Which one do you want to explore more?
Choose an explorer or a secret of nature and prepare a 1-minute oral report, which should include:
Who/What is it?
What do we know about it?
Why is it worth exploring?
Disscuss and then share your answers.
One possible version:
Good morning, everyone.
Today, I want to talk about a secret of nature: Why do we sleep?
First, we all know that sleep is very common. Every night, we spend about 8 hours sleeping. When we sleep, our bodies and brains are not really “off”.
But why do we need it? We know that sleep helps us rest. It makes our brains work well the next day. If we don’t sleep enough, we will feel tired and can’t study well.
I think it is worth exploring because everyone sleeps, but not many people know the real reasons. By studying sleep, we can keep healthy and live better lives.
Thank you for listening!
