What's the crater(环形山)like on the Moon? What's the name of the shining star? Everyone would be curious about the sky. And it can be really a fun activity to look at and study stars, the Moon and planets.
We are the Astronomy(天文学)Club and we watch the sky. Usually at school, we study how stars move, learn names of stars and the stories behind them. And sometimes, we would come to the planetarium(天文馆) or the countryside to watch stars together.
The most amazing activity in our club is to watch stars at night, of course, using a pair of binoculars(双筒望远镜). We have found a place where there aren't too many lights. We will camp there and watch stars once a month or once two months. We use a diary to record and learn about how stars move. We'll also watch the Moon and try drawing it on different days of the month.
Come to join in our meeting about the sky in Room 501 on Wednesdays. The more you see, the more you will want to learn!

Starting a volunteer club at school isn't easy. But with good ideas and the right knowledge(知识), you can do it too. Let me tell you how to do it.
Decide what you want to do. For example, you can start a club to volunteer once a week at a soup kitchen in your neighbourhood. Ask around and see what your friends think of your idea, and if they would like to join your club. When you have enough support(支持), you're ready to start.
Because your volunteer club is at school, it's better to get a teacher's support. He or she can help you organize events and be a liaison(联系人)with the school.
After the school lets you start the club, you need a place to have meetings. Most clubs meet in classrooms after school. You can also think about meeting at someone's house or at a park or restaurant.
Talk with other members(成员) and then choose a proper day when most members will be free.
Once you have enough members in your club, start volunteering! You can decide on events yourself, or have a meeting to get other members' ideas.
It's common to have some trouble when you start a volunteer club. But don't give it up easily. You will have much fun in the end.
