本单元核心语法:宾语从句(Object Clauses),重点掌握由 that、if、whether 引导的宾语从句,也是九年级中考语法的核心重难点。
二、语法精讲
(一)什么是宾语从句?
在句子中,充当宾语成分的从句,就叫宾语从句。
1. 普通句子简单宾语:I know the answer.(名词作宾语)
2. 宾语从句:I know that reading is important.(完整句子作宾语)
(二)宾语从句三大核心引导词
1. that 引导的宾语从句
· 用法:用来陈述一个肯定的事实、看法、观点,本身无实际汉语含义,只起连接作用。
· 可省略规则:that 在口语、非正式写作中经常可以直接省略。
· 常见主句动词:think, believe, find, understand, say, know, hope 等
· 教材原句:
· I believe (that) reading is important for learning.
· Peter finds (that) he can connect physics with something in real life.
· 例句:
· I think (that) taking notes helps a lot with study.
我认为记笔记对学习帮助很大。
2. if / whether 引导的宾语从句
· 用法:用来表示疑问、不确定、想知道,翻译为**“是否”**
· 区别细节:
a. 一般情况,if 和 whether 可以互换
b. 句子末尾有 or not 时,只能用whether,绝对不能用if
c. 介词后面、不定式 to do 前面,只能用whether
· 教材原句:
· I wonder if / whether you could help me.
· I want to know if / whether you read English books outside class.
· 例句:
· She wonders whether she can improve her English quickly.
她想知道自己能不能快速提升英语。
· I don't know whether he will join the study club or not.
我不知道他要不要参加学习社团。
(三)宾语从句三大黄金语序
✅ 无论主句是什么语气,宾语从句必须用【陈述语序】:主语 + 谓语 + 其他
❌ 错误:I wonder what is good learning.(疑问语序)
✅ 正确:I wonder what good learning is.(陈述语序)
口诀:主句不变从句变,疑问语序陈述化
(四)宾语从句时态配对规则
1. 主句为现在时态(一般现在、现在进行、现在完成)→ 从句可以根据实际意思,用任意时态
· I know that he studies very hard.(从句一般现在)
· I know that he studied hard last year.(从句一般过去)
2. 主句为过去时态(一般过去、过去进行)→ 从句必须改为对应的过去相关时态(客观真理除外)
· He said that reading was very important.(现在→过去)
3. 从句表述客观真理、自然规律、永恒事实 → 从句时态永远用一般现在时,不受主句时态影响
· Our teacher told us that the earth goes around the sun.
(五)否定转移
当主句动词为 think/believe/suppose,且主语是第一人称(I/we),从句的否定要前移到主句
❌ I think it isn't easy to learn well.
✅ I don't think it is easy to learn well.
(六)教材特殊拓展&易错点
1. that 只有在引导陈述句宾语从句时可以省略,if/whether 绝对不能省略
2. 本单元高频主句结构:
· I wonder... 我想知道……
· I want to know... 我想要了解……
· Sb. suggests that... 某人建议……(从句常用虚拟语气 )
