In 2026, I chose to drive back to Beijing after the holiday, which provided me with the chance to join the yearly “trunk (后备箱)-filling competition” that took place at the end of the Spring Festival. The night before I left, my parents were busy planning how to maximize the space in my car’s trunk. They carefully chose and packed things they thought I would need or enjoy back in the city. From homemade dishes like meatballs prepared during the holiday to fresh vegetables and fruit from local farms, they filled every part of the trunk. They even included some condiments (调味品) in the trunk, because they thought I couldn’t easily buy them in Beijing. On my return trip, almost every expressway (高速公路) service area was crowded with cars. As drivers opened their trunks, the colourful bags inside caught my eye. One driver, Xiaohao, who was returning to Tianjin, said his car was filled with all kinds of fresh vegetables grown by his family. “It’s not that I can’t buy them in the city. It’s that this shows my family’s love,” he explained. Later, while surfing the Internet, I found that many people were also joining the “trunk-filling competition” and sharing photos of their trunks. These trunks were mostly filled with local specialties and homemade foods. Driving back with a trunk full of homemade foods, I couldn’t help but feel a deep sense of thankfulness. They were not just things—they were pieces of home, signs of love, and sources of comfort for the year ahead. 26.Where did the writer go after the Spring Festival holiday? A. To Tianjin. B. To Beijing. C. To his hometown. D. To a service area. 27.What did the writer’s parents pack in the trunk? A. All kinds of food. B. Colorful bags of clothes. C. Local toys and books. D. They carried his family’s care. 29.How did the writer feel when driving back with a full trunk? A. Special. B. Thankful. C. Nervous. D. Careful. 30.What can we learn about the “trunk-filling competition”? A. It is only popular in certain provinces. B. It is a new trend started by young people. C. It reflects the love within Chinese families. D. It can cause traffic problems on highways. C In today’s world, where over 4 billion people own a smartphone, charging (充电) our phones has become part of our daily life — just like brushing your teeth or getting dressed in the morning. But over time, batteries (电池) stop working well, and a phone that used to last all day may suddenly need charging all the time. The problem lies in how we charge our phones. Modern smartphones use lithium-ion (锂离子) batteries, which last for about 500 charges, or two to three years. Unfortunately, most smartphones don’t have batteries that are easy to change. So when a battery starts failing, many people just buy a new phone, which creates waste. To help reduce the growing problem of electronic waste and cut down on unnecessary phone replacements, the European Union (EU) officially passed a groundbreaking law requiring all mobile phone companies to make phone batteries easily removable and simple for users to change by 2027. But what can be done until then to keep your phone’s battery healthy? One big mistake is always charging your phone to 100%. Keeping it charged at 100% strains (损耗) the battery and makes it wear out faster. Instead, try to keep the battery between 20% and 80%. Letting a phone get too hot can also harm the battery. And using your phone while charging makes it heat up, which wears out the battery faster. If you’re charging your phone while you sleep, keep it on a hard, cool surface — not under a quilt — to stop it from overheating. Experts also strongly warn that you shouldn’t use cheap chargers, because they are usually poorly made and may easily overheat your phone, even causing safety risks. Therefore, it’s always best to use the charger that came with the phone when you need to charge it. Small changes in how you charge your phone can make a big difference, helping your battery last longer, and reducing waste. 31.What causes phone batteries to work worse over time? A. Improper charging habits. B. Too many phone users. C. People’s busy daily life. D. Long hours of phone use. 32.What is paragraph 2 mainly about? A. The popularity of smartphones. B. The history of lithium-ion batteries. C. Lithium-ion batteries and charges. D. Battery waste and new related rules. 33.How many ways are mentioned to keep a phone battery healthy? A. Three. B. Four. C. Five. D. Six. 34.Which way is good for phone batteries? A. Always charge the phone to 100%. B. Use the phone while charging it. C. Keep battery level between 20% and 80%. D. Put the phone under a quilt when charging. 35.What can be a suitable title for the text? A. The Development of Mobile Phones. B. The History of Smartphone Batteries. C. How to Choose a Better Phone Charger. D. How to Make Your Phone Battery Last Longer. D As we all know, the “electric three-wheeler” is quite popular in the countryside. Although it looks vulgar (庸俗的), it’s cheap indeed with good quality. It has been said that life without an “electric three-wheeler” ride on a winding road is not beautiful enough. Not long ago, it even became popular in other countries. Last December, a video blogger named “@Bobo in the US” ordered an “electric three-wheeler” from China. It took two months for it to cross the ocean and finally reach the United States, where it was given by the blogger to her father-in-law. It seems that the wind of “backing up, please pay attention” is finally blowing on the American land. Many people asked the blogger’s father for the link (链接) to buy it, and it has become such a matchless object. Out of expectation, the price of such an “electric three-wheeler” skyrocketed when it arrived in the US. One surprising thing is that the “electric three-wheeler” actually went abroad a few years ago, but it was restricted from entering the cities mainly because it “could not get a license plate reasonably”. But it didn’t stop the foreigners from buying them. Short videos help foreigners enjoy its charm (魅力), but its rapid sales growth abroad doesn’t only depend on short videos. There are some practical factors (因素). First, the culture of pickup truck is quite strong in the US. Americans find electric three-wheelers far more cost-effective than expensive pickup trucks. Second, its small size allows easy travel on narrow European city roads and saves parking time. Third, the development of international online shopping lays a foundation for it to shine abroad. Therefore, the reason why the “electric three-wheeler” is popular abroad is that it meets the needs of the local people. Although it still has some problems, it makes us full of confidence in “made in China” products. We look forward to more “made in China” products stepping out of the country, and into the world. 36.Why is the electric three-wheeler popular in the countryside? A. It can run very fast on roads. B. It looks beautiful and easy to drive. C. It is good for the environment. D. It is inexpensive and of good quality. 37.What is the purpose of paragraph 2? A. To introduce a personal story of a video blogger. B. To show electric three-wheelers’ popularity abroad. C. To explain how to buy electric three-wheelers online. D. To prove that foreign people dislike Chinese products. 38.Which best explains the underlined word “restricted” in paragraph 3? A. Ordered. B. Accepted. C. Controlled. D. Produced. 39.What can we learn about three-wheelers from the text ? A. Three-wheelers are very suitable for foreign users. B. Electric three-wheelers are sold at low prices abroad. C. Short videos are the main cause of the sales growth abroad. D. European cities build wide roads for electric three-wheelers. 40.What is the main idea of the text? A. Describe how to drive a three-wheeler. B. Introduce the advantages of three-wheelers. C. A video blogger helped sell Chinese products. D. Chinese electric three-wheelers are welcome overseas. 第二节 阅读七选五(共 5 个小题:每小题 2 分,满分 10 分) 阅读下面短文,从短文后的选项中选出能填入空白处的最佳选项。选项中有两项为多余选项。 Everyone wants to look great in pictures, but it can sometimes be a little hard to know what will make you look your best. Luckily, there are a few quick tricks that can help you feel more confident in any photo. 41 When you’re taking a professional headshot or a photo where you need to look serious, try to sit or stand so your face is turned toward the brightest light in the room. That way, there won’t be any shadows obscuring (遮掩) your face in the finished photo. 42 If you feel nervous in front of the camera, that’s going to show in your photos. Looking great in selfies (自拍) Hold the camera lightly above your eye level. 43 That will give you a wide-eyed, fresh look that’s picture-perfect. Look for interesting backgrounds to include in your selfies. 44 Instead, take selfies in a wide variety of different places, and try to include at least a little of the background in the frame (镜头). That way, every selfie will offer something new to the viewer—and it’s a great way to keep record of your favorite experiences, too! Shooting outdoors When you’re taking pictures outside, it gives you a unique chance to incorporate (融合) the natural world into your shoot. Try taking a picture where you are smelling a beautiful flower or climbing up on a nearby large rock. Remember to always keep an eye on your safety. Try big, bold (大胆的) poses to make the most of the space. You can run, jump, throw your arms up in the air, and interact with the world around you. 45 A. Posing for professional photos. B. Take several deep breaths to relax. C. Don’t just recreate the same shoot all the time. D. Good light is not necessary for beautiful photos. E. Here are some tips for taking professional photos. F.
