However, scientists warn such popular videos may hurt real wildlife protection and spread wrong ideas about nature.(你是否曾在网上刷到过令人驻足好奇的动物视频? 故选A。

33.细节理解题。根据第四段“Much of this growth has been driven by parents seeking personalized, flexible training options that fit into increasingly busy family schedules. Rather than signing up for seasonal or year-round programs, families are choosing to book single sessions based on their child’s needs and availability — often working directly with former collegiate or professional athletes in their local area.(这种增长很大程度上源于家长们寻求个性化、灵活的培训选择,以适配日益繁忙的家庭日程。家庭不再报名参加季度或全年课程,而是根据孩子的需求和时间预约单次课程,而且通常能直接联系到当地的大学退役运动员或职业运动员)”可知,家长们更喜欢按需教练模式是因为它符合孩子的需求和繁忙的日程安排。故选C。
34.推理判断题。根据最后一段“Whether you’re a parent looking for flexible training options or an ex-athlete figuring out your next chapter, the message is clear: Coaching, like almost everything else, is going on-demand and that will benefit more people.(无论你是寻找灵活训练方式的家长,还是正在规划下一章的前运动员,信息都很明确:教练,就像几乎所有其他事物一样,正在走向按需服务,这将使更多人受益)”可知,作者认为新的教练模式将使更多人受益,由此可推断作者对新教练模式持赞赏的态度。故选B。
35.主旨大意题。通读全文,尤其是根据第一段“But as technology continues to reshape the way we work, learn, and connect, the world of youth sports training is getting its own upgrade.(但随着科技继续重塑我们的工作、学习和联系方式,青少年体育训练的世界也在进行自己的升级)”可知,文章主要讲述了科技正在改变体育训练的方式,包括体育训练的平台化给家庭和前运动员带来的好处以及人们对新教练模式的认可。“Technology Is Changing Sports Coaching(科技正在改变体育教练行业)”符合题意。故选A。

39.根据上文“This introduces interest, bank statements, and the idea that money can work for them, even when they’re not touching it.(这会让他们了解到利息、银行对账单,以及即便不直接接触金钱,金钱也能为他们产生收益这一概念)”可知上文介绍了带孩子去银行开户的好处,A项“It also gives them pride in ownership(这也让他们对拥有感感到自豪)”进一步说明了带孩子去银行开户的另一个好处,即让他们有拥有感并感到自豪,与上文是并列关系,故选A项。
40.根据下文“Teaching the difference between needs and wants is one of the most important lessons in money management.(教导孩子区分需求和欲望是金钱管理中最重要的一课之一)”指出要教导孩子区分需求和欲望,B项“Help them tell needs and wants apart(帮助他们区分需求和欲望)”表示的含义符合语境,故选B项。

67.例文:
He turned to the first page of the notebook and looked at the name on it. It was Sophia’s name, written in the same small and careful handwriting as the message. Leo’s heart sank suddenly, filled with deep guilt. He thought of the day he mocked her accent, the way she lowered her head in embarrassment, and how she had been alone every day since then. Yet she still helped him when he was in trouble, without a single complaint or mention of his past mistake. He clutched the notebook tightly, his eyes burning with regret, determined to apologize to her sincerely.
From that day on, Leo and Sophia’s relationship changed a lot. Leo gave up his playful and rude ways, and he often went to the library to accompany Sophia during lunchtime. He would ask her for help with math patiently, and in return, he helped her practice her spoken English to get rid of the strange accent. The invisible wall between them disappeared gradually. They became good friends, sharing joys and sorrows with each other. Leo finally realized that true friendship comes from kindness and respect, not mockery.

It’s no wonder that the first school day of my senior high school was so impressive. When I woke up in the morning, there was only one thing on my mind: what to wear. A billion thoughts appeared through my brain. Not only was it my first day of high school, but it was my first day of school in a new state; the first impression is everything, and it was important for me to impress the people who I would spend the next three years with.
After carefully searching my closet, I proudly came out in a dress from Target. The soft cotton was comfortable, and the specially designed shoulders added a little fun. Yes, this dress was the one. An hour later, I felt powerful as I headed toward Room 1136. But as I entered class, my jaw dropped to the floor.
Sitting at her desk was Mrs Hutfilz, my English teacher, wearing exactly the same dress as me. I kept my head down and tiptoed (踮着脚走) to my seat. I made it through my simple introduction speech until Mrs Hutfilz stood up, jokingly saying that she liked my style. Although this was the moment I had been afraid of from the moment I walked in, all my anxiety surprisingly melted away, and the students paid attention as I shared my story. My smile spread across my face as I laughed with the students. After class, I stayed behind, talked to Mrs Hutfilz and made a humorous and real conversation.
Looking back four years later, the ten minutes I spent afraid of giving my speech were really not worth it. My first period of high school certainly made the day unforgettable in the best way and taught me that Mrs Hutfilz had a brilliant sense of style!

C.To show her teacher’s brilliant sense of style.
D.To prove the importance of the first impression.

Have you ever seen an animal video online that made you stop and wonder? Videos showing a wolf taking care of a rabbit, or a lion walking calmly through a small town are now spreading widely. This is possible because of AI technology. However, scientists warn such popular videos may hurt real wildlife protection and spread wrong ideas about nature.
A study in Conservation Biology points out that AI-generated (AI生成的) animal videos create an untrue world, leading to wrong ideas about animal behavior and broadening the gap between people and nature. Co-author José Guerrero-Casado stresses the danger of false information. For example, videos showing birds killing “bad” snakes might make people less willing to protect snakes, and create false ideas about animals that are already in danger.
The effect on children is especially worrying. These videos can give them wrong ideas about how people and animals really get along. When children discover that real-world animals do not act as they do in these made-up videos, it can have the opposite result, finally making them feel less connected to nature. This risk grows as young people increasingly turn to social media for information.
So, how can one recognize these videos? Experts suggest looking for a few signs: unnatural animal movements that appear too smooth or seem impossible in real life; light and shadows that do not look quite right; and small details like fur or feathers that appear unclear or repeat in an unusual way.
To deal with these risks, the research team suggests putting more effort into education, like teaching media literacy (素养) in schools. As another co-author Francisco Sánchez says, the goal is to make sure “children learn early that there are no lions living here.” While they think this is important, the researchers also say that school lessons alone cannot stop the spread of false information made by AI. This leads to an important question about who else in society needs to help solve this problem, if school education is not enough.
28.How does the author present the issue in the first paragraph?
A.By giving examples. B.By making a comparison.
C.By quoting an expert. D.By sharing an experience.

D.They create a false understanding of nature.
30.What is the author’s attitude towards AI-generated animal videos?
A.Supportive. B.Indifferent.
C.Concerned. D.Doubtful.
31.What will the author most probably discuss next?

In the past, finding a private sports coach often meant word-of-mouth referrals, expensive training equipment, and longtime scheduling. But as technology continues to reshape the way we work, learn, and connect, the world of youth sports training is getting its own upgrade.
Just as Uber reimagined transportation, new digital platforms are now decentralizing (使分散) the $20 billion youth sports industry, giving families more direct access to qualified coaches — and providing former athletes with flexible opportunities after their playing careers (职业) end. It is comforting to see that the time of on-demand coaching comes.
This model, often referred to as the “platformization” of sports training, is catching on fast. Rather than having to pay for year-round training fees or expensive academies, families can now access high-quality coaching one session (一节) at a time — often from athletes who have competed at the highest levels. The data from Athletes Untapped, an on-demand coaching platform, shows a great increase in the number of youth training sessions booked online between 2018 and 2024. The sharp rise reflects increasing comfort with using digital tools to find and schedule specialized coaching, in line with consumer trends (趋势) seen in fitness, tutoring, and other service fields.
Much of this growth has been driven by parents seeking personalized, flexible training options that fit into increasingly busy family schedules. Rather than signing up for seasonal or year-round programs, families are choosing to book single sessions based on their child’s needs and availability — often working directly with former collegiate or professional athletes in their local area.
Former athletes get a meaningful, flexible path forward. And the game itself? It gets to live on in new forms. Further analysis of platform data shows which sports are driving the most interest in private coaching. Basketball, soccer, baseball, and volleyball rank as the most-booked disciplines on Athletes Untapped, consistent with broader youth sports participation trends in the U.S.
But the bigger takeaway? The way we think about skill-building is changing. Kids want coaches they connect with. Parents want transparency and trust. And both want access — without the red tape. Whether you’re a parent looking for flexible training options or an ex-athlete figuring out your next chapter, the message is clear: Coaching, like almost everything else, is going on-demand and that will benefit more people.
32.What benefit does the platformization of sports training bring?
A.Reducing the number of youth athletes.
B.Replacing all traditional sports academies.
C.Focusing only on team-based sports training.
D.Offering families access to high-level coaches.
33.Why do parents prefer the on-demand coaching model according to the text?
A.It requires year-round training programs.
B.It provides training only on weekends.
C.It fits their children’s needs and busy schedules.
D.It focuses on physical fitness rather than skills.
34.What is the author’s attitude to new coaching models?
A.Doubtful. B.Appreciative.
C.Uncaring. D.Unclear.
35.What is the best title for the text?
A.Technology Is Changing Sports Coaching
B.Professional Athletes Serve as Good Coaches
C.Traditional Coaching Methods Are Still the Best Choice Today
D.The Differences Between Traditional Coaching and On-Demand Coaching

Teaching financial skills early isn’t optional anymore, and it’s essential. Kids are surrounded by ads, digital payments, and peer(同龄人) pressure before they even hit middle school. If they don’t learn how money works now, they’ll pay for it later. 36
Introduce money early with simple concepts.
Start with the basics, let them hold money, count change at the store, and watch how things are bought. This isn’t about teaching lessons. 37 Show how a dollar bill turns into a snack. That’s the first building block of financial confidence.
Use a piggy bank to teach saving habits.
A piggy bank isn’t just a cute decoration. It’s a child’s first savings account. 38 The goal is to show how money builds up over time. Watching the bank fill up becomes its own reward(回报). It teaches patience. And it starts a habit that beats unreasonable buying before it even begins.
Open a savings account in the bank.
Go with them to the bank. Let them meet the teller. Make it feel like a milestone. This introduces interest, bank statements, and the idea that money can work for them, even when they’re not touching it. 39 The money no longer belongs to the parents. The kids start seeing it as their own, and that shift is powerful.

Teaching the difference between needs and wants is one of the most important lessons in money management. Use real - life moments like grocery runs or online wish lists. Ask, “Do we need this, or do we just like it?” Once kids start asking themselves that question, they build self-control. And that skill pays off for life.
A.It also gives them pride in ownership.
B.Help them tell needs and wants apart.
C.Explain why you don’t buy everything they ask for.
D.Let your kid store birthday money or spare change in it.
E.It’s about connecting everyday moments to how money works.
F.They begin to understand that money can be used to make life better.
G.Here are some simple, real-life ways to help kids get smart with money.

The classroom fell quiet after the new girl named Sophia finished answering a question. Her words carried a strange accent (口音). Suddenly, a loud laugh broke the silence. Leo, the boy from the back row, was copying her accent perfectly. The room was filled with laughter. Sophia didn’t say a word. She just looked down, her ears turning red, and tried to write something in her notebook.
From that day on, Sophia became silent. She spoke only when called upon and spent every lunchtime alone in the library. Leo’s world was the opposite — full of friends, basketball, and noise. He soon forgot about the incident, but an invisible wall remained between them.
Then, on a rainy Tuesday after school, something unexpected happened. Leo had stayed late to practice basketball alone. Jumping for a score, he landed badly and fell heavily to the ground. He tried to stand up but failed again and again, pain shooting through his ankle.
Just then, Sophia walked past the court, her head buried in a book. She heard his sharp cry and looked up. Seeing Leo on the ground, she hesitated (犹豫) only a second before walking towards him. She didn’t smile or speak much. Silently, she helped him up, supporting his weight as they moved slowly across the wet court. Step by step, she guided him towards the school gate where he could call for help.
The next week, Leo returned to school on crutches (拐杖), struggling to move between desks. He couldn’t keep up with the lessons. One morning, he found a simple notebook waiting on his desk. Inside were perfect math notes, covering every topic he had missed, with clear explanations and example problems. At the top, in small, careful handwriting, was the only message: “The key points are underlined.” Leo looked around the classroom, wondering who had left this quiet gift.
