原文提到 “10 people died in the flood”,其中died对应题干中的lost their lives,因此死亡人数为10人。
原文明确说明 “The flood first appeared in the south of the village”,可直接定位答案。
原文提到“Policemen arrived there soon. People from other villages sent clothes, food and water”,说明人们得到了外界帮助,故A错。
