We all need food. In this unit, we explored the relationship between food and our lives. How does food make us feel? What are healthy eating habits?

This dish is pizza. It looks colourful with all kinds of toppings on it. It smells amazing and tastes rich and yummy. It is also healthy if we put lots of vegetables on it.

It’s a famous dish all around the world. It came from Italy many years ago. Now you can eat it in almost every country.

History and culture
People started to make pizza in Italy hundreds of years ago. Folk tales have it that poor people first made simple flat bread with vegetables on top. Now pizza is seen as a symbol of global food culture.
Health benefits
We need carbohydrates and vegetables for our bodies to work well. The vegetables on pizza are good for our daily energy and keep our bodies active.
