The Most Valuable Player (MVP) award was what I hoped to get. Back in Grade 6, soccer became my favourite sport. I wasn't the best player on the team at the beginning of the year.But after a lot of hard work, by the end of the year, I felt that I was the MVP. As the soccer season went on, our team made it to the playoffs (季后赛), and we finished second. Our team was a very good team, and I was a big part of that. Everyone wants to write beautifully. And I love something special—— Chinese calligraphy.
When I was a little child, I loved to watch my grandparents write Chinese characters with ink brushes. Later I came to learn about many Chinese calligraphers, such as Wang Xizhi of the Jin Dynasty.
At the age of 9,I joined a writing class to learn Chinese calligraphy. The teacher showed many of his calligraphy works. I told myself that I would practice hard and try to become as good as him.
