interest /ˈɪntrəst/ n.兴趣;趣味;利益
(1)[可数名词]兴趣,爱好
Every person has his own talents and interests.
每个人都有自己的才能和爱好。
(2)[名词]兴趣,关注
have/show/take (an) interest in sth.对...有/表现出/感兴趣
lose interest in sth.对…失去兴趣
He showed a strong interest in Chinese classical art and culture.他对中国古典艺术和文化表现出浓厚的兴趣。

辨析:any与some
any和some都有“一些”的含义,都能修饰可数名词复数和不可数名词,其区别是:
any一般用于疑问句和否定句中
some一般用于肯定句中,有时也用于疑问句,表示期望得到肯定回答

单词重音
重音是指在一个单词中,某个音节发音时力度较强、音量较大、音调较高,听起来比较突出。例如,在单词 “apple” 中,“ap-” 这个音节就是重读音节,发音时要比 “-ple” 更响亮。
重音的基本规则
单音节词:所有的单音节词都重读。例如:book(书)、car(汽车)、red(红色的)等。虽然单音节词没有重音符号,但在发音时要读得清晰有力。

双音节词
一般来说,双音节名词的重音通常在第一个音节上。如:'paper(纸)、'table(桌子)、'window(窗户)等。
双音节动词的重音多数在第二个音节上。例如:be'gin(开始)、re'pair(修理)、de'cide(决定)等。
多音节词:多音节词的重音一般落在倒数第三个音节上。
例如:'family(家庭)、'interesting(有趣的)、'beautiful(美丽的)
“help me out 表示 帮我摆脱困境;帮我一把” ,help sb. out 是固定用法,sb.是被帮助的对象,可以用人称代词宾格或名词来表示。
e.g. When I was in trouble, my friend helped me out.
当我遇到麻烦时,我的朋友帮了我一把。
He always helps his classmates out with their studies.
他总是在学习上帮助他的同学们。

反义词为 disagree“不同意”。
agree with 表示同意某人的看法或观点,后接人或表示“意见;看法”的名词。

agree on sth. 就……取得一致意见
agree + that 从句 同意……;商定……
I agree. 我同意。
make sb. +形容词 使某人……
e.g. The news made him very happy. 这消息使他非常高兴。
