83 范文:
The 2026 Jiangxi Biology and Geography Exam is coming soon. I think it is one of the most important exams for us Grade Eight students. It is not only a key test to check our learning results but also helps us build a solid foundation for our future study.
During the preparation period, I feel great study pressure. I often worry that I can’t remember all the key knowledge points and might fail the exam, which makes me a little anxious from time to time.
To deal with the pressure properly, I usually listen to light music after long hours of study to relax my mind. I also spend 15 minutes exercising every afternoon, such as running or walking. These ways help me stay calm and study more efficiently, and I’m confident that I can perform well in the exam.

Nowadays, big data is widely used in our daily life, which can collect our online habits and

automatically ()For most middle school students,it is common to use at least two or three such
apps every day to finish homework or practice skills. It makes our study and life more convenient,so it
has become quite popular among teenagers.
However, this convenient technology also brings a serious problem:privacy()protection,
because when we use these apps, they may quietly collect our personal information without our
permission, such as our real-time position, browsing history (and even family information.
Most middle school students hardly notice this risk,so they may share their personal data online
without thinking twice, for example, filling in their real name and phone number to get free study
materials.
To deal with the problem above,we should leamn to use apps wisely, which means we must not
give our personal information to strangers online. We can also check the app's privacy rules before we
use it,to make sure it will not misuse our data.We should also stop using apps that ask for unnecessary
personal data.

licroplastics(微塑料):The Hidden Environmental Problem
Plastic pollution has always been a serious problem in the world.According to New Scientist in
February,2024,microplastics,tiny plastic pieces less than 5 millimeters, have become one of the most
worrying environmental problems today. They are too small for people to see easily, yet they have
spread widely across the Eathin Antarctic snow, deep ocean water, soil, and even our daily food and
drinking water.
Microplastics bring great harm to living things and the whole environment.Sea animals often take
microplastics as food by mistake. After eating them, the animals feel full and refuse real food, which
finally causes health problems or even death. For humans, microplastics can enter our bodies through
food and water.Although scientists are still researching their long-term influence on human health,we
have already known clearly that they are harmful.
Where do these microplastics come from? Most of them come from daily plastic waste.Large
plastic bags and bottles slowly break down into tiny pieces in nature.Besides, washing clothes with
chemical fibers(化学纤维),using certain beauty products and the running of car tires(轮胎)will also
produce plenty of microplastics.
However, there are still useful ways to fight against microplastic pollution. As middle school
students,we can start with small changes in life:cut down the use of single-use plastics, such as plastic
cups and straws;choose clothes made from natural materials like cotton. At the same time,
governments and factories should make strict rules and develop green new materials to reduce plastic
pollution.
Solving microplastic pollution is not an easy job and it takes a long time. But with joint efforts
from everyone,we can surely protect our living planet better.
68.What are microplastics according to the first paragraph?
A.Large plastic bags and plastic bottles
B.Tiny plastic pieces smaller than 5 millimeters
C.A kind of special food for sea animals
D.Visible waste in the deep ocean
69.What can we infer from Paragraph 2?
A.Microplastics only do harm to sea animals
B.Scientists have known all the harm of microplastics.
C.Microplastics are bad for both animals and humans
D.Humans can stay away from microplastics easily.
70.Which of the following sentence is an opinion?
A.Microplastics are less than 5 millimeters in size
B.It is meaningful for us to fight against microplastic pollution.
C.Car tires can produce microplastics while running.
D.Microplastics can be found in our daily drinking water
71.What is the main idea of Paragraph 3?
A.The great harm of microplastics

C.The causes of microplastic pollution
D.The ways to solve plastic pollution
72.What is the writer's purpose of writing this passage?
A.To introduce different kinds of natural pollution.

C.To show how sea animals live in the deep ocean.

Songkran:Thailand's Water Festival of New Beginnings
If you've dreamed of a holiday where getting wet is not only allowed but also encouraged,
Thailand's Songkran Festival is for you.73.
Known as the "Water Festival,"it is
Thailand's most important traditional festival and marks the start of the Thai New Year.
Songkran takes place every year from April 13 to 15,though celebrations often last a week or
more in popular tourist areas.74.
On the first day, called "Maha Songkran,"Thais clean
their homes to sweep away bad luck from the past year. The second day,"Wan Nao,"is for preparing
for the new year, while the third day,"Wan Thaloeng Sok,"brings new beginnings.
75.
While many know Songkran for its water fights,it has deep traditional
meanings.Thais go to temples and pour clean water over Buddha statues to pray for good luck. They
also pour water gently on elders'hands to show respect and ask for their advice and good wishes.
The water fights, however, are what make Songkran world-famous.76.

Nowadays, big data is widely used in our daily life, which can collect our online habits and learning information to offer us proper help. Many study apps can recommend suitable lessons to us according to our weak points, while smart wearable devices can record our daily health data automatically (自动地). For most middle school students, it is common to use at least two or three such apps every day to finish homework or practice skills. It makes our study and life more convenient, so it has become quite popular among teenagers.
However, this convenient technology also brings a serious problem: privacy(隐私) protection, because when we use these apps, they may quietly collect our personal information without our permission, such as our real-time position, browsing history (浏览历史) and even family information. Most middle school students hardly notice this risk, so they may share their personal data online without thinking twice, for example, filling in their real name and phone number to get free study materials.
To deal with the problem above, we should learn to use apps wisely, which means we must not give our personal information to strangers online. We can also check the app’s privacy rules before we use it, to make sure it will not misuse our data. We should also stop using apps that ask for unnecessary personal data.
In fact, big data itself is not bad. The key is whether we can protect our privacy while enjoying its convenience. We should use new technology properly to make it serve us well, instead of letting it bring us hidden risks.
63.What can big data do according to Paragraph 1?
A.It can help students get suitable learning advice.
B. It can steal students’ personal information easily.

D. This convenient technology fail to record health data.
65. What’s the logical structure of the passage?
(①=Paragraph 1 ②=Paragraph 2 ③=Paragraph 3 ④=Paragraph 4)
A. ①/②③/④ B. ①/②/③④ C. ①②/③/④ D. ①②/③④
66. Which of the following is TRUE according to the passage?
A. Middle school students seldom use study apps to finish homework.
B. All apps will misuse teenagers’ private information.
C. We’d better refuse new technology to stay safe.
D. Big data brings convenience as well as privacy risks.
67. What can we learn from the last paragraph?
A. Big data is not useful for our daily life at all.
B. We should use big data while protecting our privacy.
C. It is hard for students to accept new technology.
D. New technology can never bring us any trouble.

Microplastics (微塑料): The Hidden Environmental Problem
Plastic pollution has always been a serious problem in the world. According to New Scientist in February, 2024, microplastics, tiny plastic pieces less than 5 millimeters, have become one of the most worrying environmental problems today. They are too small for people to see easily, yet they have spread widely across the Earth—in Antarctic snow, deep ocean water, soil, and even our daily food and drinking water.
Microplastics bring great harm to living things and the whole environment. Sea animals often take microplastics as food by mistake. After eating them, the animals feel full and refuse real food, which finally causes health problems or even death. For humans, microplastics can enter our bodies through food and water. Although scientists are still researching their long-term influence on human health, we have already known clearly that they are harmful.
Where do these microplastics come from? Most of them come from daily plastic waste. Large plastic bags and bottles slowly break down into tiny pieces in nature. Besides, washing clothes with chemical fibers (化学纤维), using certain beauty products and the running of car tires (轮胎) will also produce plenty of microplastics.
However, there are still useful ways to fight against microplastic pollution. As middle school students, we can start with small changes in life: cut down the use of single-use plastics, such as plastic cups and straws; choose clothes made from natural materials like cotton. At the same time, governments and factories should make strict rules and develop green new materials to reduce plastic pollution.
Solving microplastic pollution is not an easy job and it takes a long time. But with joint efforts from everyone, we can surely protect our living planet better.
68.What are microplastics according to the first paragraph?
A. Large plastic bags and plastic bottles
B. Tiny plastic pieces smaller than 5 millimeters
C. A kind of special food for sea animals
D. Visible waste in the deep ocean
69.What can we infer from Paragraph 2?
A. Microplastics only do harm to sea animals
B. Scientists have known all the harm of microplastics.
C. Microplastics are bad for both animals and humans
D. Humans can stay away from microplastics easily.
70.Which of the following sentence is an opinion?
A. Microplastics are less than 5 millimeters in size.
B. It is meaningful for us to fight against microplastic pollution.
C. Car tires can produce microplastics while running.
D. Microplastics can be found in our daily drinking water.
71.What is the main idea of Paragraph 3?
A. The great harm of microplastics B. The wide spread of microplastics
C. The causes of microplastic pollution D. The ways to solve plastic pollution
72. What is the writer’s purpose of writing this passage?
A. To introduce different kinds of natural pollution.
B. To ask people to pay attention to microplastics and take action.
C. To show how sea animals live in the deep ocean.
D. To explain the history of plastic products.
