· 元音字母发音:
开音节(如“元辅e”结构或“辅元”结尾)中,元音字母发字母本身音,如“name”中“a”发/eɪ/,“she”中“e”发/iː/。
闭音节(“元辅”结构)中,元音字母发短音,如“cat”中“a”发/æ/,“egg”中“e”发/e/。
· 字母组合发音:
常见组合如“ee”发/iː/(如“see”),“ea”发/e/或/iː/(如“meat”“tea”),“ow”发/au/(如“cow”)或/ou/(如“snow”),“oo”发/ʊ/(如“book”)或/uː/(如“food”)。
