According to the latest national reports on vision, the number of people with myopia (近视) in China has reached about 700 million. The overall myopia rate among Chinese teenagers is 51.2%.
Recent studies show that 80.5% of senior high school students are short-sighted, followed by 71.1% in junior high school, 35.6% in primary school and about 14% of 6-year-old children. These worrying numbers remind us that eye protection is still very important.
Besides family history, main reasons for poor eyesight include not having enough outdoor activities and sleep, and too much screen time.
However, many teenagers do not take myopia seriously. They believe wearing glasses or having eye surgery (手术) can easily solve the problem, and some even think wearing glasses looks cool. Later, when they have to spend much money on glasses or feel uncomfortable after operations, they will regret not protecting their eyes earlier.

第一段提到“In March 2026, OpenClaw, an AI tool, became very popular in China…Many tech fans waited in long lines for free setup...and some people even paid for faster setup services”,即开篇点明OpenClaw在中国非常受欢迎,提到“很多科技迷排长队等待免费安装,甚至有人付费获取更快安装服务”,是为了体现人们对OpenClaw的需求强烈,突出该工具十分受欢迎,
第三段提到“This helps them to do important tasks with fewer workers in shorter time and use tools that used to be expensive.”,这说明OpenClaw省钱省时。
第五段最后一句“If they’re used carefully and correctly, they can change our lives in the future.”,即本段以AI工具若被正确、谨慎使用,会改变未来生活收尾,此句为核心延伸点,因此可推断第六段最可能围绕“如何正确使用AI工具”展开,承接前文的观点。

Larry seemed always quiet and had no friends. His teacher Mr. Brown ____46____ this.

Hearing this, Mr. Brown shouted ____57____ , “Yes, this is exactly what I want to hear from you! To improve the ____58____ of the juice, we don’t need to throw it away or take the salt out. We can just add enough sugar. Similarly, when terrible things ____59____ happened in our life, it was hard to forget them all, but we can add sweetness of good experiences by trying something new. We hardly know what is in our juice. But we can decide what we finally enjoy.
46. A. watched B. noticed C. believed D. forgot

pick up“捡起,学会”,turn on“打开”,get across“传达”,均不符合。
fail to do sth.
want to talk to nobody
from time to time“时不时”不表示故意,in return“作为回报”无依据,no way“没门”语法错误,on purpose 正确。
out、back、through 均不能与 move eyes 构成此意。
be about to do was afraid to“害怕做”、was able to“能够做”、was up to“取决于/胜任”均不表示即将发生的动作。

64. Bruno won an a________ for his excellent performance in the speech competition.
65. A________ Emily is quite busy with work, she spares weekends to take care of her two kids.
Although##lthough

Biting could be worrying
Nail biting can begin from 3 to 6 years old. Up to 45% of the teenagers in the UK bite their nails. A survey shows that 13.78% of primary school students in China bite nails. It makes our fingers look ugly. Nails carry lots of viruses that are bad for health. What’s worse, it could hurt a lot.
Many people just can’t stop doing it. Most bite a nail not because it’s too long, but because they are feeling stressed out, or just have nothing else to do. While a few do that to keep nails in good shape. The same could happen to skin picking and hair pulling. A normal behavior could become “pathological” (病态的), as experts say.
In 2013, the American Psychiatric Association labeled (把……列为) nail biting as an obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD, 强迫症). People with this disorder may wash their hands again and again or have to line up their shoes in a certain way.
But nail biting is different from other OCD behaviors in at least one way. People with other OCD don’t want to wash their hands over and over again. There is no fun in it. They are just afraid that if they don’t do something, terrible things will happen to them. But nail biters enjoy it. “When you get the right nail, it feels good,” said one of the biters.
But anyway, it’s still a bad habit. So what can we do to stop it? In fact, most people bite nails as a way to be less stressed out. Why not find another way to take its place, suggested Rochelle Torgerson, a doctor at the Mayo Clinic in the US. She also said: “They can try playing with their pens.” Besides, nail biters really want to bite if they find a small imperfect part of the nail, said Mathews. So always keep your nails in good shape.

·The nail biters try to keep nails tidy and in good shape.
