There are two books on the desk. be 动词与最近的名词保持一致 否定句 There is not a book on the desk. There are not two books on the desk. 在 be 动词后加 not 一般疑问句 Is there a book on the desk? Are there two books on the desk? 将 be 动词提到 there 前面 肯定回答 Yes, there is. Yes, there are. 用 there + be 动词回答 否定回答 No, there isn’t.
