①Life is full of moments, but some are “special” and stay in our hearts forever. For example, the first time you rode a bike alone, a friend’s hug when you were sad, or in the evening talking with family. These moments aren’t always big, but they change how we feel about ourselves and the world.
②Special moments are like treasures. We don’t need to write them down-our hearts remember them. A teacher might praise a shy student’s drawing, making the child feel important. A parent could bake cookies with you on a rainy day, filling the kitchen with laughter. Even strangers can create them: a barista who knows your coffee order, or a neighbor who helps carry groceries. These small acts stay in our minds because they make us feel loved.
③Businesses also use special moments. A café might play soft music and serve warm cookies on cold days to make customers feel welcome. A bookstore could hold story time for kids every weekend, turning a visit into a happy memory. An ice-cream shop lets customers decorate their own cones (冰激凌蛋筒)-seeing a child smile while adding something is a moment everyone remembers
④In the end, special moments are everywhere. They don’t need money or planning-just a little care. A kind word, a smile, or a small surprise can make life richer. So take time to relish these moments—they make life worth living.
15. What does the passage say about special moments?
A. They are always big and exciting. B. We can keep the special things in mind.
C. We need to write them down to remember. D. They have nothing to do with how we feel.
16. What does the ice-cream shop probably do according to the passage?
A. Sells the cheapest ice-cream. B. Closes early on weekends.
C. Refuses to let kids enter. D. Creates ice-cream moments for guests.
17. Which is the structure of this passage?
A. B. C. D.
18. What does the underlined word “relish” in paragraph 4 mean?
A. spend B. waste C. enjoy D. change
【答案】15. B 16. D 17. D 18. C

Have you ever thought about how we use sunlight to make electricity? Solar power (太阳能) is a kind of clean energy that never runs out and is changing how we live. Let’s learn how it works and why it's good.
Solar panels (太阳能电池板) are made up of many small squares called solar cells (太阳能电池). These cells are made from a special material found in sand. When sunlight hits them, they make electricity by moving very small parts inside the material. This is called the sunlight power-making. The electricity made is called DC power (直流电), but our homes use AC power (交流电). To change DC power into AC power, we need to use a tool. Then we can use the electricity for lights, TVs, and other things we use every day.
Solar power has many advantages. First, it's natural. It uses sunlight that will never run out. Second, it's friendly to the environment as it produces no air pollution. Third, it saves money over time since sunlight is free. Finally, solar panels need little care and can work well for 25 to 30 years. However, solar energy also faces difficulty. Solar panels don't work at night, and cloudy days reduce their power. To solve this, scientists are developing better systems to store more energy. New materials are also being tested to make panels cheaper and work better.
Now people around the world are using solar power in smart ways. Some put many panels together in fields, while others put them on lakes to save land. With new ideas, solar power may become our main energy one day, helping to keep our Earth clean.
By using solar power, we're making a cleaner world. Maybe you'll help to make solar technology even better when you grow up!
根据材料内容选择最佳答案。
19. What are solar cells mainly made from?
A. Wood from forests. B. Special materials in sand.
C. Electricity from sunlight. D. Plastic things in daily life.
20. Which shows the correct order of solar energy use?
a. DC power is produced.
b. A tool changes DC power into AC power.
c. Sunlight hits solar panels.
d. We use the electricity for daily life.
A. a→b→c→d B. b→c→a→d C. c→a→b→d D. c→b→a→d
21. How does the writer develop Paragraph 3?
A. Advantages—Problems—Methods. B. Problems—Methods—Advantages.
C. Methods—Advantages—Problems. D. Advantages—Methods—Problems.
22. What can we infer (推断) from the text?
A. Solar power may become a main energy choice in the future.
B. Solar energy will take the place of the traditional energy soon.
C. Solar power is only suitable for small objects like lights and TVs.
D. People in different countries are using solar power in the same way.
【答案】19. B 20. C 21. A 22. A
第二段明确写道“These cells are made from a special material found in sand.” 因此选B。
【20题详解】
正确顺序为:阳光照射太阳能板(c)→ 产生直流电(a)→ 工具将直流电转为交流电(b)→ 用于日常生活(d)。
【21题详解】
第三段先列出优点(First, Second, Third, Finally),然后指出困难(However),最后说明解决方法(To solve this…)。因此结构为“优点—问题—解决方法”。

The next big change in AI will not be a new app—it will be a new workforce. The first wave of AI worked inside computers. It could write, translate, summarize and communicate. It changed how people worked with information and made digital work faster.
But a new chapter is now opening—one that moves intelligence from software into the real world. Physical AI does not just give answers. It can understand its surroundings and respond physically. It powers robots, self-driving systems, smart machines and city infrastructure (基础设施). If early AI changed how we worked with information, Physical AI will change how we make things, move things, build things and take care of things.
In this change, Shenzhen—powered by the strength of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area—holds important advantages. The city brings together hardware, production, software, supply chain, and new companies in one connected system, which makes it easy to turn ideas into products. New versions can be made quickly, and there are plenty of places to test them.
These are exactly what Physical AI needs. Unlike digital AI, which is mainly about algorithms (算法), Physical AI needs a deep connection between models, sensors, parts, chips, production, and—most importantly—real-world testing.
However, just putting these parts together is not enough. The success of Physical AI depends on whether it works well in real life—in other words, whether robots are affordable, reliable and safe when doing actual tasks. Shenzhen offers many different real-world environments—from factories to smart city projects—where intelligent systems can learn, grow and improve. This means deployment (投入使用) itself becomes a learning process: real use creates data, data improves performance, and better performance leads to more use.
This creates a powerful cycle that rewards places able to turn research into products quickly—and in Shenzhen, robotics companies are already moving from test models to real-world products.
23. How does the writer introduce Physical AI?
A. By telling a story about its invention. B. By explaining its use in China.
C. By comparing it to the first wave of AI. D. By listing its main functions and features.
24. What can Physical AI do?
A. It can write, translate and summarize. B. It can sense the real world and act.
C. It can only work inside computers. D. It can replace all human workers.
25. What advantage does Shenzhen have for developing Physical AI?
A. It has the largest number of software developers in China.
B. It connects everything to turn ideas into products fast.
C. It was the first city to use Physical AI in public spaces.
D. It offers the lowest cost of robotic labor in the world.
26. What's the best title for the passage?
A. The History of Artificial Intelligence B. The Difference Between AI and Robots
C. How Shenzhen Became a Technology Centre D. Physical AI: From Software to the Real World
【答案】23. C 24. B 25. B 26. D
【解析】
【导语】本文介绍了人工智能发展的新阶段——物理AI(Physical AI),它不同于第一波主要在软件中运行的AI,而是能够感知环境并做出物理反应,应用于机器人、自动驾驶等领域。
【23题详解】
第一段介绍了第一波AI的特点(在电脑内部工作,能写、翻译、总结),第二段开头指出“But a new chapter is now opening...”,接着描述Physical AI的特点,并与早期AI进行对比(“If early AI changed how we worked with information, Physical AI will change how we make things...”)。因此作者是通过与第一波AI比较来引入Physical AI的。
【24题详解】
第二段明确指出:“Physical AI does not just give answers. It can understand its surroundings and respond physically.” 说明Physical AI能够感知真实世界并做出物理反应。
【25题详解】
第三段明确指出:“The city brings together hardware, production, software, supply chain, and new companies in one connected system, which makes it easy to turn ideas into products.”

A. spend B. waste C. enjoy D. change
