In pairs, read the conversation aloud slowly. Then listen and read it again at a normal speed. Notice how the letters in bold change sounds.
A: Did you read Little Women for English class? It’s great!
B: No, I didn’t. Would you like to tell me about it?
A: Well, I’d like to. But don’t you want to read it by yourself?

例如:“Nice to meet you.”中 meet you 连读为 /miːtʃu/。
例如:“Would you like some tea?”中 Would you 连读为 /wʊdʒu/。
Let’s learn
A: Nice to meet you! I’m Lily.
B: Nice to meet you too, Lily! Would you like to go to the zoo with me this Sunday?
A: Sure! Did you see the pandas last time?
B: Yes! They are so cute. I want to see them again.
