Dear viewers, a total solar eclipse will occur nine twenty six AM tomorrow, wednesday, the twenty second of july. Today was an amazing day. There was a total solar eclipse in wun. I woke up early because I couldn't wait to see IT. My friends and I went down to the yancy river to find a good place to watch IT. We took cameras, chairs, food and drink and special glasses so we could look at IT. Lots of people gathered there to watch too. Slowly, the moon moved in front of the sun. IT looked like someone bit a hole in the sun. IT got darker and darker as the moon slowly covered the sun. At nine twenty six A. M, the moon completely covered the sun. The sky went dark. The crowd gasped and cheered. The light of the sun made a ring of light around the moon. I took this photograph. Then the total eclipse lasted for over five minutes. Then IT passed, and the sky started to get brighter again. I was really inspired by the eclipse this morning. In the afternoon, I spent hours reading about astronomer's eclipses and how the planets move in our solar system. The universe is simply amazing. I also watch some videos with famous chinese astronauts. I wanna become an astronaut or astronomer someday, too. The sky is the limit.

A Memorable Day
Last Sunday, I went to the park with my parents. It was a sunny day. When we arrived at the park, we saw many beautiful flowers and tall trees. We flew a kite together. The kite flew higher and higher in the blue sky. I was so excited. Then we had a picnic on the grass. We ate delicious food and shared some interesting stories.
This day is memorable because it was the first time that our family had so much fun in the park. We laughed and enjoyed the time together. It made me feel the warmth and happiness of my family.

It was a sunny day, and I decided to visit the local park. I saw children playing, flowers blooming, and squirrels darting around. I felt a sense of peace and joy, watching the world come alive. I spent time reading on a bench and feeding the ducks by the pond. It was a simple day, but it reminded me that happiness can be found in the smallest moments. I learned to appreciate the beauty around us and to slow down and enjoy life.

Last summer, I visited the Badaling section of the Great Wall with my parents. It was an unforgettable experience. Seeing the wall go through the mountains like a dragon was really amazing. Many tourists from around the world were there, admiring this ancient marvel.
Climbing the steps, I felt proud of our Chinese culture.
It was amazing to think how people built it thousands of years ago. I felt excited and a bit tired, but the sense of accomplishment was huge.
This visit taught me about the history and wisdom of our ancestors. It inspired me to learn more about Chinese heritage. The Great Wall is a symbol of our nation’s strength and resilience, and I will never forget it.

In the afternoon, I spent hours reading about astronomers, eclipses and how the planets move in our solar system. The universe is simply amazing. I also watched some videos with famous chinese astronauts. I want to become an astronaut or astronomers someday too. The sky is the limit.
A solar eclipse happens when the moon comes between the earth and the sun. Because the moon is in front of the sun, IT hides a part or all of the sun. Even though the sun is four hundred times wider than the moon, it's also four hundred times farther away. Because of that, the sun and moon look like they are the same size to us. In a total solar eclipse, the moon completely covers the sun. If you're in the right place, you won't see the sun at all. Although an eclipse can last a few hours, totality usually doesn't last more than three minutes. We interrupt this video for an important safety announcement. Looking directly at the sun can hurt your eyes. This is true even during an eclipse. Luckily, there are a few ways to watch in a clip safely. The easiest way is to wear special eclipse watching glasses. These glasses are much, much darker than your usual sunglasses. Another way to watch the eclipse is to use a pinhole viewer first, make a hole in a piece of cardboard, hold the cardboard up to the sun, let the sunlight shine through the hole, and land on a second piece of cardboard. You can see the sun there. Once the moon completely covers the sun, IT will be too dark to see anything through the eclipse glasses. This stage of a total solar eclipse is called totality. It's safe to look at the sun during totality, but remember, if you're using eclipse glasses rather than a pinhole viewer, put your glasses back on before any sunlight appears. Again, any sunlight reaching your eyes, even for a few seconds, can hurt your eyes badly. During a total solar eclipse, animals and plants sometimes behave differently. Birds may stop singing, crickets may stop carping, and flowers may start to close up. Every year or two, a total solar eclipse takes place somewhere on earth, but it's rare to see one from the same place. Do you know when your country last experiences the total solar eclipse?
