Fairy tale
Fairy tales are wonderful traditional stories for children. They have a long history and are popular all over the world.
Most fairy tales are short and full of imagination. They usually have simple characters like brave heroes, kind princesses and magic animals. There are always good endings in these stories.
People tell fairy tales orally first, and later write them down in books. We can read them or listen to them before bedtime.
Fairy tales teach us good values, such as being honest, brave and kind. They bring happiness and hope to kids.
Drama
Drama is a special form of art with a long history. It is loved by many people around the world.
Drama tells stories through actors’ performances on stage. Actors use their voices, actions and facial expressions to show different characters. Some dramas are funny, while others are moving. People can watch them in theaters.
Watching drama is a great way to relax. It also teaches us about life, feelings and culture. Many traditional Chinese dramas are very famous, such as Beijing Opera. They are great treasures of Chinese culture.
Biography
A biography is a kind of writing about a real person’s life. It has a long history and is popular among readers.
A biography usually tells the person’s birth, growth, big experiences and great achievements. It uses true facts instead of imaginary stories. We can learn about famous people’s hard‑working stories from biographies.
Reading biographies is meaningful. It helps us know history better and encourages us to face difficulties bravely. Many students love reading biographies of great people.
