B(24-25学年高一下·浙江宁波·期末)
This year I am living abroad in Germany and trying to learn as much German as possible. But one thing I didn’t realize was how many new words I would face every day. I see and hear new words everywhere: the notices in the train station; menus in restaurants; the local newspaper and of course from my German-speaking friends. New words are all around you when you are in a foreign country.
At first, a lot of German words I didn’t understand gave me a headache. I kept on looking up new words, but by the end of the day I had forgotten most of them already. It upset me. A month later, I went to a shop and bought a small notebook. I set myself the goal of writing five new words a day into my little blue notebook. Since then, in my bag, I have always carried an important thing — my little blue word notebook.
I don’t have any rules about which words I write down. Most days I write down words that I learn from my partners at work, or words that I have read. I have also learned the names of many fruits and vegetables from looking at their labels in the supermarket — a very unexpected way of learning words. And I have learned many words that I have heard on TV or on the radio. If I hear a word that I even don’t know how to spell, I write down how I think it is and look it up later.
My little blue word notebook is now like my closest friend. We are like Batman and Robin; we go everywhere together. Setting the small daily goal has made me feel much more in control of my language learning and I am already seeing an improvement. I will continue to use it for the rest of my stay in Germany and also when I return to university at home in September.
24.What surprised the author when living in Germany?
A.The high cost of living in Germany.
B.The difficulty of learning German grammar.
C.The new German words she encountered daily.
D.The unfriendliness of local German speakers.
25.How does the author choose words for the notebook?
A.By asking friends to dictate words.
B.By noting down any unfamiliar words.
C.By copying restaurant menus entirely.
D.By selecting the hardest grammar rules.
26.Why did the writer compare her notebook to Batman and Robin?
A.To show the notebook is as famous as superheroes.
B.To express her deep love and dependence on the notebook.
C.To suggest she wants to be a superhero in language learning.
D.To prove that learning German is as exciting as superhero stories.
27.What is the best title for the passage?
A.How I Adapted to Life in Germany.
B.How I Mastered German Grammar.
C.How I Learned German with a Notebook.
D.How I Realized the Value of Languages.
C(24-25学年高一下·湖南长沙·期末)
Is forgiveness against our human nature? To answer our question, we need to ask a further question: What is the essence of our humanity? For the sake of simplicity, people consider two distinctly different views of humanity. The first view involves dominance and power. In an early paper on the psychology of forgiveness, Droll (1984) made the interesting claim that humans’ essential nature is more aggressive than forgiving allows. Those who forgive are against their basic nature, much to their harm. In his opinion, forgivers are compromising their well-being as they offer mercy to others, who might then take advantage of them.
The second view involves the theme of cooperation, mutual respect, and even love as the basis of who we are as humans. Researchers find that to fully grow as human beings, we need both to receive love from and offer love to others. Without love, our connections with a wide range of individuals in our lives can fall apart. Even common sense strongly suggests that the will to power over others does not make for harmonious interactions. For example, how well has slavery worked as a mode of social harmony?
From this second viewpoint of who we are as humans, forgiveness plays a key role in the biological and psychological integrity of both individuals and communities because one of the outcomes of forgiveness, shown through scientific studies, is the decreasing of hatred and the restoration of harmony. Forgiveness can break the cycle of anger. At least to the extent the people from whom you are estranged accept your love and forgiveness and are prepared to make the required adjustments. Forgiveness can heal relationships and reconnect people.
As an important note, when we take a classical philosophical perspective, that of Aristotle, we see the distinction between potentiality and actuality. We are not necessarily born with the capacity to forgive, but instead with the potential to learn about it and to grow in our ability to forgive. The actuality of forgiving, its actual appropriation in conflict situations, develops with practice.
28.What is Droll’s idea about forgiveness?
A.People who forgive can have their welfare affected.
B.Forgiveness depends on the nature of humanity.
C.People should offer mercy to other people.
D.Aggressive people should learn to forgive.
29.What does the example in Paragraph 2 illustrate?
A.To fight is to grow. B.To dominate is to harm.
C.To forgive is to love. D.To give is to receive.
30.What is the writer’s attitude toward forgiveness?
A.Objective. B.Reserved. C.Favorable. D.Doubtful.
31.What is message of the last paragraph?
A.Forgiveness is in our nature. B.It takes practice to forgive.
C.Actuality is based on potentiality. D.Forgiveness grows with time.

An experiment in central Mexico brings hope for the important winter habitat of millions of moving monarch butterflies (帝王蝶). When scientists planted hundreds of young oyamel firs (冷杉) about 100 kilometers from their native habitat, they weren’t sure how many trees would survive. Today, researchers report in Frontiers in Forests and Global Change that most are growing well. Even at 3,800 meters above sea level, high above where they usually grow, nearly 70% of the young trees have survived at least three years.
Every fall, monarch butterflies move from southern Canada to the mountains of central Mexico. They sleep through the winter only on the oyamel firs. Thousands might gather on a single branch. However, the forests and the butterflies are in peril. Monarch butterflies’ populations continue to drop, arid due to climate change, oyamel firs are expected to almost disappear by 2090.
“We need to move the forests to a higher location,” says Cuauhtémoc Sáenz-Romero, a forest geneticist in Mexico. Oyamel firs, growing between 2,400 and 3,500 meters, need cold mountain air to survive. The cold at higher places also slows the metabolism (新陈代谢) of butterflies, making them survive the long winter. As central Mexico gets warmer, new generations of oyamel firs will likely be moved higher.
Sáenz-Romero’s team collected oyamel fir seeds from 3,100 to 3,500 meters in the Monarch Butterfly Biosphere Reserve and grew them in a nursery (苗圃). They planted around 960 trees at four locations on the Nevado de Toluca volcano. Three years later, the higher location the trees were planted at, the smaller and shorter they were. However, many survived their first year, indicating long-term survival.
Turning the experiment into reality would face many challenges, including getting the community’s and government’s support. And even if the trees can survive, another question remains: Will the monarch butterflies find them? During the winter of 2023-2024, some large monarch groups didn’t sleep through the winter in the reserve.
32.What do we know about the experiment of planting oyamel fir trees?
A.It would help monarch butterflies fly farther.
B.It would benefit monarch butterflies’ habitat.
C.It focused on the monarch butterflies’ food.
D.It was carried out by Mexican locals every fall.
33.What does the underlined word “peril” in paragraph 2 mean?
A.Danger. B.Harmony. C.Balance. D.Safety.
34.What can we infer from the result of the tree-planting?
A.Trees at higher locations would exist longer.
B.The trees planted in low places grew slowly.
C.The trees planted could all survive in the long term.
D.Survival rates decreased sharply as temperature increased.
35.What message does the author want to express in the last paragraph?
A.More butterflies are supposed to be needed.
B.There are uncertainties about monarch butterflies.
C.Moving oyamel firs to higher places proves hopeless.
D.The government should provide more oyamel fir seeds.

How to add green tech to your home
Green tech involves combining technology and science to create environmentally friendly products. The idea is by using products and services in the home to reduce energy consumption, waste, or harmful effects on the environment, we can all help the planet. 36
Install smart light bulbs
One quick way to reduce energy use is to switch all your light bulbs to energy-efficient versions called smart bulbs and use a virtual assistant to control them. These bulbs tend to use about 7 to 9.5 watts of power yet provide the same amount of light a 60-watt ordinary bulb offers. 37 Just use your phone to shut them down.
38
Smart plugs are a great option, too, for controlling devices like televisions, coffee makers, or almost anything that plugs into a wall socket to work. Devices like these use energy just by being plugged in, so using your phone or virtual assistant to turn the plugs on or off as needed helps stop energy drain in its tracks.
Upcycle or recycle your old tech
Tech is everywhere in our homes, and when a device gets old, we tend to replace it with a newer, better, faster version. It’s okay to get the latest device, but why not reuse and repurpose the older ones? For example, you can upcycle your old computers and laptops by repurposing them into home security monitors. Got an old Android phone? 39
It’s not hard to start adding green tech to your home. 40 Once you start, you’ll quickly see how convenient green tech can be and how easy it is to start using it.
A.Add smart plugs everywhere
B.Forgot to turn off the lights?
C.Anyone can achieve it easily.
D.Upcycle it into a remote control for your TV.
E.Upcycle it instead of throwing it into the dust bin.

One day a friend invited me to join gymnastics class that she had belonged to for many years. My mom got the needed information and within a few days I was ready to start!
When I got there, I was extremely nervous. The group wasn’t very welcoming so I was regretting signing up. It seemed they were comfortable with the team they had, and they didn’t want anyone to be added to it. But after working together for a few days, we all soon became friends. A month passed and I learned to do many things. I was excited and ready to learn back handsprings(手翻). Back handsprings are one of the main things you need to know for gymnastics because they are done so often. In my opinion, they are the hardest to do, but I was ready to try.
My friend was the queen of back handsprings, so she helped me understand each and every step. Our coach pulled out a handspring machine to help the kids who were learning how to do them for the first time. This machine is a block that has cushion(垫子) all around it. You basically sit in the mouth of the machine and push off with your feet and go backwards until you land on your hands, then feet.
Even with the handspring machine, I couldn’t get my feet right, so I had to try again and again. Impatient, some of the girls seemed to get angry. I was feeling like the new kid in the group again. The new kid that didn’t know what she was doing but everyone else knew it!

My backpack weighed 53 pounds, filled with dried food, water, and necessities for my first long-distance hike on Canada’s 180-kilometre Sunshine Coast Trail. The journey to the trailhead (登山口) was an adventure in itself — riding my motorcycle in the rain, taking buses, and finally a rubber boat to Sarah Point. As I set off, I felt a mix of excitement and fear. Backcountry trips weren’t new to me, but 15 days alone in the wilderness was a different beast.
I was fascinated with all the trail had to offer. Some parts were wide and flat, while others were narrow, steep, and even overgrown. Each night, I stayed in a different hut, living a unique life each day. At Bliss Portage Hut, I found peace on a hidden bench overlooking a forest. Sitting there, I realized how rare it is to have the forest completely to oneself.
Hiking develops a unique friendship. Along the way, I kept hearing about Pierre, a cheerful Frenchman with long, curly hair. When we finally met on Tin Hat Mountain, it felt like reuniting with an old friend. We laughed about how the trail had connected us before we even crossed paths. It struck me how such journeys remove pretences (做作), leaving only human connection.
Why do people hike? Is it for the views, the loneliness, or the challenge? For me, it was about independence and adventure, a chance to experience real life. The trail became a pilgrimage (朝圣之旅), reconnecting me with the world and myself. Each step reminded me of our smallness in the universe yet our great feelings.
Upon completion, I found my motorcycle, feeling a bittersweet mix of achievement and loss. Returning to city life felt dreamlike, as if the past 15 days had been a dream. The trail had changed me, teaching me to appreciate simpleness and freedom, lessons I’d carry long after the hike ended. Life on the trail was a reminder of what truly matters.
24.What did the author experience before getting to the trailhead?
A.He joined a package tour. B.He came across a wild beast.
C.He covered 180 kilometres. D.He used various means of transportation.
25.What was the trip like according to paragraph 2?
A.It was short of excitement. B.It was basically a desert hike.
C.It offered a variety of experiences. D.It brought a sense of loneliness.
26.What was the author’s friendship with Pierre based on?
A.Shared experience. B.Sincere care.
C.Similar backgrounds. D.Regular contacts.
27.What lesson might the author learn from the trip?
A.Simplicity and freedom are valuable.
B.Happiness is what truly matters.
C.Nothing can compare with city life.
D.Living a simple life is never possible.

A new study has turned long-standing beliefs about a curious area of medicine. The placebo (安慰剂) effect is a strange medical phenomenon — a sick person starts to feel better after being given a counterfeit treatment they’ve been told is real. The placebo is a pill or spray (喷雾) containing something harmless and ineffective, such as sugar or salt. Even though it is not genuine, the act of taking a medicine and thinking it will work causes the patient’s brain to send signals to the body that relieve some of the symptoms. It has always been believed that the effect only works because of the lie involved. However, a new study has found that placebos can still be effective, even when the patients know what they’ve been given.
The study was led by Darwin A.Guevarra from the University of Michigan in the US. His team took two groups of people and gave them a nose spray. They were then shown different terrible images. While the groups looked at the pictures, the team monitored their brain activity for signals of emotional distress. The first group was told the spray was just to help the scientists with their readings. The second group was told that the spray was a placebo that could reduce feelings of sadness if they believed it would.
Based on the brain signals, the team found the second group showed fewer signs of sadness than the first group. Co-author Jason Moser says the study shows that people don’t need to be lied to for a placebo to work. “Honest” placebos could be a way for doctors to treat patients suffering from certain conditions, such as high stress levels. “You could give them a placebo, tell them it can help them and it is possible — if they believe it can, then it will.”
28.The underlined word “counterfeit” (in para.1) is closest in meaning to .
A.natural. B.harmful. C.effective. D.fake.
29.Why did Darwin A.Guevarra and his team conduct the study about “placebo”?
A.To see if nose spray can help reduce feelings of sadness.
B.To test the effectiveness of a new type of medicine.
C.To prove that the placebo effect is a lie.
D.To explore if a placebo works for patients aware of its lie.
30.It can be inferred from Guevarra’s study that .
A.“honest” placebos could help doctors to treat anxiety.
B.Placebos work only when patents are cheated into believing they are real.
C.Doctors should never use placebos because they can cause harm to patients.
D.Placebos are not effective in treating any medical conditions.
31.What is the passage mainly about?
A.A placebo can be used as an effective way to cure diseases like cancer.
B.A sick person must be lied to for a placebo to work.
C.Patients’ trust in a placebo can potentially lead to beneficial effects.
D.“Honest” placebos could be effective for all patients.

An AI enabling robots to do chores like making the bed or cleaning the floor in homes it has never seen before could allow many more robots to become generally useful, its creators say.
Large language models (LLMs) that power tools like ChatGPT have improved robots’ ability to carry out spoken requests. However, most robots work well only in environments in which they have been trained.
Now, Sergey Levine at robotics company Physical Intelligence in San Francisco and his colleagues have developed an artificial intelligence model called xo.5 that allows robots to work in real homes that they have never seen before. The model is trained using data from an unusually wide range of sources, including many different kinds of robots working in lab and home settings, as well as plentiful data from the web, such as image and object databases.
When Levine and his team tested the AI model on robots they had built using off-the-shelf parts, 97 percent of the training data came from sources other than the robot itself. “Because π0.5 can take full advantage of other data sources, from the web and other kinds of robots, then it can have this broader generalisation,” says Levine.
The team tested how well the robots performed when instructed to do chores such as putting plates in the sink, putting shopping away in drawers and placing dirty clothes in a basket. They didn’t work perfectly every time. “When it comes to the practical utility of this model, it’s definitely not there yet, in the sense that this is not a home robot that somebody could buy and put in their home,” says Levine. But he also says that the robots’ performance appears to improve in a predictable way as they are tested in increasing numbers of homes. This trend (趋势) is similar to how language AI performance was found to predictably improve as more data was added.
“The videos they show are quite impressive,” says Pedro Lima at the University of Lisbon in Portugal. However, the robots perform their tasks at least five times slower than a human, sometimes taking 10 to 15 minutes to finish, which could be difficult to improve, he says.
32.What is the purpose of writing paragraph 2?
A.To provide examples. B.To add backgrounds.
C.To make comparisons. D.To support assumptions.
33.What makes the π0.5 model different from traditional models?
A.Using data from various sources. B.Working faster than human beings.
C.Being tested only in lab environments. D.Relying on self-collected training data.
34.What can we infer about the π0.5 model powered robots from Levine’s words?
A.They are suitable for home use now.
B.More home tests can help improve them.
C.They fail to complete simple housework.
D.Web data has little effect on their performance.
35.What is Pedro Lima’s attitude towards the π0.5 model powered robots?
A.Negative. B.Confident. C.Objective. D.Unconcerned.

The hot sun on your skin, sweat going into your eyes — anyone who has played a sport in the middle of summer knows it’s not easy. And some people even think adding heat is a good way to get a better workout — like in hot yoga or hot Pilates, which are done in rooms as hot as 38 degrees Celsius. 36
The answer isn’t as simple as a yes or no. There may be some benefits of exercising in high temperatures. It is believed that these works warm the muscles, which can help you avoid injuries. 37 This is because they make your heart work a bit harder.
But before you turn the heat up, it’s not all good news. For one thing, your body might not be able to work as hard in high heat as it can in cooler temperatures, meaning your workout won't be as good as you might like.
38 Because the body sweats more, it's easy to get dehydrated (脱水). Sweating also means losing important salts, so you may feel tightening and discomfort in your muscles or stomach.
39 It is a dangerous state of extreme overheating which happens when your body gets too hot and its temperature goes over degrees Celsius. This situation of high body temperature, like heatstroke (中暑), can cause serious damage to different parts of your body, like your brain, heart, liver and kidneys and in extreme cases, even death.
If you do want to try heated exercise, there are ways to make it safer. Drinking lots of water helps stop you from getting dehydrated. 40 40 And try to wear light clothes — and take breaks when you need to!
A.But are high-temperature workouts really better?
B.The biggest risk of exercising in heat is heatstroke.
C.But why do people like high-temperature workouts?
D.Heated works may also help you burn more calories.
E.This is why many people prefer to exercise in the cool evening.
F.There are also health risks related to exercising in high temperatures.
G.Sports drinks will replace any of those important salts you lose from sweat too.

After class, John was excited that he had created a very satisfying work, thus walking to the back of the classroom to put his work away carefully. There, lying on the carpet in front of the classroom bookcase was a golden ticket! John picked it up. His heart raced wildly when he saw that the name line was blank. He couldn’t believe his luck!
The boys and girls in John’s class could earn golden tickets by doing well in their study or by being extra helpful or kind. Once a week their teacher drew a ticket out of a box on her desk and let the winner choose a prize.
Today was the golden ticket drawing, and here was another ticket, just for him! John looked around. No one else was near the ticket. All his classmates were at their desks, laughing and talking with each other. Miss Smith was engaged in grading the papers collected earlier in the morning.
John decided to write his name on the blank line. Then he could put it into the prize box with the six tickets he’d already earned. With so many chances, one of his tickets would be most likely to be picked! Then he could choose the pink toy pig for his sister’s birthday, just like he had been hoping.
He smiled and reached for the pencil in his pocket. Suddenly his fingers stopped. There was a strange feeling in his chest, and it wasn’t his heartbeat. “Finders are keepers, right?”, he wondered. He looked out of the window and tried to figure it out. On the one hand, he did find the ticket, but he hadn’t earned it. Somebody must have lost it. But on the other hand, he did need this extra ticket for his great plan!

66. Dear David,
I’m thrilled to hear about your idea of co-running a public account to promote Chinese culture. I’d love to team up with you, as it’s a perfect way to share our passion for China’s diverse traditions.
Here are my suggestions. First, we could focus on varied topics that range from traditional festivals to regional cuisine, which can attract more readers. Second, combining written posts with videos showing real cultural scenes would be effective, as visuals can better engage a wide audience. Lastly, let’s plan content monthly to ensure the account stays regular and active.
Looking forward to bringing this project to life.
Best wishes,
Li Hua

67. Paragraph 1:
John’s hand shook as he stared at the ticket. Memories flashed — his sister’s hopeful eyes when he promised the toy pig, the pride in his parents’ faces when he earned tickets through kindness. But this ticket felt different. He imagined Miss Smith’s disappointed gaze if she discovered his deceit. With a deep breath, he set the pencil down. “No,” he whispered, deciding to place the ticket where he’d found it. Just then, footsteps echoed through the hallway.Paragraph 2:
Spotting the blank line, Miss Smith asked John what he was doing there. Not daring to look straight into her eyes, John said “I almost took a ticket that wasn’t mine.”, his neck growing hot under his collar. “Honesty is the best prize.” Instead of scolding, Miss Smith pressed the golden ticket into John’s palm. The sunlight filtered through the windows to cast golden patterns on the carpet like the ticket glowing in his palm. That evening, John placed the ticket into the box. He realized the sweetest rewards are not found in shortcuts.

B(24-25学年高一下·浙江杭州·期末)
【答案】24.D 25.C 26.A 27.A
根据第一段“The journey to the trailhead was an adventure in itself — riding my motorcycle in the rain, taking buses, and finally a rubber boat to Sarah Point. (前往登山口的旅程本身就是一场冒险——雨中骑摩托车、乘巴士,最后搭乘橡皮艇到达莎拉角。)”可知,作者为了到达登山口,经历了骑摩托车、坐公交车、乘坐橡皮艇等多种交通方式。故选D项。
25.推理判断题。根据第二段“I was fascinated with all the trail had to offer. Some parts were wide and flat, while others were narrow, steep, and even overgrown. Each night, I stayed in a different hut, living a unique life each day. (我深深着迷于这条步道所带来的一切。步道有些路段宽阔平坦,而有些则狭窄陡峭,甚至草木丛生。每晚我都住在不同的小木屋里,每一天都过着独特的生活。)”可知,这次徒步旅行为作者提供了多种多样的体验,包括不同地形的路段和每晚不同的小屋住宿。故选C项。
26.推理判断题。根据第三段“When we finally met on Tin Hat Mountain, it felt like reuniting with an old friend. We laughed about how the trail had connected us before we even crossed paths. It struck me how such journeys remove pretences, leaving only human connection. (当我们最终在锡帽山相遇时,那种感觉就像与老友重逢。我们笑着谈论这条步道如何在我们相遇之前就已将彼此相连。我突然意识到,这样的旅程会卸下所有矫饰,只留下人与人之间的纯粹联结。)”可知,作者沿途不断听到关于Pierre的事,两人素未谋面却如老友重逢,他们对同一段旅程的共同参与让他们产生了联系,因此推断作者和Pierre的友谊建立在共同的徒步经历上。故选A项。
根据最后一段“The trail had changed me, teaching me to appreciate simpleness and freedom, lessons I’d carry long after the hike ended. (这条步道改变了我,教会我懂得珍惜简单与自由,而这些感悟在徒步结束后仍会长久地伴随我。)”可知,作者从这次旅行中领悟到了简单和自由的宝贵。故选A项。
C(24-25学年高一下·湖北武汉·期末)
【答案】28.D 29.D 30.A 31.C
根据划线词下文“The placebo is a pill or spray containing something harmless and ineffective, such as sugar or salt. Even though it is not genuine, the act of taking a medicine and thinking it will work causes the patient’s brain to send signals to the body that relieve some of the symptoms.( 安慰剂是一种含有无害且无效成分(如糖或盐)的药片或喷雾。尽管它并非真正的药物,但服用药物并相信其有效的行为会促使患者的大脑向身体发送信号,缓解部分症状。长期以来,人们一直认为这种效应之所以起作用,全在于其中包含的“欺骗”成分。)”可知,安慰剂效应是一种奇怪的医学现象——患者在接受一种被其误认为“真实”的虚假治疗后,病情开始好转。由此可知,counterfeit意为“假的”。故选D。
29.推理判断题。根据第二段“The first group was told the spray was just to help the scientists with their readings. The second group was told that the spray was a placebo that could reduce feelings of sadness if they believed it would.(第一组被告知喷雾只是为了帮助科学家进行测量。第二组被告知,如果他们相信的话,喷雾是一种可以减少悲伤感的安慰剂。)”可知,Darwin A. Guevarra和他的团队想要探索安慰剂对意识到其谎言的病人是否有效。故选D。
30.推理判断题。根据第三段“Co-author Jason Moser says the study shows that people don’t need to be lied to for a placebo to work. “Honest” placebos could be a way for doctors to treat patients suffering from certain conditions, such as high stress levels.(共同作者Jason Moser说,这项研究表明,人们不需要被欺骗,安慰剂就能起作用。“诚实的”安慰剂可能是医生治疗患有某些疾病的患者的一种方法,例如高压力水平的患者。)”可知,从Guevarra的研究中可以推断出,“诚实的”安慰剂可以帮助医生治疗焦虑症。故选A。
根据第一段“The placebo effect is a strange medical phenomenon — a sick person starts to feel better after being given a counterfeit treatment they’ve been told is real.(安慰剂效应是一种奇怪的医学现象——病人接受了一种他们被告知是真实的假治疗后,开始感觉好转。)”
D(24-25学年高一下·河北·期末)
【答案】32.B 33.A 34.B 35.C
第二段“Large language models (LLMs) that power tools like ChatGPT have improved robots’ ability to carry out spoken requests. However, most robots work well only in environments in which they have been trained.(大型语言模型(LLMs)为ChatGPT等工具提供了动力,提高了机器人执行语音请求的能力。然而,大多数机器人只能在训练有素的环境中工作)”通过描述大型语言模型对机器人执行语音请求能力的提升,以及大多数机器人只能在特定训练环境中工作的现状,为后文介绍新开发的π0.5 模型提供了背景信息。故选B。
33.细节理解题。根据文章第三段“The model is trained using data from an unusually wide range of sources, including many different kinds of robots working in lab and home settings, as well as plentiful data from the web, such as image and object databases.(该模型使用的数据来源异常广泛,包括在实验室和家庭环境中工作的许多不同类型的机器人,以及来自网络的大量数据,如图像和对象数据库)”可知,π0.5模型与传统模型的主要区别在于它使用了来自各种来源的数据进行训练,包括实验室和家庭环境中的机器人数据以及网络数据,而传统模型可能主要依赖于特定环境下的训练数据。故选A。
根据文章第五段“But he also says that the robots’ performance appears to improve in a predictable way as they are tested in increasing numbers of homes. This trend (趋势) is similar to how language AI performance was found to predictably improve as more data was added.(但他也表示,随着机器人在越来越多的家庭中接受测试,它们的表现似乎以一种可预测的方式得到了改善。这种趋势类似于发现随着添加更多数据,语言人工智能的性能可以预测地提高)”可知,更多的家庭测试有助于改进π0.5 模型驱动的机器人。故选B。
35.推理判断题。根据文章最后一段“‘The videos they show are quite impressive,’ says Pedro Lima at the University of Lisbon in Portugal. However, the robots perform their tasks at least five times slower than a human, sometimes taking 10 to 15 minutes to finish, which could be difficult to improve, he says.(‘他们展示的视频令人印象深刻,’葡萄牙里斯本大学的Pedro Lima说。

36.由上文“And some people even think adding heat is a good way to get a better workout — like in hot yoga or hot Pilates, which are done in rooms as hot as 38 degrees Celsius. (有些人甚至认为,增加热量是进行更好锻炼的好方法——比如在高温瑜伽或高温普拉提中,这些运动是在高达38摄氏度的房间里进行的。)”及下文“The answer isn’t as simple as a yes or no. There may be some benefits of exercising in high temperatures. (答案并不是简单的 “是” 或 “否”。在高温下锻炼可能有一些好处。)”和“But before you turn the heat up, it’s not all good news. Sweating also means losing important salts, so you may feel tightening and discomfort in your muscles or stomach. (因为身体出汗更多,所以很容易脱水。出汗也意味着失去重要的盐分,所以你可能会感到肌肉或胃部紧绷和不适。)”可知,本空应指出高温锻炼也存在健康风险,F选项“There are also health risks related to exercising in high temperatures. (在高温下锻炼也存在健康风险。)”能承上启下,符合题意。故选F。

第二节(满分25分)
67.(24-25学年高一下·湖南长沙·期末)阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。
注意:
1.续写词数应为150左右;
Paragraph 1:
John’s hand shook as he stared at the ticket.
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Paragraph 2:
Spotting the blank line, Miss Smith asked John what he was doing there.
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
