Take Zhang Chao as an example. He is from Anhui and now lives in the city. He loved planting when he lived with his grandpa in the countryside. His grandpa used to plant vegetables in their garden. Wu Yanni Makes History
On March 23, 2025, Chinese runner Wu Yanni did something special at the World Athletics Indoor Championships (世界田径室内锦标赛) in Nanjing. In the 60m hurdles semifinals (跨栏半决赛), she finished in 8.01 seconds.
Although Wu didn’t enter the final. she broke China’s 11-year national record of 8.02 seconds. This also made her the fastest hurdler in Asia!
Wu never stops and she works very hard. Since 2018, she has won five national championships. Last year, she improved her time from 8.15 seconds to 8.06.
Improving by even 0.01 seconds is really hard. To get better, Wu trained hard. She did a lot of exercise and practiced her starting speed. In the semifinals, her start was the third fastest among eight hurdlers.

Wang Jibing is a 55-year-old delivery (投递) man living and working in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province. One day in 2019, Wang was unhappy. A customer left a wrong address. In cities, farming is changing. Now, farms can be found in city balconies (阳台), too. A lot of people are buying more vegetable seeds, soil and tools for gardening. Most of these people are young and were born after 1995.

Wu Yanni Makes History
On March 23, 2025, Chinese runner Wu Yanni did something special at the World Athletics Indoor Championships (世界田径室内锦标赛) in Nanjing. In the 60m hurdles semifinals (跨栏半决赛), she finished in 8.01 seconds.
Although Wu didn’t enter the final. she broke China’s 11-year national record of 8.02 seconds. This also made her the fastest hurdler in Asia!
Wu never stops and she works very hard. Since 2018, she has won five national championships. Last year, she improved her time from 8.15 seconds to 8.06.
