These days, quite a lot of people feel worried because they have so plenty of things to do every day. It’s really important to learn how to deal with problems and find helpful ways to feel calm. The following methods can help you a lot.
One good way to deal with problems is to put them in order from the ones that matter most to the ones that matter least. We should also think about which ones need to be done right away and which ones can wait. For example, if we have a test tomorrow, we should study first because it’s both important and needs to be done soon. After that, we can work on things like getting ready for a book report. When we finish those, we can solve other problems. Doing this helps us know what to do first and stops us from being too worried about everything else.
In our daily lives, we get stressed from time to time because we can’t do a job by ourselves. It’s better to ask someone to help us. If we keep trying to do it alone, we might feel more worried and unhappy. So, it’s okay to speak out and ask for help.
Even if we organize our work well, we might still not feel peaceful. That’s very usual. We can try to do some simple exercises every day. It doesn’t have to be hard or take a long time. Maybe just taking a short walk can help.
One more thing we can do is meditation. We just need to find 10 to 20 minutes to sit quietly, clear our minds, close our eyes and pay attention to our breath.
By trying these ways, we can start to feel relaxed and peaceful. We can finish all the work we have to do easily.
根据材料内容选择最佳答案,并将其标号填入题前括号内。

Have you ever felt embarrassed because you forgot something important? Maybe you tried to introduce someone but forgot their name, or hid something and couldn’t remember where it was. Don’t worry. Most people have these moments. The good news is: memory can be improved! 36
First, stay calm. When you’re nervous about forgetting, you’re more likely to forget. 37 Being relaxed helps you focus better. Tell yourself, “I can remember this.” A calm mind works better.
Second, think positively. If you keep saying, “My memory is bad,” your brain will believe it! 38 When you forget something, don’t blame yourself. Just say, “I’ll try to remember next time.“ Positive thoughts help your memory stay strong.
Third, practice using your memory. The more you exercise your brain, the better it gets at remembering. For example, if you’re learning English, try to memorize new words every day. Or when you meet someone new, repeat their name in your mind a few times. 39
Fourth, connect new information with what you know. Our brains remember things better when they’re linked to something familiar. For example, if you need to remember to bring a book to school, imagine the book on your desk. Or if you have to catch a bus at 3 o’clock, picture the number “3” in your mind. 40
Forgetting happens to everyone, but you can train your memory to get better. Just stay relaxed, think positively, practice often, and make connections. Your memory will become a powerful tool!

Dear Peter,
Your letter reached me with pleasure. I’m so happy that the “Foreign Cultures” section in our newspaper will recommend Chinese traditional culture.
In my opinion, Chinese calligraphy best represents our culture. It’s not just beautiful writing but also reflects China’s history, philosophy, and artistic spirit. Each stroke carries deep meaning, showing harmony between mind and hand.
To promote Chinese culture effectively, we can:
1. Organize cultural workshops—like calligraphy or paper-cutting classes—to let students experience it firsthand.
2. Use social media to share short videos of traditional festivals, such as the Spring Festival, making the content fun and engaging.
I’d love to help further!
Yours,
Li Hua
