In January 2026, thirteen government departments in China published an important health plan for young people. It is called the “Five Health” Action Plan and it runs until 2030. The plan focuses on five key areas: body weight, eyesight, mental (心理的) health, spine (脊柱) health, and dental (牙齿的) health.
The plan was created because young people in China face serious health challenges. Research shows that more than half of Chinese middle school students are short-sighted, often because of too much screen time and too little outdoor activity. Many students also do not exercise enough, which leads to poor posture (体态) and back pain.
Under the plan, schools must carry out regular health checks every year. These cover students’ eyesight, spines, and teeth. By 2030, every school must have a trained mental health teacher, so that students can get support when they feel stressed or unhappy.
There is also a fitness goal. By 2030, at least sixty percent of students should reach an excellent level on the national fitness test. Schools are encouraged to give students at least two hours of outdoor activity every day.
The “Five Health” plan reminds us that good health is the foundation (基础) of a good life. Studying hard matters, but so does taking care of your body and mind.

72. Where could you probably read the text?
A. In a short novel. B. In a travel guide.
C. In a daily newspaper. D. In a medical storybook.

由第一段“I could only make instant noodles”和第二段“tried to make tomato and egg soup”可知全文讲学做饭。

前文提到锻炼和健康食物很重要,is just as…

根据常识和后文“students who sleep well usually do better on tests”可知,睡眠能帮助巩固记忆。

avoid doing sth.

根据B的回答“I’d love to!” D“Would you like to join us?”

后文A说“You could easily hurt yourself if you wear the wrong shoes.”
G“We should take some medicine, just in case.”

Last term, I did badly in three tests in a row (连续地). My parents did not say much, but I could see they were disappointed. Every night, I lay awake and worried about my grades. I started to feel lonely and stressed.
One day, my PE teacher noticed that I looked upset. After class, he asked me to stay behind, I told him about my worries. He listened carefully and did not interrupt (打断).
“Feeling stressed is normal,” he said. “The important thing is what you do with that feeling.”
He suggested that I take a short walk outside every evening and write about my feelings in a diary. He also told me to talk to my parents so that they could understand how I felt.
I followed his advice. I started going for walks after dinner and writing a few sentences each night. Slowly, I began to feel calmer. I also spoke to my parents, and they were much more supportive than I had expected.
By the end of the term, my grades improved. But the most important thing I learned was this: when you feel upset, do not shut yourself away. Sharing your feelings with someone you trust can really help you to move forward.

69. Which is NOT one of the five key areas in the plan?
A. Spine health. B. Body weight. C. Mental health. D. Hearing health.
70. What does the underlined word “These” in Paragraph 3 refer to (指的是)?
A. The schools. B. The students. C. Health checks. D. Key health areas.
71. What does the writer try to tell us in the last paragraph?
A. The plan runs until 2030. B. Schools have regular checks.
C. Students face serious challenges. D. Good health matters as much as study.

A. In a short novel. B. In a travel guide.
C. In a daily newspaper. D. In a medical storybook.
