47.【答案】
Dear Li Ming,
Looking back on the days we’ve shared, I deeply understand what friendship is. I still remember when I failed in a math competition, you stayed with me and encouraged me. That made me realize friendship means support and never giving up on each other.
I know you’re worried about your exam and health. First, don’t be too hard on yourself. Everyone makes mistakes. Just learn from them. Second, try to build healthy habits. For example, you can do sports with me every weekend. It’s good for both your body and mood.
I believe you can overcome these difficulties. Let’s make progress together. Our friendship will always be my treasure.
Yours,
Zhang Hua
48.【答案】例文
Together We Made It
The four students in the picture are making a poster titled “Protecting Our Earth”. A girl is writing while the other three classmates are drawing. Teamwork is very important for each of us. When I just entered junior high school, the school held a sports meeting. All the events our class signed up for failed, leaving only the last one, the relay race. I’m a member of the team, but I’m not good at running. My teammates comforted me, telling me to believe in the power of the team. In the end, everyone in our group did their best and won the race. From this, I understand that teamwork is the key to victory.

一、阅读理解

In ancient times, in a city called Syracuse, there was a cruel King who treated his people very badly. The people were so unhappy that they planned to drive him away. The plan was discovered, and the king ordered the leaders to be killed.
One of the leaders was Damon. He lived far away and begged the King to let him go home to say goodbye to his family, promising he would come back to die on the set day.
The King did not believe him. “I will not let you go unless you find a friend to take your place in prison. If you don’t return on the day of your death, I will kill your friend instead.” The King thought, “No one would ever do such a thing.”
But Damon had a close friend named Pythias, who at once offered to stay in prison for him. The King was surprised but kept his word, so Pythias was put in prison.
Days passed, the day of death was near, and Damon still hadn’t come back. Every morning, Pythias looked out of the prison window, wondering if his friend was safe. The King went to see Pythias and said, “Your friend will never return.”
“You are wrong,” Pythias answered. “Damon will come if he can. He travels by sea, and bad winds have delayed him for days. I have no family, so I’d rather die for him than live without him.”
The king left, more surprised than ever.
The day of death came. Damon was still gone, and Pythias was taken to be killed. He said, “I may die for my friend. But remember: Damon is faithful (忠实的). You will see that he tried his best to return.”
At that moment, Damon came rushing in on a weak horse. His face was covered with dirt from the long ride. He took Pythias’s place at once and hugged him. “My dear friend, I made it! I was afraid I’d be too late.”
Pythias was not glad, for he did not want to live if his friend had to die.
The King saw everything. He finally believed their unselfish friendship, his heart softened, and he set them both free, even asking to be their friend too. The people in the square cheered loudly.
1.Why was Pythias put in prison?
A.Because he was a leader who planned against the King.

D.Because he agreed to stay in prison for Damon.

A.He began to question Damon’s promise.
B.He still believed in Damon and was ready to die for him.
C.He got scared and asked the King to wait longer.
D.He felt cheated and sorry for his choice.
3.Which of the following pictures is NOT mentioned in the passage?
A. B.
C. D.
4.What can we use to describe Damon and Pythias today?
A.A long and hard journey that finally brings success.
B.A promise that is too difficult for anyone to keep.

Sometimes, making someone happy is easy—just say a few words that really satisfy him. From strangers to your family and closest friends, there are many nice things we can say to them to bring a little kindness to the world.
However, some people find it difficult to say something nice to others. Recently, the topic “Don’t feel ashamed to give compliments (赞美)” has gone popular on the social media. People shared personal experiences when people felt too shy to say something nice about someone. They also expressed their worries: “What if others think my words are just flattery (奉承)?” “What if I praise someone and only get the cold shoulder?” Because of these fears, some choose to stay quiet, leaving kind words unsaid.
This small habit seems harmless, but it can hide our true feelings. Little by little, we get used to keeping our praise, care and kindness deep inside. Over time, it can change our relationships and even reduce our own sense of happiness. As a result, we may start to feel distant from others.
In fact, saying something nice doesn’t mean we are trying to please others against our wish. Instead, it shows we pay attention to the strengths and efforts of those around us, and we value and respect them.
Simple and sincere praise can warm someone’s heart, reduce misunderstandings (误会) and bring people together. So next time you see your friend wearing a beautiful coat, why not give him a sincere compliment? For example, you can focus on details like “This colour looks great on you!” or “You really have a good taste in music!” These kind words not only make your friend happy but also create a pleasant feeling between you.
Kind words cost nothing, but they can mean everything.
5.Why do some people find it hard to praise others?
A.Because they like to keep their praise inside.
B.Because they think kind words cost too much.
C.Because they may praise others against wishes.
D.Because they worry others will not like their words.
6.What does the phrase “cold shoulder” in Paragraph 2 probably mean?
A.A polite and warm welcome. B.A shy and quiet conversation.
C.A silent and unfriendly reply. D.A cold and dishonest manner.
7.The writer mentions “This colour looks great on you” as an example to show that ________.
A.compliments on clothing are always the perfect choice
B.simple and specific praise can build good relationships
C.a simple compliment can sometimes reduce misunderstandings
D.friends usually care more about their appearance than other things
8.What would be the best title of the passage?
A.The Secret to True Happiness B.Why We Should Not Praise Others
C.The Power of a Sincere Compliment D.How to Avoid Misunderstandings

Recently, the topic “Never send chat screenshots (聊天截图) to your friends” has led to heated discussions online. What’s your idea on this?
I think we need to be careful when sharing chat screenshots. If they are about something private (私密的), we’d better not share them freely. It’s important to respect others’ privacy (隐私). If they are about casual (随意的) chats, it may be fine to share them.
However, even sharing casual chats can sometimes bring trouble. During the Spring Festival, I was chatting with a classmate about some funny things. I wanted to share a screenshot of our chat with another classmate, but I sent it to the wrong person. It was really embarrassing. So, we should pay special attention when sharing screenshots.
This is all about trust and boundaries (边界). We should think carefully before sharing chat screenshots, because some people feel it’s a betrayal (背叛) of trust to do that. A private chat is like a secret between friends. Sharing it without asking feels like breaking a promise. However, sometimes people share funny moments to bring friends closer.
The key, I think, is the purpose. Before you hit “send”, ask yourself: Would I be fine if someone shared my words like this? If there’s any doubt, it’s better to ask for permission first.
I once saw a friend share someone else’s private message. It made me wonder: Would she do the same to me? That uneasy feeling changed how much I trusted her. I think everyone’s personal information should be respected.
21.Did Jason send a chat screenshot to the wrong person during the Spring Festival?
22.What is a private chat like according to Helen?
23.What do Jason’s and Helen’s opinions have in common?
24.Will you send chat screenshots to your friends? Why or why not?

Real Friendship
The Cambridge Dictionary’s Word of the Year 2025, “parasocial” made me think of my college years. When I went to college, I expected to have the social experiences I had seen in old movies: close friendships and late-night discussions. But social life at my college was full of loud parties. Worse, it was a school in South America with different cultural expectations. Northern kids like me had a hard time getting along with others.
It was a lonely time. I found writers who thought like me. Their books made me feel less alone. “Trust yourself,” Ralph Waldo Emerson advised. I could almost feel his hand on my shoulder as I stood apart from my schoolmates. But so often, I felt they could never be my friends. With friends, I imagined, there must be a real meeting of minds.
It’s simply easier to find people who share our ideas in books and movies than in the small circle nearby. After all, it’s a bigger world out there. We may find people we really admire, who are smarter than anyone we know personally. It is easy to want to make friends with the characters in books and movies.
Today, though, there is another choice for people who have difficulty forming connections: AI. You can create a friend that you cannot find in real life. AI can take on almost any role. In some ways, it seems like the perfect friend.
But these parasocial friendships are always one-sided. What is real friendship? It is built on give and take. We want support from our friends, and they want support from us. We want to share our news and ideas with our friends, and they want to share theirs with us. It’s comforting to know that you’re not alone in having a certain thought. However, it’s also important to provide that comfort for someone else.
Some people find inspiration in Ralph Waldo Emerson, but others admire Tu Youyou, or perhaps Eileen Gu. Don’t just admire them from afar—start making friends with the person sitting next to you, or someone in your dorm, or a classmate in the classroom. Real friendship often starts when we reach out ourselves.
25.Did the writer get a sense of belonging at university?
26.What did the writer believe true friendship must have?
27.According to the passage, who can be people’s parasocial friends? (List 2 examples)
28.In the writer’s opinion, how is parasocial friendship different from real friendship?
29.What kind of friends does the writer advise us to make? (no more than 5 words)

During the Mid-Autumn Festival, a documentary film (纪录片), The Sinking of the Lisbon Maru, was highly praised. It tells a little-known story from World War II. The story reminds us just how b 30 the Chinese people were in the face of terrible war.
At the c 31 of the story is the Lisbon Maru, a Japanese ship. In October 1942, it was carrying more than 1,800 British prisoners of war (POWs, 战俘) from Hong Kong to Japan. It was breaking international law as it didn’t have any s 32 to show that it was carrying POWs. As a result, it was torpedoed (鱼雷攻击) by a U. S. submarine. Tragedy (悲剧) f 33 . As the ship sank, Japanese soldiers locked the POWs below deck (甲板) and left them there to die. They even killed many who tried to get away.
Some POWs fought hard and m 34 to break out of the small room on the ship. Then, as the ship neared the coast of the Zhoushan Islands in Zhejiang, a “miracle (奇迹)” happened. L 35 fishermen risked their lives and went out to sea in their boats. In all, they saved 384 British soldiers from the water.
Many viewers r 36 in their seats at the end of the film until they had read all the names of the British soldiers on the ship and the Zhoushan fishermen.
Director (导演) Fang Li first heard the story from fishermen in Zhoushan ten years ago. He thought that the t 37 shouldn’t be forgotten and decided to bring it to the big screen. “It’s for both those British young men and the Chinese fishermen,” he said.
To make his film, Fang traveled to several countries. He interviewed h 38 of survivors, descendants (后代) of the POWs, and the fishermen’s families. Fang pieced together their memories to tell the true story.
There is also a 39 touching part to this. Fang said that the fishermen’s fathers always said, “We just did what we had to do,” while the descendants of the POWs sincerely thanked them.

Nowadays, robots are playing a more important role in our daily life. Besides helping with daily tasks, they can also offer company (陪伴) to humans. This makes people wonder: Can robots and humans be friends? Two teenagers hold different o 40 on this topic.
Robots and humans can be friends. First of all, robots can offer emotional support to people. For lonely elderly people, or teenagers who are too nervous to share their worries with classmates, robots act as the most p 41 listeners. They never feel tired of your repeated stories and always make you feel good again. Furthermore, robots are always available. Unlike human friends who may be busy with study, robots can stay with you whenever you need. Whether you want to open up about your sadness after a bad exam, or share your happiness about a nice trip, robots will give you a response i 42 , and never make you wait or feel like you are troubling others. Besides, robots can help people practice communication skills. For those who are afraid of t 43 to others, chatting with robots is a good way to learn to express themselves better.
Gong Lina, 15, Shanghai
Robots can never be real friends with humans. For one thing, robots have no real feelings like humans. They only follow set programs, so they can’t truly u 44 your deep joy or sadness. For another, too much dependence on robots may make people more lonely. If people spend much free time chatting with robots, they will have f 45 chances to communicate with real people, and even lose the ability to get on with others. Most importantly, real friendship needs heart-to-heart connection, which robots can never provide. No matter how smart they are, robots cannot share real life experiences with you like a human friend. You need someone who can share ups and downs of life with you, and stand firmly by your side whenever you are in trouble. W 46 these shared life moments, it is impossible to form a real, lasting friendship.

【答案】21.Yes, he did.
22.It is like a secret between friends.
23.They both think people should be careful when sharing chat screenshots and respect others’ privacy.
24.I will not send chat screenshots to my friends easily, because it may hurt others’ privacy and break the trust between friends, just as Jason and Helen mentioned.
【导语】本文围绕“不要给朋友发聊天截图”的话题,呈现Jason和Helen的观点与经历,探讨分享聊天记录的隐私与信任问题。
21.Jason部分讲述经历:“During the Spring Festival, I was chatting with a classmate about some funny things. I wanted to share a screenshot of our chat with another classmate, but I sent it to the wrong person.”,说明他在春节期间把聊天截图发错了人,所以是肯定回答。
22.Helen部分给出定义:“A private chat is like a secret between friends.”,直接提取信息。

【答案】25.No, he/she didn’t.
26.A real meeting of minds.
27.Characters in books and movies; AI.
28.Parasocial friendship is always one-sided, while real friendship is built on give and take.
29.Friends around us.
25.第一段“It was a lonely time.”说明,作者在大学时很孤独,没有获得归属感。故答案为No, he/she didn’t.
26.第二段“With friends, I imagined, there must be a real meeting of minds.”说明,作者认为真正的友谊必须有心灵上的真正契合。因此答案是原文直接信息。
27.第三段“It is easy to want to make friends with the characters in books and movies.”以及第四段“Today, though, there is another choice for people who have difficulty forming connections: AI.”说明,书籍和电影中的人物、AI都可以成为人们的拟社会朋友。因此答案是原文直接信息。
28.第五段“But these parasocial friendships are always one-sided. What is real friendship? It is built on give and take.”说明,在作者看来,拟社会友谊总是单方面的,而真正的友谊是建立在相互给予和索取的基础上的。
29.最后一段“Don’t just admire them from afar—start making friends with the person sitting next to you, or someone in your dorm, or a classmate in the classroom. Real friendship often starts when we reach out ourselves.”表明,作者建议我们与身边的人交朋友。
