Different people have different cures for colds. In some
countries, people might eat chicken soup to feel better. Some
线
people take hot baths and drink warm drinks.Other people take
the medicine to stop the fever. There is one interesting thing to
note-some scientists say taking the medicine when you have a
cold is actually bad for you.The virus stays in you longer be-
cause your body doesn't have a way to fight it or kill it.Bodies
can do an amazing job on their own.

big turning points in human history.Harari also asks interest-

are just "stories"we all believe in together. It's an easy-to-
read book that makes you think differently about history.
Happy reading!

What things are acceptable when you are at the dinner ta-
ble and what things are serious breaches()of manners?
I will tell you some of the most important American table
manners. When you sit down to eat,you should place the nap-
kin()across your lap.You should never talk with your
mouth full and should chew (with your mouth closed. If
someone asks you a question while you are chewing, you should

place them on a spare plate.Besides, only put food on someone
else's plate if they ask for it.And if they say they don't want
anything else to eat or drink, then you shouldn't give them any-
thing else.Never use your knife or fork to point at others be-
cause it is rude.
In China,I know it's rude to point with your chopsticks.

put drinks in their glasses even after they have said they don't
want any more. It's fine to drop the scraps onto the table.Be-
sides, talking while you're eating is okay.

How to Protect Ourselves in an Earthquake at School
Life is not easy.As students,we should learn how to
protect ourselves in an earthquake at school.
In class,we should calm down when an earthquake
happens.Shouting and crying are useless. We must follow
the teacher's guidance.Second,we should stay under
our desks with our schoolbags on our heads.Third,we
mustn't jump out of the building.
If we are outside the classroom, move to the play-
ground quickly.Use hands to cover our heads when we
run to the playground. It can prevent us from being in-
jured.Lastly,we should help each other.Only in this way
can we overcome the difficulty.
We should remember these ways and they can help us.
