【解析】
【导语】本文是一篇记叙文,讲述了“我”从四岁起克服语言障碍、坚持学习英语并取得优异成绩的经历,传递了“只要用心,没有什么是困难的”的道理。
【1题详解】
句意:四岁上学时,我连一个英语单词都不懂。
根据后文“I only know Spanish, and English is just a mixture (混合) of sounds.”可知,作者只会西班牙语,对英语完全陌生,因此应选 English“英语”。French“法语”、Vietnamese“越南语”、Spanish“西班牙语”均与后文语境矛盾。
【2题详解】
句意:我感到很孤独,因为我无法和其他孩子交朋友。
根据“couldn’t make friends with other kids”可知,无法交友会带来孤独感,应选lonely“孤独的”。happy“开心的”、funny“有趣的”、calm“平静的”均不符合无法交友的消极语境。
【3题详解】
句意:也许我很害羞,所以我从不习惯和别人说话。
根据“never got used to talking with others”可知,不习惯与人交谈通常源于性格害羞,应选shy“害羞的”。
根据“a tornado ripping ____ my mind”的语境,龙卷风式的冲击是“穿过”大脑内部,应选through“穿过(内部)”。outside“在外面”、across“横穿(表面)”、beside“在旁边”均无法体现龙卷风的穿透感。
【6题详解】
句意:我无法理解(老师说的话)。
根据前文描述,作者完全听不懂老师的英语,因此是“无法理解”,应选unable“无法”。unusual“不寻常的”、unhealthy“不健康的”、uncomfortable“不舒服的”均不符合“听不懂语言”的核心困境。
【7题详解】
句意:我很困惑,不知道该怎么办,有时我想哭。
根据“confused and didn’t know what to do”的无助情绪,最直接的反应是想哭,应选crying“哭”。laughing“笑”、fighting“打架”、leaving“离开”均与无助困惑的情绪不符。
【8题详解】
句意:妈妈温柔地看着我,告诉我要有耐心。
根据后文“Learning takes time and effort.”可知,妈妈强调学习需要时间,因此劝作者要有耐心,应选patient“有耐心的”。brave“勇敢的”、trustworthy“可信的”、honest“诚实的”均与“学习需要时间”的语境无关。
【9题详解】
句意:为了让学习变得有趣,妈妈和我一起唱英文歌,给我讲英文故事。
根据后文“I started to find English full of fun.”可知,妈妈的目的是让学习变得有趣,应选interesting“有趣的”。clear“清晰的”、perfect“完美的”、important“重要的”均不符合“通过唱歌讲故事让学习有乐趣”的语境。
【10题详解】
句意:他的一点点进步真的给我带来了小小的成就感。
根据“offered him help”和“His little progress”可知,帮助他人取得进步会带来成就感,应选achievement“成就”。
根据前文“speak out English”和“learning more and more every year”可知,两人最终都成了英语说得很好的人,应选speakers“说某种语言的人”。listeners“听众”、writers“作家”、singers“歌手”均与“说英语”的语境无关。
【13题详解】
句意:是什么让我这么优秀?我从不放弃。
根据前文妈妈鼓励“not to give up”和作者一直坚持学习的经历,核心原因是从不放弃,应选give up“放弃”。cheer up“振作起来”、pick up“捡起/学会”、take up“开始从事”均与“坚持学习取得成功”的核心无关。
【14题详解】
句意:日语可能有点难,但我会继续学下去。
根据语境,此处修饰形容词difficult,应选a little bit“有点儿”,可直接修饰形容词。a number of “许多”修饰可数名词复数、a bit of “一点”修饰名词、a few“一些”修饰可数名词复数,均无法修饰形容词difficult。
【15题详解】
句意:世上无难事,只怕有心人。
根据全文主旨,作者用自己的经历证明只要用心,没有什么困难的事,应选Nothing“没有什么”。Something“某事”、Everything“一切”、Anything“任何事”均不符合“用心则无难事”的核心观点。

In a dark bedroom, a teenager lies on the bed, holding his phone and scrolling (滚动) the screen. Video after video appears-funny jokes, dances, and challenges. He laughs quietly and shares a few videos with friends. Time passes quickly as he keeps scrolling, thinking, “Just one more,” but he can’t seem to stop.
As teens today become more connected with social media, they are also becoming addicted. A social media platform has made it worse. From jokes to cosplay to science, the app has it all. With its continuous (连续不断的) scrolling, music and joy never stops. You could never call it boring.
Some researchers wondered what influence such a fun app might have on teens. A research team interviewed 31 teens between the ages of 13 and 18. Nearly all said they had at least one social media account (账户). The study team noted that more than 60% of the teens said they regularly used the app. “The main reason is that the app is really good at connecting teens with content that is interesting to them, and that they can enjoy with their friends,” one researcher said.
At the same time, the researchers also found some teens were uncomfortable with the addictive nature of the app. In addition, some teens said that the app’s videos of many seemingly perfect faces and perfect lives could hurt their self-respect.
So how can teenagers avoid those bad influences? They can control their addictive habits by reducing their screen time. Choose a certain time as their “social media time”. They can also put their phones down for a few minutes and enjoy the real world. Take a walk, meet up with friends, and choose to make it a phone-less adventure. It may be difficult, but teenagers can do it.

第三段“Nearly all said they had at least one social media account.”可知,几乎所有人都有至少一个社交媒体账号。A项“大多数没有”错误;C项“超过60%感到不适”与原文“some teens were uncomfortable”不符;D项“没有青少年高兴”错误。

C
On April 3, 2025, more than 2,300 students and teachers from Guyuan City in Ningxia started their yearly 54-kilometer walk. They did this to show their respects to the soldiers who tried to free the region. This year is the 30th year of the “walking ideological and political education class (行走的思政课)”. It started in 1995 and has inspired more than 30,000 students.
The walk starts before sunrise. The people taking part carry white flowers they made by hand and sing songs like Unity Means Power (《团结就是力量》). They walk on muddy mountain paths to Renshanhe Martyrs’ Cemetery (任山河烈士陵园). 391 soldiers were buried there. Many of them were only 18 to 25 years old. The walk is difficult. People often face rain, snow and tiredness.
This activity combines history with practical learning. Students write poems for the martyrs and act out historical stories in lessons. At the cemetery, they clean the tombstones and read the names of the dead soldiers. One student said, “Touching the cold stones made me know what sacrifice (牺牲) really means.”
Over the years, this walk has become a national model for education. Schools in China now organize trips like this. The live broadcasts in 2024-2025 attracted over 100 million viewers. New technologies, like “AI facial reconstructions of martyrs”, make students “talk” to historical figures, which makes the experience even better.
Many former students, like spacecraft designer Yan Qi, said the walk taught them to be strong and work as a team. Teachers said it helps students understand the cost of peace better.
This 30-year-old tradition shows that education is not just about books. It’s about feeling history with your feet and your heart. As a teacher said, “When students walk this path, they carry on memory and responsibility.”
26. What do participants (参与者) do during the walk?
A. They drive cars through mountain paths.
B. They carry machine-made flowers.
C. They study Maths problems together.
D. They sing songs like Unity Means Power.
27. How does the walk help students understand history better?
A. By letting them read history books on the way.
B. By making them write long essays after the walk.
C. By allowing them to touch the tombstones and clean them.
D. By asking them to draw pictures of the soldiers.
28. Why does the article mention “AI facial reconstructions of martyrs”?
A. To show that technology is more important than walking.
B. To explain how schools use new tools to make history more vivid.
C. To prove that all schools must use AI in education.
D. To describe a new game students play during the walk.
29. What makes this educational model different from regular history classes?
A. It mixes physical experience with emotional learning B. It uses more advanced technology
C. It has more students participating D. It receives government support
30. What is the main purpose of the passage?
A. To describe a hard physical activity. B. To introduce an innovative educational model.
C. To stress the importance of textbooks. D. To criticize traditional teaching methods.
【答案】26. D 27. C 28. B 29. A 30. B

Visiting a new place can be a scary experience because most people are not comfortable with English. So how can you keep away from this kind of situation? Learn how to speak English fluently. Here are several English speaking tips you must know.
Listen first
One of the best English speaking tips is to listen carefully to understandable English every day. Most people turn to textbooks to study English grammar rules, but you cannot learn how to pronounce correctly by reading them. Instead, listen to the pronunciation of native English speakers and watch the movements of their mouths.
Practise
Read aloud in English for 15-20 minutes a day in front of the mirror, which helps in accent reduction and improves your speaking skills.
Also, talking with a good English speaker can help improvise (即兴发挥) your usage of words and formation of sentences.
Think in English
If your goal is to speak English fluently, you need to think in English. Make up the sentences in English as you think about them before saying them. With practice, you can respond automatically in English.
Be more confident
Try to relax if you’re speaking in English. When you speak at a normal speed, you’ll discover that you’ll be able to pronounce the words correctly. Most of the time, the person who you are talking to doesn’t notice your mistakes.
