Passive Voice
◆ 一般现在时:am / is / are + 过去分词
The book is read by him.
The window was broken yesterday.
The work will be finished tomorrow.
be going to + be + 过去分词
A meeting is going to be held.
English is spoken in many countries.
My bike was stolen last night.
The letter was written by my father.
He tells me a story.
→ I am told a story by him.
→ A story is told to me by him.
told 后接人时,物前通常用 to;
若原动词用 buy / make 等,人前用 for。
使役动词:let, make, have
感官动词:see, hear, notice, watch, feel
He watched a bear dance this morning.
→ A bear was watched to dance this morning.
see/hear sb do sth → sb be seen/heard to do sth
see/hear sb doing sth → sb be seen/heard doing sth
write, sell, wash,
read, cook, smell
常与 well / easily /
quickly / smoothly 连用
The pen writes well.
The book sells well.
1. need / require / want / worth + doing
= need / require / want / worth + to be done
The bike needs repairing. = needs to be repaired.
He was laughed at by them.(at 不能丢)
It is said that … 据说……
It is known that …
take place 发生
break out 爆发
run out 耗尽
人或物都可作主语;
系动词和副词搭配记;
