宾语从句(一)
概念
在复合句中,由一个句子充当宾语(位于动词或介词后),这个句子叫作宾语从句。
从句是陈述句时,用that引导,that在口语或非正式文体中常省略。

从句是一般疑问句时,可用if/whether引导,if/whether意为“是否”,一般情况下可互换。

主句为一般现在时,从句的时态视客观需要而定。
如:I hear Joe left for Beijing yesterday.
需要性原则
我听说乔昨天动身去北京了。
主句是过去时态,从句相应地用过去的某种时态。
Jane said she was shopping at this time yesterday.
简说她昨天这个时候在购物。
时态
呼应性原则
①从句表示客观事实、真理或自然现象,无论主句是什么时态,从句都用一般现在时。
特殊性原则
Our teacher said that light travels faster than sound
我们的老师说光比声音传播得快。
②情态动词could/would/用于请求,表示委婉、客气的语气时,从句时态不受主句的限制。
如:Could you tell me where the nearest hospital is?你能告诉我最近的医院在哪里吗?
只用whether不用if的四种情况
①直接与or noti连用时
Idon't know whether or not she will marry me.我不知道她是否会嫁给我。
②当从句作介词的宾语时。
Idon't care about whether I can make much money.我不在乎是否会挣很多钱。
③与不定式连用时。
She hasn't decided whether to accept or refuse.她还没决定是接受还是拒绝。
④当宾语从句移至句首表示强调时。
Whether you have been to France,.Ican't remember.你是否去过法国,我都不记得了o
感叹句
概念
用来表达强烈感情或情绪的句子叫感叹句,通常由what或how引导,感叹句用陈述句语序,
句末用叹号。
