Amazing animals
1. 介绍一种你认为很神奇的动物及其特别之处(如大象很聪明、企鹅会游泳不会飞、海豚会救人等);
2. 说明这种动物目前面临的危险(如生存环境被破坏、被猎杀等);
介绍动物时可以用感叹句:“How amazing they are!”

· Let’s save these amazing animals together.
· smart, in danger, save the animals, ivory, protect the forest, take action
Dear schoolmates,
I am writing to call on everyone to protect amazing animals. Do you know that elephants are very smart? They can remember their friends for many years. They can also use their long noses to draw pictures. How amazing they are!
But today, elephants are in big danger. Every year, thousands of elephants are killed because people want their ivory. Their homes in the forest are also getting smaller. If we don’t help them, these amazing animals may disappear forever.
Here is what we can do. First, never buy things made of ivory. Second, save paper so fewer trees are cut down. Trees are part of the forest where elephants live. Third, you can tell your friends and family about elephants. The more people know, the more help we can give. Let’s save these amazing animals together. Every small action makes a big difference!

1. 介绍你去动物园看到了哪些神奇的动物,你最喜欢什么动物及原因;
2. 指出你发现的问题(至少2个,如场馆太小、游客不文明行为等);
可以用“I really enjoyed my visit to the zoo”开头,先肯定,再提建议。
· I really enjoyed my visit to your zoo last weekend.
· I saw many amazing animals there, such as...
· My favorite animal is... because...
· However, I noticed a few problems.
· The... is a little small for the animals to move around.

· giant panda, bamboo, glass, visitors, make noise, a bigger space, put up signs
Dear Zoo Director,
I really enjoyed my visit to your zoo last weekend. I saw many amazing animals there, such as lions, giraffes and pandas. My favorite animal is the giant panda. I love them because they are round and cute, and they look so happy when eating bamboo.
However, I noticed a few problems during my visit. First, the panda house is a little small. The pandas only have a small space to walk around. Second, some visitors tapped on the glass and made loud noises. The pandas seemed scared. Some people even threw snacks into the panda area. That is not good for their health.
May I suggest that you make the panda house bigger so the pandas can have more space to play? Also, could you please put up bigger signs that say “Please do not tap on the glass” and “Do not feed the animals”? Thank you for taking care of these amazing animals. I hope to see a better panda home next time!
Yours sincerely,
Li Ming
