第一节范文:
Dear Ms.Jenkins,
I'm writing with great enthusiasm regarding the upcoming"English Zones"project. To bring the spirit of
sharing fully to life,I'd like to suggest structuring the room around three dedicated zones.
First,a Resource Sharing Area could feature shelves stocked with English novels, graded readers, and
magazines. This would encourage students not only to borrow materials, but to recommend and discuss them
with peers.Second,a Collaboration Corner-with movable tables and whiteboards-could be designated for
group tasks,debate circles,or project brainstorming,promoting teamwork in a flexible setting.Finally,a
Showcase Wall, which turns the wall into a living gallery of shared inspiration, would allow students to
display their own writing, artwork,or cultural projects in English.
Together, these zones would transform the space into a true community of learners. And I'm eager to
help in any way as the project moves forward.
Warm regards,
Li Hua
第二节范文:
Several days later, the principal invited him for a walk.He walked side by side with Tom in the quiet
campus garden.Noticing Tom's gloomy expression, the principal asked in a soft voice how he had been
getting along with his recent studies.Encouraged by his kindness,Tom opened up honestly, pouring out his
frustration about the constant bird chirps that ruined his concentration.Instead of blaming his narrow-minded
idea, the principal listened attentively and comforted him with a warm smile. He patiently explained that all
living creatures deserved respect, and true self-discipline lay in calming one's mind against outer distractions
rather than simply removing them. His gentle words and sincere communication slowly melted away Tom's
irritation and made him lost in thought.
英语试题参考答案第1页(共7页)
Moved and enlightened,Tom followed the principal's advice.Tom gradually changed his attitude and
adjusted his state of mind.He no longer regarded the birds'singing as annoying noise, but learned to
embrace the beauty of natural sounds.Whenever he sat down to study,he trained himself to stay focused and
shield his mind from minor disturbances.Little by little,he regained peace and efficiency in his study. This
small incident taught him a profound lesson:life is always filled with unavoidable troubles.Real growth does
not mean escaping difficulties, but learning to be tolerant, adjust actively and seek inner balance, which
would benefit him for a lifetime.

答案详解
A篇
2l.D细节理解题。根据文中“The two main reasons for food recalls are labeling errors and potential
pollution.Labeling errors deal with ingredients that might cause a serious allergic reaction-such as
egs,peanuts or shellfish-一but aren't listed on the package.”可知,未标注成分属于标签错误,会
导致食品召回。
22.C细节理解题。根据文中“TheU.S.Consumer Product Safety Commission(CPSC)enforces the
safety standards of products such as clothing, furniture, toys and recreational equipment."

一的入侵物种或许可以取代本土物种,并在短期内维持生态系统的某项功能;但在未来,一场
疫病就会轻而易举地将它彻底摧毁。Cuy用这个例子,就是为了反向论证:失去丰富的物种/

The first half of 2025 saw recalls (召回) of products as diverse as peanut butter crackers, chocolate, pet food, baby teething sticks, eye drops, waffles… the list goes on and on. So how do you know when something you use or eat might pose a risk? Here are key things to know about different types of recalls.
Food
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulates about three-quarters of the U. S. food supply — everything except most meat and certain fish and egg products, which are regulated by the U. S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).
The two main reasons for food recalls are labeling errors and potential pollution. Labeling errors deal with ingredients that might cause a serious allergic reaction — such as eggs, peanuts or shellfish — but aren’t listed on the package. Other recalls are because of possible pollution with bacteria or viruses that can cause food poisoning or other illness.
Links to recalls from the FDA and the USDA are available at FoodSafety.gov.
Clothing, Toys and Furniture
The U. S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) enforces the safety standards of products such as clothing, furniture, toys and recreational equipment.
The CPSC ensures that children’s clothing doesn’t go against flammability (可燃性) standards, toys don’t present choking danger, and furniture isn’t in danger of falling over.
CPSC. gov has a Recalls & Product Safety Warnings page that provides updates in these categories.
Medical, Personal Care and Pet Products
The FDA is also in charge of recalls involving cosmetics, pet foods, medications (for people and pets), vaccines and medical devices.
For most recalls, consumers are urged to stop eating that food or using that product immediately.
FDA.gov has a Recalls, Market Withdrawals & Safety Alerts page with recalls of drugs, medical devices, cosmetics, tobacco products and more, in addition to foods.
21. Which may lead to the recall of a pack of potato chips?
A. Poor packaging. B. Incorrect weight.
C. False advertising. D. Undeclared ingredients.
22. If there is a risk in a child’s toy, which can buyers most likely turn to?
A. FDA.gov. B. USDA.gov. C. CPSC.gov. D. FoodSafety.gov.
23. What is the purpose of the text?
A. To describe. B. To persuade. C. To criticize. D. To inform.
B
I have a favorite footballer: Chris Bush, a defender for Boreham Wood, a National League team in Hertfordshire. Yet for most of my life, I wasn’t into football — the “beautiful game” never held my attention.
This lifelong disinterest took root back in my primary school days. While my classmates enjoyed playing keepie-uppie on the playground and happily traded colorful football cards with one another, I preferred staying alone and reading quiet books. In PE lessons, I was put in defense, chatting with friends and pretending to care about the ball, mastering the art of imitating fans’ reactions without understanding the rules. When I was in my twenties, my strong distaste for football gradually became a fixed part of my personal identity. I would purposely skip the sports sections in newspapers, avoid watching big matches on TV, and fear awkward conversations about different teams and football seasons, which often created distance and closed off many chances to build friendships.
Everything completely changed when I became a father. Unwilling to let my two little sons miss out on this important social bond shared by most people around us, I decided to take them to watch our local team, Boreham Wood, play at Meadow Park Stadium. To my great surprise, I was deeply touched by the warm, lively environment around me, and the match experience was surprisingly affordable for ordinary families. Surrounded by crowds of joyful families and devoted lifelong fans, I unexpectedly found myself genuinely cheering loudly for every goal and groaning disappointedly at all the missed chances.
My elder son Harvey soon fell deeply in love with this exciting game, and we have returned to the stadium to watch matches together many times since then. After one thrilling match, we even had the chance to meet Chris Bush in person, who kindly high-fived Harvey and patiently posed for a lovely photo with us. For the first time in my life, I had a real and confident answer to the question “Who do you support?” — and football, once a terrible source of loneliness for me, has finally become a precious joy I happily share with my whole family.
24. What can we learn about the author in his childhood?
A. He faked interest in football. B. He mastered the rules of football.
C. He often collected football cards. D. He avoided talking about football.
25. Why did the author take his sons to the stadium?
A. To let them acquire skills. B. To enjoy family activities.
C. To meet his favorite player. D. To help them fit in socially.
26. What impressed the author most at the stadium?
A. Aggressive fans. B. Positive atmosphere.
C. Excellent players. D. Overpriced tickets.
27. What is the best title for the text?
A. Childhood Memories: My Dislike of Football.
B. Dad and Sons: A Family Bonding Story.
C. Hater to Fan: A Dad’s Football Journey.
D. Chris Bush: A Local Football Legend.
C
The extinction of species occurred long before humans arrived on Earth. By that definition, it’s a natural process. But today, extinctions are increasing rapidly and are very often being linked to human activities. Take the Bramble melomys for example, a tiny animal on a remote island. In 2016, it became the first mammal to be wiped out due to climate change. Some conservationists mourned, but others questioned whether every extinction is something to worry about, leading to two different attitudes toward species protection.
For Peter Kareiva, the president of the Aquarium of the Pacific, the term biodiversity crisis wrongly overstates the importance of individual species, when in reality, entire ecosystems are more important. Kareiva explains that nature is like an airplane, and species are the rivets (铆钉) that hold it together. Without a few rivets, a plane can still fly, but if you take too many out, the plane will fall apart and crash. The trouble is, Kareiva says, we don’t know how many rivets we can take out. Instead of trying to nail down that number, we would be better served focusing on an ecosystem’s functions; that is, keeping the plane in the sky, rather than saving every rivet.
“The first question you may ask is, if this species goes functionally extinct, what will be different about the world?” A scientist’s role, he says, should be to answer that question as the evidence society uses to decide whether a species needs to be saved.
However, Tierra Curry, a scientist and activist, believes that valuing the natural world in terms of how each individual species benefits humans may be too narrow a view. “Actually, genetic diversity can make ecosystems robust in the face of dramatic changes like climate change and disease,” she notes. A single invasive (侵入的) species may replace native ones and accomplish an ecosystem function in the short term, but a disease would more easily wipe it out in the future.
Curry’s main motivation is morality. Mass global extinctions have happened five times before, but humans have the capacity to understand that we are causing this one. “Because we know,” she says, “we have the moral responsibility to take care of all the species.”
28. Why is the Bramble melomys mentioned in Paragraph 1?
A. To prove species extinctions are natural.
B. To illustrate how serious climate change is.
C. To support the view of human-caused extinction.
D. To urge people to take action to conserve wildlife.
29. How does Peter Kareiva mainly develop his idea?
A. By making a comparison. B. By explaining concepts.
C. By analyzing statistics. D. By referring to a study.
30. What does the underlined word “robust” probably mean?
A. Delicate. B. Complex. C. Powerless. D. Strong.
31. What is the main idea of the text?
A. Moral responsibility for the ecosystem. B. Divided attitudes to species extinction.
C. Reasons for the death of some species. D. Significance of ecosystem diversity.

A photovoltaic (PV) cell, commonly called a solar cell, is a nonmechanical device that turns sunlight directly into electricity. Some PV cells can turn artificial light into electricity.
Sunlight is composed of photons (光子), or particles (粒子) of solar energy. A PV cell is made of semiconductor material. When photons strike a PV cell, they may reflect off the cell, pass through the cell, or be absorbed by the semiconductor material. Only the absorbed photons provide energy to generate electricity. When the semiconductor material absorbs enough solar energy, electrons are freed from the material’s atoms.
Special treatment of the material surface during manufacturing makes the front surface of the cell more receptive to the free electrons so that the electrons naturally move to the surface of the cell. The movement of electrons, each carrying a negative charge, toward the front surface of the cell creates an imbalance of electrical charge between the cell’s front and back surfaces. This imbalance, in turn, creates a voltage (电压) potential like the negative and positive terminals of a battery. Electrical conductors on the cell absorb the electrons. When the conductors are connected in an electrical circuit to an external load, such as a battery, electricity flows in the circuit.
The PV cell is the basic building block of a PV system. Individual cells can vary in size from about 0.5 inches to about 4 inches across. However, one cell only produces 1 or 2 Watts, which is only enough electricity for small uses, such as powering calculators or wristwatches. To improve electricity-generating capacity, PV cells can be electrically connected in a packaged, weather-tight PV module. PV modules can be connected in groups to form a PV array, which can be installed (安装) quickly and be any size.
With experimental cells reaching nearly 50% proficiency, the potential for further improvement remains enormous. The sun provides enough energy in one hour to meet global demand for an entire year. The solar cell, once a niche product for calculators, is evolving into a cornerstone of modern power generation — brightening both our homes and our planet’s future.
32. What can we learn about the PV cells?
A. PV cells are released by sunlight.
B. PV cells can’t take in all photons.
C. PV cells don’t react to artificial light.
D. PV cells provide energy to generate electricity.
33. Why is the material surface specially treated?
A. To create an electrical circuit.
B: To absorb photons more effectively.
C. To direct the movement of the electrons.
D. To free electrons from the material’s atoms.
34. How can PV technology meet larger electricity demands?
A. By making the size of the cells smaller.
B. By adapting it to various kinds of weather.
C. By increasing the number of connected cells.
D. By improving the efficiency of installation.
35. What does the last paragraph mainly talk about?
A. The prospects of PV technology. B. The cornerstone of power generation.
C. The future development of our planet. D. The stereotypes of new forms of energy.

Recently, a leisurely walking trend known as ColorWalk, also referred to as Color Hunting overseas, has gained immense popularity among young people on social media in China and around the world.
36 The rules are simple: before heading out, choose a color to focus on, then walk through the streets with the sole aim of spotting and capturing everything in that color. This simple act initiates a relaxing and healing journey.
Many people find that this type of “purposeful walking” helps them temporarily escape mental conflicts and rediscover the small, beautiful moments in daily life. Ms. Kang, a participant, had long been troubled by anxiety due to overtime work. On her first ColorWalk, she chose green. During the 20-minute walk, she focused solely on finding green, and the tightness in her chest gradually faded. 37 When overwhelmed by studying, she went out in search of bright yellow and discovered sunsets, winter jasmine flowers, and warm yellow signs. She realized how many overlooked beauties were hidden on campus, and her mood immediately lifted.
This simple task activates areas of the brain’s prefrontal cortex (前额叶) responsible for attention control and self-regulation. 38 In a world that is flooded with broken bits of information, mental exhaustion is common. ColorWalk offers overworked brains and emotions a brief opportunity to reset and recover.
Observing colors is also a vital part of the healing process. Different colors, with their unique light wavelengths, arouse varied feelings in the nervous system. 39 That is why they are often used in hospitals and counseling rooms. Bright colors such as yellow and orange are energetic and help lift low moods.
The goal is not to pick the “right” color but to slow down through walking and searching, noticing the beauty often missed. In busy, nonstop days, give yourself 20 minutes. Let go of all your troubles and focus solely on how you feel and the colors around you. 40
A. This, in itself, is a precious form of self-healing.
B. Soft tones like blue and green quickly calm people.
C. Other participants view it as an effective emotional outlet.
D. The more colors you discover, the healthier you will be.
E. ColorWalk requires no complicated preparation or specific destination.
F. A college student used ColorWalk to deal with the stress of finals week.
G. By actively choosing where to focus, people can step back from repetitive worries and stress.

Tom, a hard-working junior high school student, was buried in thick review books and exercise papers all day long. Faced with endless daily tests and heavy learning tasks, he spared no effort to make progress step by step. Every day, he devoted himself fully to his studies, hoping to lay a solid foundation for his future studies. For him, every moment of study was precious, and a peaceful, undisturbed learning environment was essential to efficient revision.
However, an unexpected trouble came to him. A flock of birds built their nests in the tall old tree just outside his classroom window. From early morning till sunset, the birds kept singing loudly and non-stop. The sharp and continuous chirping cut through the quiet classroom again and again, easily breaking his train of thought. Whenever he tried to memorize key knowledge or focus on difficult exercises, the noisy sounds would distract him at once. Gradually, he grew restless and frustrated.
As the monthly exam approached, his stress built up day by day. One tired evening, after wasting plenty of time and failing to finish his homework smoothly because of the noise, he could no longer hold back his annoyance. He took up his pen and wrote a heartfelt letter to the principal (校长), earnestly requesting the school to clear away the bird nests so that students could study in peace.
He mailed the letter with mixed feelings, not sure whether his request would be approved. In the following days, he waited anxiously, still troubled by the bird songs and unable to settle down. He tried hard to ignore the noise, yet his anger never faded away. He even felt a little disappointed, worrying that no one would notice his trouble.
