It covers about 6.7 million square kilometres; however, it is getting smaller year by year. Many animals and insects live in the rainforest. In fact, there are more living things here than in any other place in the world. You can find nearly 50, 000 kinds of plants and about 2, 400 kinds of freshwater fish here.
