is proud of their work. They are using “Chinese Wisdom” to build a more beautiful, efficient, and sustainable world. Their work shows the world the power of creative and responsible innovation.
36. What does the writer mean by saying a building can “eat” smog in paragraph 1?
A. The building is made of smog. B. The building can clean the air.
C. The building looks like smog. D. The building produces smog.
37. How does Yang Zhenyuan repair ancient relics?
A. By working for months very carefully. B. By using 3D printing technology.
C. By copying the old methods exactly. D. By asking for help from foreign experts.
38. What is the advantage of the “smart” greenhouse mentioned in the passage?
A. It uses more water. B. It requires more workers.
C. It saves water. D. It grows vegetables only in winter.
39. What is the new spirit of Chinese craftsmanship according to the passage?
A. Doing the same task for 40 years. B. Staying in a small room to focus.
C. Solving problems with new knowledge and tools. D. Making products as fast as possible.
40. What is the main purpose of the last paragraph?
A. To introduce the history of craftsmanship.
B. To show the writer’s doubts about new technology.
C. To list more problems in modern factories.
D. To summarize the new meaning and value of craftsmanship.
第三节 (共5小题: 每小题1.5分, 满分7.5分)
根据短文内容,从短文后所给的选项中选出能填入空白处的最佳选项。选项中有两项为多余选项。
Are you interested in learning a foreign language but find it difficult to remember new words and grammar rules? You are not alone. Many students feel the same way. 41 By making a few simple changes, you can learn a new language more easily and quickly.
◆Learn like a baby.
Think about how a baby learns to speak. A baby listens, tries to say sounds, and makes lots of mistakes. 42 Don’t be afraid of making mistakes. Your goal is to communicate, not to be perfect.
◆Use your “dead time”.
“Dead time” refers to the time when you are doing something that doesn’t require much thinking, like waiting for a bus or doing housework. 43 For example, you can listen to a language learning podcast (播客) while you are on a bus.
◆Make it a daily habit.
Studying for 5 hours in one day is less helpful than studying for 20 minutes every day. Your brain learns better when it practices a little bit each day. 44 It’s better to connect language learning with a daily activity, like eating breakfast or brushing your teeth.
◆Connect pictures with words.
Most people are visual learners (视觉学习者). 45 When you learn a new word, like “apple”, don’t just repeat the word. Picture a red, juicy apple in your mind. This creates a stronger memory than simply memorizing it from a list.
A. But babies don’t give up.
B. You can use this time to listen to the language.
C. It is important to write down every new word.
D. The good news is that there are ways to make it easier.
E. Make the new word come alive in your mind.
F. Never use a dictionary.
