I’m Kara. I live and eat in trees. It takes me about four hours to eat. Then I sleep for about 20 hours a day. Many people like me because I’m so cute. But I can’t be your pet. You are welcome to see me in Australia.

Nowadays, the transportation (交通运输) is more and more convenient (便利的) for people. There are many ways of transportation for you to choose from.

Many people like to travel by plane, but I don’t like it because the airport (飞机场) is usually far from the city. You have to get there early and wait for hours for the plane to take off and it is often late. You can’t open the windows. You can’t choose the food. Planes are fast but people still need hours to go out of the airport and into the city.

I like travelling by train. I think trains are safe. Railway stations are usually in cities. When you are late for a train, you can catch another one. You can walk around on the train and open the windows. It takes a little more time, but you can see many interesting things on your way.

I also like cars. You can start your journey at any time without having to go to a railway station or a bus stop. You can also carry many things with you in a car. But sometimes there are too many cars on the road.

In fact, the choice (选择) of transportation depends on your need.

Many children like to go hiking (徒步旅行). Why? Because they can be free from school and their homework. They can also see beautiful views (风景), play with friends or families and so on. If you want to go for a hike, how can you have a happy one?

First, the weather must be fine. Fine weather is the most important for a happy hike. If the weather is fine, you can do a lot of things, like going bike riding and swimming in the river.

Second, go with the people you like. If you go hiking with the people you don’t like, you won’t have a great time.

Third, find the right place. Different people have different ideas about the places. For me, I would like to go for a hike at the seaside.
