根据开头“Tom was known as the ‘forgetful boy’”,被称为“健忘的男孩”,说明他经常忘记东西,故选forgot。
treasure(珍宝)、dream(梦想)、gift(礼物)都不能体现桌面的凌乱。
后文多次出现rock,如“I must remember to find a rock!”
空前是“he forgot”,空后是“about it”,需要一个副词修饰forgot。 hardly(几乎不)、secretly(秘密地)、patiently(耐心地)都不合逻辑。
parents(父母)、teachers(老师)、guides(导游)都不会在教室里展示石头准备科学活动。
excited(兴奋的)、sleepy(困倦的)、relaxed(放松的)都与此时的心情相反。
touched(触摸)、nodded(点头)、cleaned(清洁)都不符合“sadly”传递的情绪。
lost(丢失)、sold(卖掉)、returned(归还)都不能说明石头在Mike包里这个事实。
Or(或者)、Until(直到)、After(之后)均不符合语境。
Mike分享石头是帮助Tom,他用“We’re friends”来解释自己的行为,help each other(互相帮助)直接点明友谊的真谛。miss(错过)、visit(拜访)、teach(教)均不符合语境。
private(私人的)、dangerous(危险的)、common(普通的)都无法与“含有特殊矿物”形成赞美。
louder(更大声)、lower(更低)、higher(更高)都不能修饰“努力记住”这个动作。
stop(停止)、praise(赞扬)、protect(保护)均不符合语境。
waited for(等待)、looked for(寻找)、heard of(听说)都不能表达睹物思人的情感。

以及第一段中句子“I am leashed”“please make sure I am leashed at all times”使用的是第一人称,表明叙述者是一只狗。
文中明确列出的规则有多条,其中“ Do not let your dog dig on the ground.”与选项C中的“No digging on the ground.”

At 80, Cai Gao, the first Chinese illustrator (插画家) to win the famous Hans Christian Andersen Award, still has a childlike heart. She gets a lot of inspiration (灵感) from her childhood memories. She is good at noticing small things in life and has a rich imagination, which makes her works warm and lively.
For more than 50 years, Cai has been making illustrations for children. She turns many things in life—such as wind, stars in nature and traditional Chinese heroes—into simple stories that children can easily understand. Her famous work Bao’er is changed from a classic story in the Qing Dynasty. It not only has nice pictures, but also tells children an important truth: being brave and kind can help us get through all difficulties.
Besides retelling traditional stories, Cai also likes to record her daily life and warm moments in her books. She takes a diary with her every day, and each small illustration in the diary is like a “seed (种子)” for her future works. For example, her work How I Came to Be Me is based on her diary. It records the warm moments she spent with her grandson after he was born.
Cai thinks that the best things in the world should be given to children. She often tells people that everyone has a childlike heart, and the key is to protect it.
19. What makes Cai Gao’s works warm and lively?
A. Her experience of living in the city. B. Her habit of reading many books every day.

第一段中提到“She is good at noticing small things in life and has a rich imagination, which makes her works warm and lively.”,这说明蔡皋善于观察生活中的小事并富有想象力,这使她的作品温暖而生动,所以选项D“Her ability to notice small things and rich imagination.”正确。
第二段中提到“Her famous work Bao’er is changed from a classic story in the Qing Dynasty.”,这说明《宝儿》改编自清代的一个经典故事,所以选项C“It comes from a classic story in the Qing Dynasty.”正确。
第三段中提到“each small illustration in the diary is like a ‘seed’ for her future works.”,蔡皋把日记中的小插画比作“种子”,是因为这些插画会成长/发展为未来的作品 (书籍),所以选项B“These illustrations will grow into future books.”正确。

In the mountainous areas of Hainan Province, getting medical help used to be a big challenge. For example, Cheng Chuanhe, a villager from Qiongzhong County, needed a blood test, but the local clinic (诊所) didn’t have the needed tools. In the past, he would have had to make a long and tiring trip.
Now, drones (无人机) are changing this situation. In 2022, Qiongzhong built a county-wide medical system to help local people. However, 80% of the land is covered by mountains, which makes travel arduous. That’s when drone technology came to help. In June 2025, Hainan’s first low-altitude medical drone network started to work. Two drones fly along four different paths, connecting 15 town health centers.
So how does it work? First, a doctor at a local health center takes a patient’s blood sample (样本). Then, a drone is prepared at a nearby drone base. A worker completes the pre-flight checks. With a simple touch on a screen, the drone takes off and follows a preset path. When it arrives at the health center, a doctor puts the blood sample inside. In just over 40 minutes, the sample reaches the county hospital. About two hours later, the test result is sent back to the local clinic through the government’s online platform.
These special drones can fly up to 30 kilometers, carry up to 9 kilograms of medical goods, and are very easy to control. Thanks to this “air path”, lab samples, emergency medicines, and other medical supplies now reach mountain villages quickly and safely.
22. Why does the writer mention Cheng Chuanhe at the beginning of the passage?
A. To show he is a famous doctor. B. To describe a real-life example of the problem.
C. To explain how to drive a drone. D. To tell readers that mountain life is interesting.
23. The underlined word “arduous” in Paragraph 2 probably means “________”.
A. difficult B. safe C. simple D. peaceful
24. What is the correct order of the steps in Hainan’s medical drone network?
a. Fly to the hospital. b. Get the drone ready. c. Take a blood sample. d. Send the drone to get the sample.
A. a→b→c→d B. b→c→a→d C. c→b→d→a D. c→a→d→b
25. What is the best title for this passage?
A. How to Take a Blood Sample Correctly B. A Hainan Mountain Villager Lives a Very Simple Life
C. A Simple Guide to Flying a Medical Drone Safely D. Drones Bring Better Health Care to Mountain Villages
B 23. A 24. C 25. D
第二段“80% of the land is covered by mountains”暗示山路难行。
根据第三段步骤:“takes a patient’s blood sample”对应c;“a drone is prepared”对应b;“the drone takes off... a doctor puts the blood sample inside”指出按预设路线去取血液样本,对应d;“...the sample reaches the county hospital”血液样本送往医院,对应a。所以顺序为c→b→d→a。
I recently had a moment of fear. Lost in the rain on my way to meet an old friend for a movie, I realized my phone battery (电池) was about to die. “Meet me on the north side of the street,” he texted. “I don’t know what that means!” I replied, feeling helpless as my screen went dark. ____26____
U. S. researcher Margaret Tarampi said, “We might be born with some sense of direction, but it’s able to be trained.” ____27____ For example, in my hometown, there’s a mountain that’s basically north of the city. We can use it to find our way.
____28____ But research shows that depending on it too much can weaken our sense of direction. Some experts even suggest people get rid of GPS and go back to paper maps. Tarampi disagrees. She says the real problem isn’t the technology itself, but how we use it.
Instead of blindly following the little blue arrow (箭头), Tarampi suggests we pay attention to the landmarks around us and match them with what’s on the map. ____29____ This can help us build mental connections between places. I tried this recently and it really helped.
Finally, Tarampi advises people with a terrible sense of direction to “get out, get lost and go exploring”. ____30____ Don’t be afraid. Sometimes, getting lost is just another way of finding yourself.
A. Besides, try taking different ways to the same place.
B. All I could do was stand there and wait for him to find me.
C. These days, many of us can’t go anywhere without GPS.
D. The best way to improve our direction-finding skills is simply to go.
E. A good sense of direction is something you are either born with or not.
F. Knowing where to go mostly means paying attention to what’s around you.
B 27. F 28. C 29. A 30. D
B“All I could do was stand there and wait for him to find me.”
根据上文Tarampi说的“We might be born with some sense of direction, but it’s able to be trained.”,此处引出对“方向感”的核心定义。选项F“Knowing where to go mostly means paying attention to what’s around you.”
C“These days, many of us can’t go anywhere without GPS.”
A“Besides, try taking different ways to the same place.”
D“The best way to improve our direction-finding skills is simply to go.”

We’ve all heard about the man who discovered gravity and the apple that fell from a tree and hit him on the head. However, the 17th-century “aha moment” is actually a bit of a lie! Newton did see an apple falling from a tree one day and this got him to think about what actually caused the apple to fall to the ground.
Newton is known not only for discovering gravity but also for discovering the three laws of motion. These three laws explain how things move.
Law 1: An object at rest stays at rest. A moving object keeps moving. Objects continue doing what they’re doing unless a stronger force acts on them.
Here, the stronger force is the wall. It stops the truck but not the boxes, so they keep moving backward.
Law 2: It takes more force to move a heavy object than to move a lighter object. Newton came up with a scientific formula to explain this: Force = Mass × Acceleration.
Large weights with a lot of mass require more force to lift than smaller, lighter weights do.
Law 3: For every force, there is an equal reaction in the opposite direction.
Air from an untied balloon rushes out in one direction. As the air comes out, it pushes the balloon in the opposite direction.
Word bank: gravity (重力); motion (运动); mass (质量); equal reaction (相等的反作用力)
46. What did Newton think about after he saw the apple fall?
He thought about ________.
47. What did Newton discover besides gravity according to the text?
He also discovered ________.
48. What happens to an untied balloon when the air rushes out of it?
The balloon moves ________.
49. Which English word in the text means “公式”?
It is “________”.
