These days, many of us are no strangers to drones (无人机). We use them to take amazing pictures or send things. But a man in the US came up with a new idea. He turned his drone into a "Poopcopter" to pick up dog poop (粪便).
Caleb Olson, 30, is an engineer. As the owner of a playful dog, OIson knows that cleaning up after a dirty dog is not enjoyable. "Lots of people have dogs, but nobody likes to touch dog poop," he said. "I thought, ‘Why not make something to do this dirty work?"
The "Poopcopter" is basically a drone with a camera on it. As the drone flies over a certain area, the camera looks for dog poop on the ground. Once it finds poop, the drone lands and picks it up before flying it to a rubbish bin.
Olson toyed with other names for his invention (发明), such as the "Doo DooDrone", but the "Poopcopter" won out in the end. "It's like a little poop-picking helicopter (直升飞机)," he explained. "The name is short, but it tells the idea clearly."
The"Poopcopter" is still in the experimental (实验) stage. Olson is trying to make it work better. Then, he plans to sell it in the future. The simple design and materials mean that the "Poopcopter" could be cheap. Would you like to buy one for your dog?

Have you ever hugged (拥) a tree? Do you know hugging trees is good for us?Recently, many people have shared their stories of hugging trees online. Although it sounds unusual, there is a science behind the act of tree-hugging.
A famous scientist ever said that humans are born to love being around other living things. Humans' love for nature is "in our DNA". This idea helps to explain why people like natural, green views better than city views.
Some studies have looked into why hugging trees can help with our health. A study shows that the act of tree-hugging can make the oxytocin (催长素) higher. The higher the level of oxytocin is, the calmer and happier you may be. Hugging trees for only 21 seconds can help boost your oxytocin.
Hugging trees is different from hugging people or animals. It gives us a chance to really get close to the tree. We can smell it, touch it and listen to the sound of the leaves. The steadiness (稳固) of the tree made us feel safe.
Although the activity is helpful to us, it's important to keep in mind that we shouldn't hurt nature while doing it. Trees often hold many things that are good for the environment. Many small animals live in the tree and they are too small to be seen. You may want to be gentle when hugging trees-just like how you hug a friend!
21. How does the writer begin the passage?
A. By telling a joke. B. By sharing a story.
C. By giving numbers. D. By asking questions.
22. What does the underlined word "boost" in Paragraph 3 mean?
A. make ... go up. B. make ... go by.
C. make... go away. D. make ... go back.
23. Why should we be careful when hugging trees?
A. Because trees are too small to be seen.
B. Because we may hurt their branches.
C. Because we can enjoy ourselves in nature.
D. Because we may hurt the living things in the trees.
24.What can we infer from the passage?
A. Hugging trees is better than hugging people.
B. Trees can feel pain when people hug them.
C. Hugging trees can make people feel calm and safe.
D People should hug trees as hard as they can.
