Hi everyone! I’m Steven from the UK. I travel around the world, looking for our planet’s most beautiful places. That’s why I’m here in Xizang, China.

So, what makes Namtso Lake so special? It’s over 4,700 metres above sea level. That makes it the highest saltwater lake in the world. No wonder the name Namtso means “sky lake” in the local language. Up here, I feel like I could reach up and touch the clouds! There’s more to this lake than its height. The lake is a natural wonder. The water is clear and blue. And look at the snowy mountains in the distance! How beautiful! Because this lake is so high in the mountains, it’s a little cold right now, even though it’s summer. The wind can get very strong at this lake too. You can really feel the power of nature here.
Tonight, I’m going to stay at a hotel nearby because I want to watch the sunset over the lake. At sunrise and sunset, the sky and the water turn red and golden. If you ask me, there’s no better time to see the beauty of this amazing lake.

Have you ever heard of Liubao? Or have you ever been there before? Liubao is a town in the southwest of China. It sits in Wuzhou, Guangxi. People know the town because of its dark tea. Liubao tea is considered one of the best in our country and it was served to Emperor Jiaqing during the Qing Dynasty.
Why do people like Liubao tea so much? Experts say that Liubao is a wonderful place for tea production. The high quality tea is due to(归结于) the suitable weather conditions, enough sunshine, special soil and the elevation(海拔) which is about 600 metres above sea level.
Each year in late October, villagers are busy picking tea. There is little rainwater and the tea leaves are considered to be the best because of the temperature difference between day and night at this time of year. Many tourists also come to the town to experience the special life then. They do what the villagers do: carry a bamboo basket on their shoulders and pick tea leaves. After hours’ work, they usually relax by drinking a cup of tea, tired but happy.
The government has developed tea and tourism over the years. From 2017 to 2020, the tea production went from 2,600 tons to 4,180 tons in that three-year period, with output value(产值) more than doubling from 310 million to 670 million yuan. My name is Amy. I’m going to make a fruit salad this afternoon. Now, my friend’s Suzy is telling me what to use to make a fruit salad. According to Suzy, people use fruit like apples, strawberries and grapes. I’d like to use watermelons as well. Suzy says I’d better not use watermelons, because they have too much water. She advises me to add bananas if I like. She says I should use fruits of different colours and try to make my fruit salad look as good as it tastes. For example, if I make red apples, green pears, black grapes and oranges together, my fruit salad will look very colourful. Of course, I should prepare the fruit salad just before I am going to eat it. Some of the fruits will quickly turn brown when people leave them in the air for some time.

There are many beautiful cities in China. Among them, I would like to introduce Beijing .
As the capital of China, Beijing lies in the northern part of the country. It has amazing beautiful landscapes, such as the Great Wall and the Summer Palace. When you walk in Beihai Park, you can see lovely squirrels jumping in the trees and cute pigeons flying over the lakes. These animal friends make the ancient city feel warm and lively. Besides, you can also try delicious local food like Beijing roast duck.
I choose Beijing because it perfectly mixes rich history, wonderful views and cute animals. It’s a city full of charm!
There are many beautiful cities in China. Among them, I would like to introduce Guilin to you .
Guilin lies in the south of China. It is famous for its beautiful landscapes—the strange-shaped mountains and the clear Li River look like a traditional Chinese ink painting. When you take a boat trip along the river, you can see colorful fish swimming in the river and little birds singing in the bamboo forests. These animal friends make the quiet scenery more lively. Don’t forget to try Guilin rice noodles, the most popular local food there.
I choose Guilin because of its natural beauty. It shows the magic of China’s nature and helps people feel relaxed and peaceful.
